We know you love our monthly favorites posts so now we're doing a monthly post highlighting our favorite BEAUTY discoveries from subscription boxes! Here are our favorite skincare, green beauty, and makeup items from the past month:

Marne's Favorite:

Giorgio Armani Beauty Rouge D’ Armani matte lipstick with lid off

Marne wearing Giorgio Armani lipstick

The Item: Giorgio Armani Beauty Rouge D’Armani Matte in 400

The Cost: Estimated Value $10.86 (Buy a full-size 0.14 oz. for $38)

From: Sephora Favorites: Luxe at Sephora

Why I love it: This. Red. Is. To. Die. For! I've been wearing it a lot and every photo of myself that I see with me wearing it- I think, "Damn, girl!". It's such a great shade and really gets me into the holiday glam mood.

Megan's Favorite:

The Item: Joanna Vargas Daily Serum

The Cost: $85

From: Scentbird

Why I love it: This is a really pricy brand that I have always wanted to try, so when I saw it I immediately added it to my queue. Scentbird has a shockingly great assortment of skincare and the savings are awesome. This $85 serum was only $29.95 after the sub cost and the premium item upgrade fee. I use this every single day before makeup and it certainly tones down my redness and gives me a little glow!

Becca's Favorite:

Bolzano November 2019 mud scrub front

The Item: Parlo Mud Scrub, 2 oz

The Cost: $2.50

From: Bolzano

Why I love it: I have extremely acne-prone skin, which tends to be on the oily side, so I love me some charcoal and tea tree oil! This scrub/mask goes on thick and is very course for exfoliating. I let it dry and lightly wash it off and like magic, my skin looks brighter, smoother, and just plain happier!

Jessica's Favorite:

The Item: Pyungkang Yul Essence Toner

The Cost: $12 for 100 ml

From: BomiBox Luxe

Why I love it: This essence toner hybrid has a delightfully squishy texture that I genuinely enjoy applying every morning. It hasn’t replaced my toner, but I have been using it in the essence step of my routine and have definitely noticed a difference in the moisture levels of my skin throughout the day compared to before I started using this product.

Brandi's Favorite:

The Item: Lord&Berry 20100 Matte Lipstick in Sensuel

The Cost: $20

From: Lip Monthly

ACTIVE DEAL: Save 25% off your first box!
CODE: 25OFF

Why I love it: This lipstick shade is a great one for this holiday season. It is a nice pink berry color with just a hint of coral to it. It applies smoothly and even though it’s a matte formula I find that it’s not drying or chalky looking at all!

Ragan's Favorite:

Scent Box November 2019 Tube Closed

The Item: Jimmy Choo Fever

The Cost: $65 for 1.3 fl oz

From: Scent Box

ACTIVE DEAL: Get 35% off your first month! No coupon needed - just use this link.

Why I love it: Scents of the month from perfume subscriptions can be really hit or miss for me, but this one was great. I'm sure a large part of that are the vanilla and sandalwood notes; I love almost every fragrance I've tried with that particular combination. I'm thinking of using my 20% off Ulta coupon to get a full-sized bottle of this.

Abby's Favorite:

The Item: Wild Yonder Botanicals Sea Salt Face Glow

The Cost: $8

From: MoonBox by Gaia Collective

Why I love it: I love the feel of physical exfoliants, but I've been trying to steer clear of over-exfoliating. Using this salt treatment once a week has helped me get my scrubby fix, and it keeps my skin feeling smooth and happy. It also is mild enough that it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It checks all of the boxes!

What do you think of our beauty favorites for November? What other favorite discoveries would you like us to round up each month?

Hi there, I'm Christen. I am all sorts of things:

🌳 a writer who loves to convey feeling

🌲 a mother who wants to have just as much fun as my kids do

🌳 an outdoors-lover who's achieved #1000hoursoutside with my family

🌲 a low-maintenance self-carer

🌳 a general hungry person with an unstoppable sweet tooth

You'll find me collecting stationery and squirreling away stickers, riding bikes and swimming with my family, creating outfits in colors and silhouettes that make me feel amazing, wearing big earrings, drinking beer and asking my husband to feed me harmonies to sing, taking my vitamins, living for dancing to live music, roping everyone into a craft, being human and vulnerable, and celebrating the phenomenon of being alive.

...and doing it all with energy, delight, and jokes along the way.

Yes, we plan to! The goal is to post them monthly. I’m so glad you like them. Stay tuned!

I’ve been wanting to try the Pyungkang Yul Essence Toner. The whole brand is founded on no-nonsense skincare – no fragrance, no essential oils, etc. Definitely not luxury but that’s kind of good because a lot of luxury brands will have sensitizing ingredients and it just doesn’t make sense. Anyway, I like their formulation philosophy but I’ve mostly only heard good things about the Essense Toner.

I love this feature! I think my favorite this month is the Elemis rose oil from Boxy charm…I still haven’t got my ipsy GBP, so I can’t tell you how I feel about any of that 😂

Would love to see Liz included more on these lists.

Hey Shannon! The monthly favorites are sort of an open call to our reviewers, and they submit when they can, which why you don’t see a favorite for every single reviewer each month. I’m hoping that for December favorites, with the holiday rush behind us, Liz will have a chance to submit her faves. <3
