The 21 Best Plus-Size Clothing Subscription Boxes for Sizes 12-32

From cute dresses to cool workwear, these plus-size clothing subscriptions give you an easy, comfortable way to shop. You’ll build your wardrobe on your own schedule without ever stepping foot in a dressing room. That’s one of our favorite features of these services: We’re most comfortable in front of our home mirror, and clothing boxes allow us to avoid buyer’s remorse while actually enjoying our clothes.

But that’s not the only reason to check out subscription services — many offer personal stylists, ideal if you’re stuck in a fashion rut or looking for inspiration. Several companies offer rental-based models to cut closet clutter while limiting environmental impact, and these services can be an affordable way to experiment with new looks. Most importantly, you’ll never have to worry about finding a great piece of apparel, only to discover that it’s available in straight sizes only.

Of course, regardless of your goals, you’ll need to find high-quality services to take advantage of these benefits. That’s where we come in. We’ve collected the best clothing subscription and rental options for plus-size women, providing promo links and codes wherever possible. Whether you’re looking for chic lingerie, jeans, workout clothes, or anything else, you’ll find it here. Let’s dive in.

Best Plus-Size Clothing Subscription Boxes, both to Rent and to Keep

1. Stitch Fix

4 examples of stitch fix plus outfits, from casual to workready

Image via Stitch Fix

Cost: Stitch charges a $20.00 styling fee, but that fee can be applied towards any items you decide to buy. Sign up here!

Sizes Available: Up to 24W and 3X.

Why We Love It: Who says you can’t afford a personal stylist? Stitch Fix asks for your unique style, sizing, and preferences, then a personal stylist chooses five articles of clothing and accessory items from a variety of brands to match your preferences.

Try everything on in the comfort of your home, keep what you love, and return anything you don’t want. Returns are free, and your styling fee can be applied towards the cost of your order; in other words, while you’re paying for the curation, you’ll probably get your money back.

We like that you can get Stitch Fix “Fixes” on a one-off basis (say, if you have an event coming up) or on a recurring basis. A plus-size clothing subscription is a great idea if you’re looking to refresh your wardrobe.

Stitch Fix also offers maternity, kids, and men’s clothes, too, so you can easily cut out trips to the department store (and keep your family looking snazzy) with a few subscriptions. The service legitimately listens to customer feedback, and their curators are on par with any of the other services on this list. With free shipping, returns, and exchanges, Stitch Fix is revolutionizing the shopping experience by removing the stress and hassle.

Ships free to the US. For more info, read our monthly Stitch Fix reviews!

2. Dia & Co. Style

Cost: There is a $20.00 styling fee to order a box, but that fee goes towards any items you decide to buy. Sign up here!

Sizes Available: 14-32, 1X-5X.

Why We Love It: Dia & Co. is a plus-size women’s clothing subscription service with an awesome selection of gorgeous and empowering apparel. You’ll find everything from workwear to jeans and activewear.

Whether you’re looking for a cute dress, top, jacket, or anything else, you’ll find options to build a better wardrobe, and you’re not stuck with one or two brands — regardless of your taste or lifestyle, you’ll find something to love.

If you’d prefer to do your own shopping, you can browse their store, but the company’s styling service is exceptional. Their stylists craft killer combinations, and whether you’re looking for interesting new combinations or tried-and-true favorites, their monthly Dia Box delivers

Like Stitch Fix, Dia & Co. charges a modest $20 styling fee, which can be applied to anything in your Dia Box that you decide to keep. You can try on your new clothes in the comfort of your home, and if you decide to keep everything in the box (which may happen — their stylists are that good), you’ll get 25% off your order

Dia & Co. is designed for plus-sized women, so if you’re looking for clothes for men or kids, this isn’t a one-stop shop. That’s the point; by curating apparel for a specific (and often overlooked audience), Dia & Co. fills an important niche. They also offer a plus-size clothing subscription service for activewear — which is great enough that we’re featuring it separately.

Ships free to the US. For more info, read our monthly Dia & Co. reviews!

3. Dia & Co Active

Cost: There is a $20.00 styling fee to order a box, but that fee goes towards any items you decide to buy. Sign up here!

Sizes Available: 14-32, 1X-5X.

Why We Love It: Yes, Dia & Co. offers a personal styling service for activewear, too! This plan works just like the company’s regular styling service, except they’ll ask for fitness-specific info. By collecting information about your preferred level of compression in leggings, the support you prefer, and other key info, their stylists are able to match you with fitness apparel that fits your body (and improves your workout).

As with Dia & Co.’s other plus-size clothing subscription, the Active Box includes five items from a variety of brands. Try them on, decide what to keep, and return the rest with the included shipping label (shipping is free). The same rules apply: Your $20 styling fee goes towards whatever you keep, and you’ll get a 25% discount if you keep everything in your box.

Unlike Dia & Co. Style, which can be set as a one-off order or a recurring subscription, Dia & Co. Active only offers boxes on a one-off basis. That makes sense; most of us don’t purchase brand-new activewear every month, and ordering a second box is fairly easy.

Ships free to the US. For more info, read our Dia & Co. Active reviews and our monthly Dia & Co. reviews!

4. Gwynnie Bee

Cost: Plans start at $49.00 per month. Sign up here!

Sizes Available: Up to 32.

Why We Love It: Gwynnie Bee is a clothing rental subscription for women sizes 0-32. We know what you’re thinking: Does “clothing rental” make sense?

In 2021, the answer is a definitive “yes.” There’s no better way to stay chic without filling your closet with clothes that you don’t wear regularly, and Gwynnie Bee’s model addresses some of the common issues with other rental-based plus-size clothing subscriptions.

To get started, you’ll browse Gwynnie Bee’s extensive online catalog, which includes versatile options from a variety of well-known brands. You’ll add your favorite looks to your digital closet. Gwynnie Bee will send you up to 10 of those items (depending on your plan) to wear as long as you’d like.

Wear something once or add it to your rotation — whenever you’re ready for something new, use Gwynnie Bee’s free return label to send your order back and receive a new set of clothes. If you get particularly attached to an item, you can purchase it. Returned clothes are thoroughly dry cleaned, inspected, and returned to inventory.

Gwynnie Bee goes to great lengths to make sure you receive clothes that look brand new (that means vibrant colors, no rips or tears, and that just-from-the-store feel). You’ll be cutting down on waste by renting, and you’ll never run out of style inspiration. Plus, you’ll save money! That’s a win-win-win (we counted, that’s three wins).

Ships free to the US. For more info, read our monthly Gwynnie Bee reviews!

5. Trunk Club

woman in sleek wide leg jumpsuit from trunk club

Image via Trunk Club

Cost: There is a $25.00 styling fee to order a box, but that fee goes towards any items you decide to buy. Sign up here!

Sizes Available: Up to 28W, 4X.

Why We Love It: Trunk Club has a slightly more expensive styling fee than some of the other plus-size subscription boxes we’ve covered. However, that fee still counts towards your purchase, and there are a few great reasons to give the service some attention.

First, Trunk Club is from Nordstrom, which means it’s a great source for higher-end looks. They have an extensive style quiz, and subscribers can interact directly with their stylist to give more details about their preferences.

In addition to high-quality clothing — curated to keep you looking your best at work, home, or on special occasions — Trunk Club includes shoes, which immediately sets it apart from most other styling services.

Trunk Club also offers a few cool perks that will appeal to some subscribers. For instance, if you use a Nordstrom credit or debit card, they’ll waive the styling fee. All members can preview their box before they ship, and the service doesn’t have any shipping or return fees.

Their site also has helpful tips for dressing more effectively regardless of your body type. If you love wearing stylish clothes but you’re not sure where to start, Nordstrom Trunk Club gives you the resources you need to start your journey.

Ships free to the contiguous U.S. and to Alaska and Hawaii for a fee. For more info, read our monthly Trunk Club reviews!

6. Eloquii Unlimited

Plus-size woman in on-trend clothing from Eloquii.

Image via Eloquii.

Cost: $79 per month to rent four items at a time. Sign up here!

Sizes Available: 14-28

Why We Love It: Eloquii is a plus-size clothing rental service for women who wear sizes 14-28. Their curation includes hundreds of high-quality, on-trend styles to choose from. You can rent four pieces at a time, then send them back or purchase them at a discounted price.

Each new box of clothing contains freshly dry-cleaned pieces that wear like new. Exchanges are free, and their selection contains dozens of trendsetting looks to help you find your new faves. To get started, you’ll create an account, then browse Eloquii’s closet and add 10 or more items to your virtual closet. You’ll be sent four items within a few days of subscribing, and you can swap them out anytime you’re ready.

Eloquii launches new styles every week, and we love their commitment to keeping things fresh. Clothing rental saves money, and as we mentioned earlier, it’s a great way to reduce your carbon footprint — showing off that cute new green top might actually be “going green.”

Ships free to the US.

7. nuuly

Plus-size woman in nuuly rental clothes.

Image via nuuly.

Cost: $88 per month to rent 6 items at a time. Sign up here!

Sizes Available: Up to size 30 in a variety of brands, and up to size 40 in Universal Standard clothing. Reference their size chart for more info.

Why We Love It: nuuly is a clothing rental subscription by URBN, a fashion company associated with Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, and Free People. They carry a range of sizes — including plenty of plus-size clothing — and their subscription service provides hassle-free access to top brands.

As with the other rental-based plus-size clothing subscription boxes we’ve covered, you’ll choose what you want in each shipment, and you’ll always have the option to purchase your clothing outright (at a discounted rate).

We love that nuuly sends each delivery in reusable packaging, and their selection is awesome; if you’re attached to a certain iconic brand, chances are great that you’ll find it on their shelves. Laundry and repairs are included in the cost, so you won’t have to worry about the occasional coffee stain or frayed hem.

While nuuly is somewhat expensive for a rental service, it’s still cheaper than buying clothes outright. Plus, who can put a price on an ever-refreshing wardrobe?

Good to Know: You can rent additional pieces for $10 each.

Ships free to the US. For more info, read our Nuuly review!

8. Stylogic

Cost: There is a $20.00 styling fee to order a box, but that fee goes towards any items you decide to buy. Sign up here!

Sizes Available: 12 to 36.

Why We Love It: Stylogic takes your style and sizing preferences and curates a set of clothing and accessories. Of course, you can wear those items separately, but all of the products coordinate, and that’s a big part of the appeal. For a fairly low price, you’ll get a ready-to-wear outfit that’s suited to your tastes.

Stylogic’s terms are on par with the other “personal stylist” options we’ve covered. You’ll pay $20 for a styling fee, but that counts towards the cost of any items you purchase. Buy the entire set, and you’ll get a 20% discount

Best of all, you’re not tied to a subscription (unless you’re actually looking for a stylish plus-size clothing subscription, in which case, they’ve got that option, too). Purchase sets as one-off purchases without worrying about recurring charges.

Because Stylogic has a mix of well-known brands and independent boutiques, their boxes have plenty of range. Just be sure to decide whether to keep your items within a week — the delivery date counts as day one.

Ships free to the US. For more info, read our Stylogic reviews!

9. FTF Closet by Fashion to Figure

Cost: $54.95 per month to rent unlimited sets of three garments at a time. Sign up here!

Sizes Available: 12-24, XL-3XL.

Why We Love It: Fashion to Figure‘s clothing rental subscription lets you explore a variety of the brand’s trend-conscious looks without crowding your closet. There are no commitments, so you can cancel the service any time, and their affordable pricing makes them an excellent plus-size clothing subscription service for keeping your budget intact.

For the flat monthly fee, you’ll be able to rent sets of 3 items. That includes plus-size dresses, jeans, tops, workwear, and more. Keep the sets as long as you’d like, and if you find something you love, you can purchase it at a discount.

Unlike some of the other clothing rental subscriptions you’ll find online, Fashion to Figure is specifically designed for plus-size women. That means that every outfit flatters your curves and highlights your beauty. Their apparel is trendy, comfortable, and occasionally bold — perfect for building your personal style.

Ships free to US.

10. Unique Vintage Dress of the Month Club

Plus-size woman in a vintage-inspired red dress.

Image via Unique Vintage.

Cost: $50.00 per month + shipping. Sign up here!

Sizes Available: Up to 5X.

Why We Love It: Unique Vintage is all about retro glamour, which is why we’re in love with this plus-size subscription.

Through their Dress of the Month Club, you’ll receive a new vintage design every month for a set price. If the look isn’t your style — or if doesn’t fit — you can send it back for a full refund. With vibrant colors, eye-catching patterns, and classic styling, you’ll find plenty of ways to make those special nights a little more special.

The Unique Vintage Dress of the Month Club gives you something to look forward to with each delivery, and their excellent subscription model ensures that you’ll love your monthly wardrobe refresh. Be sure to check out their past dresses of the month; while the retro look isn’t for everyone, it’s perfect for just about everyone, right?

Ships to U.S. for $7.00. For more info, read our monthly Unique Vintage Dress of the Month Club reviews!

11. Wantable Style Edit

a folded stack of wantable clothing

Image via Wantable

Cost: There is a $20.00 styling fee to order a box, but that fee goes towards any items you decide to buy. Sign up here!

Sizes Available: XS-3X (0-24W).

Why We Love It: Before Wantable‘s monthly boxes begin arriving on your doorstep, you’ll complete a brief quiz about your sizing and style preferences. Professional stylists will then curate boxes of 5-7 items from a variety of notable and lesser-known brands to match your needs.

If that sounds familiar, it should — Wantable follows the same stylist-on-demand model as many of the other companies we’ve covered — but they’re more focused on ultra-hip, Instagram-ready duds with that “where’d you get it?” factor.

Keep 5 or more items, and you’ll get a 20 percent discount (that 5-item threshold also applies if you opt for a more expensive box with more items, so if you tend to purchase everything in the box, consider upgrading). Send back anything you don’t want with the free return label

Compared with other plus-size clothing subscription boxes, you’ll receive more seasonal designs, and Wantable also offers one-of-a-kind themed boxes for getting certain looks.

Good to Know: Wantable also has a Fitness Edit. Their size range is the same as for the Style Edit. You can read our reviews of the Fitness Edit here!

Ships to U.S. for free. For more info, read our monthly Wantable Style Edit reviews!

12. AdoreMe

three women wearing adoreme bras under comfy fall clothes

Image via AdoreMe

Cost: $20 styling fee, which can be applied to any items you purchase. Sign up here!

Sizes Available: Up to 46DDD.

Why We Love It: AdoreMe Elite is a membership-based monthly subscription program that offers lingerie, sleepwear, activewear, and swimwear. Their site focuses on lingerie, and the Elite box typically focuses on coordinated sets.

When you sign up, you’ll share a little bit about your sizing and style preferences. You’ll receive curated collections that work for you — and if anything doesn’t work, send it back. Their selection finds the perfect balance between sexy, trendy, and elegant, and by providing feedback, you’ll get better curation over time.

If you love the confidence and sex appeal that comes from coordinated lingerie, AdoreMe Elite lets you get that experience at home. However, it’s important to note that this plus-size clothing subscription is clearly focused on lingerie lovers — for those people, it’s one of the best boxes available.

Image via our review!

Cost: A $9.78 fee per box, which is credited towards any items purchased. Only pay for what you keep. Sign up here!

Sizes Available: Up to 3X.

Why We Love It: Nadine West curates looks from brands that are trendy and affordable — and “affordable” is the key term here, as this plus-size clothing subscription focuses on budget-friendly fashion. If you love the idea of having a personal stylist, but the other options on this list don’t fit your budget, Nadine West delivers exactly what you need.

Each pack includes an outfit with 4-6 pieces curated to suit the style preferences and sizing info you submit when signing up. You’ll get clothes and accessories — including budget-friendly jewelry — and you’ll only pay for what you keep. If you’re dissatisfied with all of the items, you’ll pay a low shipping fee of less than $10. The average cost per item is around $20.

Nadine West is a fun way to explore your style without blowing up your bank account, and while their subscription is affordable, that doesn’t mean you’re getting low-quality apparel. The styling is on point, too; the more feedback you provide, the more you’ll enjoy each new selection.

Ships to the U.S. For more info, read our monthly Nadine West reviews!

Thank you for this informative and beneficial blog! I became burdened with something however now my thoughts are clear.

Carla

I just got my first Nordstrom trunk & they have amazing pieces & work well with you before shipping out your items but LAWD are they expensive…I had no idea! I’ll keep one item to not lose my 25 dollar fee but I have seen people get boxes with a lot cheaper items so maybe it’s a case of just talking to them, I chose the cheapest spending choice they had & my cheapest items is 49.00 on up to 89.00…I absolutely will not pay 90 dollars for some flats or 68.00 for a plain black tee, although they are really nice material & quality wise but I just can’t especially since I’m in the process of loosing weight…but if you have the money I definitely recommend them.

Steph

I totally agree. I’m in the process of losing weight also. I used StitchFix and their stylists just can’t get me a good box so I decided to try Nadine West. I found out on Facebook Nadine West has nice clothes at much more afforable prices. And their boxes are $9.78 for the styling fee.

Charity

I sure do wish there were more options for sizes over 3X!

Kari

I absolutely love Nadine West! The clothes fit perfectly, I wish I could keep everything they send.

Kristin

No offense but can we do this for petites? We short girls struggle too.

Susan

when I just signed up for stitch fix they asked if i wanted them to send petite sizes, i have not received any of the boxes so can not comment on the subscription yet, but know they have a petite option.

Christen Russo

Thanks for the suggestion, Kristin! I myself am forever cuffing my pants lol. We’ll consider this!

Mary

Dear Adore Me: Never has anyone sat outside sober with their friends with their shirts unbuttoned to show off their bras.

Mel

That made me snort. Ha ha!

Debi

Can you please explain the term “one off”.

Christen Russo

Hi Debi! This is WAY delayed, but “one off” in this case is meant to indicate that you can make a one-time purchase rather than committing to a recurring subscription. Hope that helps!

SquirrelyGirl

Thanks for compiling this list!

Marie

Which box would you recommend for business casual office wear? I’m starting a new job and not sure what to wear.

Mel

Stitch Fix has worked well for me for that. I am interested in trying Dia and Co. at some point. Just trying to get rid of my quarantine 15 that put me back up a size, yet I keep buying some of the smaller items because “I’ll get rid of it soon.” O_O

tpop

I’d recommend Stitch Fix. They tend to send (me) much more classic business casual styles. It depends on what you set your profile up for, of course, but you can also leave a note for the stylist that you are specifically looking for that.

Dia, I have found, sends more trendy clothing that didn’t work for me. Your experience may be different, of course.

Lacey Volk

Maybe Dia & Co? I’ve never used their service personally but I always have enjoyed Nicole’s reviews of their service and it seems like she really enjoys it! Nicole’s reviews are here: https://www.mysubscriptionaddiction.com/author/nrieder

Jamey

That blue and black trim/fringe dress under Gwynnie Bee is GORGEOUS!!! I’m never very good at clothes, but the clothing subs seem like a good idea, but then having to return a lot of items, or if I want to keep this or that seems to get confusing when I start reading about each of them. I had a friend try Gwynnie Bee almost 2 years ago and the clothes they sent her were horrid. Mostly the cuts and how they hung on her….us big girls are harder to dress because our bodies are so different, yet a lit of the cuts of the clothes are funky…so I dont know…I’m so on the fence about trying it.
