Love this concept. You get a stylist matched to you who really gets to know you and your style. The best part is that everything actually FITS. I don't personally enjoy spending hours and hours browsing online only to find that half the stuff doesn't fit me, so this has been a great option. You get 5 days to try things on and decide if you want to purchase them. I've been pleasantly surprised by how well my stylist has gotten to know my style (granted I did give her a lot of detailed notes on what brands I like + how I like my clothes to fit). Having the items paired into outfits is great. The pieces are pretty high quality (you do get to select what price range you want the products to be). I like that it saves time and shipping is all paid for. Overall I've enjoyed using this service and wish I'd found out about it sooner.

I've really enjoyed my experience with Short Story. Working with my stylist has really boosted my confidence when it comes to finding clothes that actually fit my (slightly curvy) body. I've always struggled a bit when it comes to feeling good in my clothes. I was actually pretty shocked that most everything fit and my stylist got my style right. You have 5 days to try everything on and decide what you want to keep. They will send you reminders to return anything that you don't want to keep. Highly recommend this service for the shorter ladies out there.

Hate that pants NEVER fit me, finally found the place with Short Story! I've found some great denim that I'm not swimming in and some super cute blazers. My Stylist has been so thoughtful, I love seeing her notes in every box :) Can't wait for my next one!

I love the pieces I've received through Short Story and some of the pants I've received have been the best fitting pants I've ever tried on. I thought my stylist did a great job of putting together actual outfits and listening to my needs. I've given her a lot of feedback, and it's clear that she reads it each time. They have excellent customer service and always get back to me promptly. I highly recommend checking out Short Story if you're petite.

Customer service was ok, but the quality of clothing that they sent me was abysmal. I was visibly let down. I was annoyed that they even thought that what they sent was acceptable. I could easily go to any local store & buy better for less, but while still taking into consideration my color & size preferences. One thing that was wrong was that the sizes were approximately correct, but the cut of the clothing was such that it was kind of sloppy. I had debated posting a picture of myself in one of the outfits, because I look really bad in it, but I'm actually on PC anyway, and said pic is on my phone, so that might be a moot bad idea. I guess maybe it IS worth sticking with StitchFix's higher prices for higher quality. I did a really stupid thing with Short Story, and that was to not return the box in time. I have never done that before, I'm so annoyed with myself. Lesson learned.

I'm a petite woman with some curves and shopping for clothes is a huge pain in the butt. My pants are always past my ankles and the sleeves are more often than not too long for my arms. Somehow the fit is never right. Why are brands going crazy with their sizing these days? My friend recommended Short Story to me and I've been super happy with what they've sent me. You tell them your sizes, what you like, what you don't like. They send you PETITE pieces that actually look good on shorter ladies. They also take the time to read all the comments you leave unlike some of the other styling services. I found two new pairs of jeans (didn't have to get them hemmed!), a few tops, and one dress that I would have never picked out for myself but my husband said looks great on me. Love Short Story!
