Wantable is a personal styling service for women and men that delivers clothing and accessories based on your style profile. You'll initially pay a $20 styling fee to sign up for your first (or next) clothing box. Women can choose to receive items from Style, Active, and/or Sleep & Body. Men, on the other hand, have access to items from Men's Active Edit.
Each box includes seven items to try on from home. You'll have a week to decide what's right for you, or you can request a one-time extension of three days. The styling fee will be applied to any purchase made from your “Edit” and you'll receive 20% off your entire order if you keep five items.
This is one of today's best personal styling services for revamping your entire wardrobe!
This review is of Wantable Style Edit. Wantable also offers Active, Sleep & Body, and Men's Active Edit.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes).
One More Shopping Spree
If you've been with me from the start, you'll remember that Wantable gifted me $500 in credits for any of their Edits. So far, I've used $99 toward Style Edit, $0 toward Active Edit, and $52 toward Sleep & Body Edit. Since I had a whopping $349 in credits remaining, I decided to go all in—it was time to cash in for some dresses.
Here's a look at my experience with Wantable's Dresses Edit! (Spoiler alert: It went very well.)
How this Wantable Review Series Will Work
My Wantable reviews will follow a slightly different format than our standard recurring reviews for personal styling services. Here's what to expect:
- I'll try out each of Wantable's Edits for women, one box per review.
- I'll only show myself wearing the items I loved (or liked)—same as if I were shopping in person with friends or family.
- I'll then show what the other items looked like, just not on me.
- I'll continue getting restyled and reviewing new boxes until I use all of my credits.
Let's see what I got in my first Wantable Style Edit box!
My Wantable Dresses Edit Review
Here's a quick list of the dresses I fell in love with from this box!
- Diamond Crochet Button Maxi Dress in Green XL (14) - $129
- Printed V Strap Maxi Dress in Electric Blue XL (14) - $72
- The Reverie Dress in Sea Pine XL - $69
- The Reverie Dress in Blue Wave XL - $69
What I Loved
Diamond Crochet Button Maxi Dress in Green XL (14) - $129
The coverage of the shoulders and flowiness of the dress totally won me over. I had been wanting a dress I could wear to church that wasn't too showy and didn't require a cardigan or sweater to be paired with it.
This was exactly what I was looking for! And while I typically shy away from bolder prints, I thought the coloring was gorgeous, so I couldn't say no.
Printed V Strap Maxi Dress in Electric Blue XL (14) - $72
When I first saw this item in Wantable's Stream, I thought, "That's beautiful, but is it too bright?" I'll admit that I added and removed this item from my Requests a bunch of times before finally committing. But I'm so glad I gave it a try!
I really liked the length of the dress and the thickness of the straps. However, it was a bit low cut, so I threw on a tank underneath to make it a bit more modest.
The Reverie Dress in Sea Pine XL - $69
The Reverie Dress has become my favorite dress for momming—it literally works for anything. It's just one of those super comfortable and casual dresses you can throw on in a second and wear the whole day. Whether I'm taking my littles to the park, running to the store, cooking, or sleeping, it's my go-to dress.
The Reverie Dress in Blue Wave XL - $69
Same as above, I can't get enough of The Reverie Dress. While I like the previous color on me a bit better, I decided it would be best to get another version since I'll be wearing these all the time.
What Didn't Work
These were all very cute as well, but they just didn't look as flattering as the ones above. The blue striped maxi dress was slightly tight in the top, and the ruffles on the shoulders were awkward. The green floral midi dress was too bright for my tastes, while the navy and white maxi dress was slightly too dark. However, I can see why each of these are super popular, they just didn't work for me.
I Get Why They're Called Wantable—This Mom's Hooked!

As you can see, this box was a hit! I was thrilled to get several dresses that were fun and versatile. I had been wearing baggy clothing for way too long this postpartum season, and these items made me feel my best. Not only did I grab some sporty dresses for on the go, but I got some Sunday morning essentials too. At the end of the day, this mom came out on top.
Here's a recap on the items I collected with the help of Wantable:
- Topanga Printed Midi Dress in Mauve Mist Floral, Size: XL (14) - $99
- Textured Essentials Top in Heather Grey by PJ Salvage (XL) - $52
- Diamond Crochet Button Maxi Dress in Green XL (14) - $129
- Printed V Strap Maxi Dress in Electric Blue XL (14) - $72
- The Reverie Dress in Sea Pine XL - $69
- The Reverie Dress in Blue Wave XL - $69
