Have you been following along with our monthly round-up of favorite items from the past month's subscription boxes? After a bit of a hiatus, monthly favorites have recently returned, and this month we're revamping how they look. Rather than splitting our faves up into four categories published as separate posts, they're all going to be celebrated in one spot. (Right here!) So, you'll see beauty, fashion, kids, food, and more subscription box picks all in this one post.
We're also adding a sister post each month: it's called Forever Faves, which will be a monthly round-up, but we'll be looking beyond what arrived in boxes in the most recent month. It'll explore items that have stood the test of time, be it a few months or a few years. Be sure to check out December's Forever Faves post!

Jessica's Picks
The Item: Fried Egg and White Cheddar Burgers with Roasted Fingerling Potatoes
The Cost: starts at $39.96 +$9.99 shipping
From: Blue Apron
Why I love it: Blue Apron was onto something when they added these to their menu for the week of New Year's Eve. The full title is a mouthful, so I just called these beauties brunch burgers. And when we woke on New Years Day and finally rolled out of bed, I headed straight for the kitchen to make these. The roasted fingerling potatoes were tossed in a parmesan, green onion, and salsa verde mixture that had a delightful mix of fresh flavors, while the prime ground beef burgers were juicy and tasted so good when paired with the dijonaise, white cheddar, and fried egg on top. I am a huge fan of my Blue Apron subscription and we have ordered burgers from them before, but this was the best burger from them that I have ever had (and a top ten meal from them in general).
Jessica subscribes to Blue Apron on her own, but check out our Blue Apron details for more info about this meal kit subscription.
The Item: Erborian CC Dull Correct
The Cost: $24 for 15 mL
From: Skinstore Selects Limited Edition Skincare Box
Why I love it: This tinted CC cream makes my skin look a lot better than it should. Like, when I look back at selfies of when I used this, I questioned if the photos were taken with a filter even though it was just the front-facing camera on my iPhone. I can’t be bothered to apply a full face of foundation every day, but I can handle rubbing this in (make sure to blend out the edges, the first time I wore this I didn’t and my neck did not match my face) and adding a setting powder on top. It makes my skin look super polished without having to spend a lot of time on it, and I have fallen in love- so much so that I’ve already repurchased a backup.

The Item: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Cheat Lip Liner
The Cost: $24
From: Allure
Why I love it: This came in my personal Allure subscription and I could not be more thrilled about it. I really love Charlotte Tilbury’s products and have paid full price for them before (even though I try really, really hard not to) so to get a full-size lip liner in a shade I already use and love felt like an absolute massive win.

Nicole's Pick
The Item: High Rise Skinny Jeans in Starkey Wash by Madewell
The Cost: $128
From: Dia & Co
Why I love it: I have seen every plus-size blogger rave about Madewell jeans and I had to see if I should believe the hype. As Lizzo once said, “all the rumors are true!” These jeans are perfectly constructed and truly live up to the brand’s name. They have just the right amount of stretch– they look and feel great! I absolutely love the darker rinse too; these will go with everything and become a true wardrobe staple!

Becca's Picks
The Item: Winter Glow Cottage Kit
The Cost: $24.95
From: Little Passports: World Edition
Why I love it: My boys love crafts, and anything with the word “glow” in the title is sure to be a hit. This box utilized patterns from other countries, giving them a bit of a geography lesson while creating their little cottage. Looking darling under our Christmas tree, this little addition will be enjoyed for years to come.

The Item: Define High Waisted ⅞ Cheetah Leggings
The Cost: $69.95
From: Fabletics
Why I love it: I am legging obsessed, and though I find black leggings to be the most versatile, I just can’t resist a fun pattern, and when this cheetah version showed up under my outfit picks, I just had to order. Because it came as a set, both the legging and bra were heavily discounted, which is great for a thrifty gal like myself!

The Item: Exfoliating Dual Texture Scrubber
The Cost: $5.00
From: Walmart Self-Care Limited Edition Beauty Box
Why I love it: My dry winter skin is looking dull and rough, so a little exfoliating paired with a good lotion has revived it to almost pre-winter status. This particular scrubby pad has a little handle on the back to easily use on your body, though because it is only mildly abrasive, I also used it on my face. I felt this manual version worked better than some high-tech ones, and is definitely more budget-friendly.

The Item: The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox
The Cost: $14.49
From: Book of the Month
Why I love it: There’s nothing better than curling up by the fire with a cheesy holiday romance in the winter and I love that Book of the Month gave me that option. December is always so busy and hectic, but this easy read was the perfect way to escape it all for just a little while. It was a classic twin switcheroo story, but not one that was overdone. It may have been a bit predictable at times, but overall, it was enjoyable and one that I would recommend for a light read if you want something Christmas-themed!

The Item: Cassia Hoodie by Sovereign Code
The Cost: $59, or $28 through StitchFix
From: StitchFix Kids Girls
Why I love it: My daughter has been wearing this jacket non-stop. (As you’ve probably seen in our reviews!) She loves the soft feel of the fuzzy fabric and it has provided the perfect amount of warmth for heading out when paired with a scarf and hat. She loves that it has a built-in hood and it’s cozy enough that she wears it around the house, too. I think this would definitely be her favorite kid's discovery this month!

The Item: Herbal Eye Balm by Laguna Herbals
The Cost: $60
From: Essentials Crate
Why I love it: This herbal eye balm is nice and light, providing just the right coverage for under my eyes before applying my concealer. It is hydrating and it smells so lovely and herbal with just a hint of rose. It also works so well to remove eye makeup gently without being too greasy for a contact-wearer like me. I have been incorporating this into my daily routine and so far I have been loving it. It’s great for these winter months when my skin tends to get dry, so hopefully, with continued use, my under-eyes will stay nice and hydrated!

Christen's Picks
The Item: TokyoMilk Radiant Gem Parfum
The Cost: $42
From: Margot Elena Discovery Box
Why I love it: I love Margot Elena perfumes, particularly TokyoMilk ones. They’re so complex and unique! I’ve never been much of a perfume-wearer, but since beginning to receive them through this subscription I often find myself spritzing some on just to set the day off right!

The Item: Upright Go 2 Posture Trainer
The Cost: $79.95 (on sale for $63.95)
From: BREO BOX
Why I love it: This gadget is so cool and something I really needed. It coordinates with a free app to help remind you to sit upright by gently vibrating when it senses you slouching. You start by entering some basic info about yourself and it creates a 2-week plan that involves increasing daily training goals (mine started with 6 minutes and went up to 21). The goal is to have a new habit in the end!

Sanna's Pick

Image via Sakara.
The Item: Sakara Detox Water Drops
The Cost: $39
From: Sakara
Why I love it: I’m obsessed with these detoxifying chlorophyll drops and look forward to my nightly tall glass of what I’m calling pond water. Seriously, the drops turn your water a terrifying deep green color and it tastes like a pond as well. But I love it! You only get a sample size in your Sakara meal delivery but they’re enough to last you a week or more. I’m definitely purchasing these bottles when I pause my meal subscription.
Sanna subscribes to Sakara on her own, but check out our details page here. See more reviews by Sanna!
Julie's Pick
The Cost: $19.95 (currently sold out - find more sizes here)
From: Cairn “Packable Performance” Box
Why I love it: Technically, this cute mini-towel arrived in the November 2021 Cairn “Packable Performance” box, but since I received the box so late in the month, I didn’t get a chance to include this in the November Monthly Favorites. But this little towel deserves some love! While it’s not a big beach towel, it IS the perfect size to keep handy for wiping down my surfboard after a session or wrapping my hair up for the drive home. It’s so handy! (Pun not intended but appreciated) I’m already eyeing the changing ponchos from Nomadix – I love the patterns and this would be the perfect thing to wrap myself in for a little extra warmth after a winter surf day.

Naomi's Picks
The Item: SKIN RESEARCH LABS NEUREFLECTION COMPLEXION PERFECTING POLISH
The Cost: $52.00
From: GlossyBox
Why I love it: I absolutely adore how superfine the exfoliator in this polish is. Every time I use it, it leaves my complexion looking clearer and brighter. It delicately sloughs off the dead skin cells, oil, and grime from the surface of my skin until the only thing left is baby soft, smooth skin. While it does smell a bit like paste, the reward is definitely worth it!

The item: Pusheen Box Cozy Gripper Slipper Socks
The cost: Exclusive to subscription
From: Pusheen Box
Why I love it: These slipper socks are not just adorable but also they do an awesome job of keeping my feet nice and toasty. They are perfect for the chillier months. The socks are the perfect thickness because they provide warmth while feeling lightweight and not at all bulky. The furry white texture around the top of each sock is key to making me feel extra cozy, and I love it. I very much appreciate the grips on the soles as well. On the type of floor I have in my house, socks can sometimes be a bit of a deathtrap… But thanks to the grips on these, I haven’t had any issues.

Abby's Pick
The Item: Earth Harbor Balancing Gel Hydrator
The Cost: $28
From: Kinder Beauty Box
Why I love it: Not only do I thoroughly enjoy applying this product but just looking at it sparks so much joy. I am burdened with dry skin, so winter is extra hard on my complexion. It is difficult finding the right textures and mixing the right products to find happiness for my face, but adding this step to my routine has really been the cherry on top. Botanical hyaluronic acid and marine probiotics put in that extra kick of hydration that my skin really, really needed.
