Stitch Fix Kids is a personal styling service for kids from Stitch Fix. After filling out a survey, a stylist will pick items based on your preferences. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. If you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all items, you also get a 25% discount!) Stitch Fix Kids offers sizes 2T-14.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this Fix. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we conduct reviews.)

First Impressions

When I saw the items in my daughter's Fix, I knew there would be a lot of favorites this month! I also realized that I never actually updated her shoe size (again) because my app needed updating and I totally forgot, so I knew the shoes probably wouldn't fit her, but otherwise, it looked like a pretty great selection of items!

What's Inside

This is the invoice that was sent in the Fix. It provides specifics on the brand, size, and price of each item. They also give instructions at the bottom for how to check out and either purchase or return your items in the pre-paid postmarked envelope they provide. The items for my daughter came to a total of $260, but with the 25% discount (which they take off before they deduct the $20) and the $20 credit, our total drops down to $175. That's a savings of $85 on this Fix.

This is the included style sheet, which features pictures of all the clothing and a note from her stylist, Alexis P. who is pretty great!

The High Waisted Brushed Leggings by RUMI + RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $18

First up, we have this pair of black leggings that are super soft and have a marled look to them. They are pretty basic; soft and comfortable with an average thickness. They fit her great and she loved how comfortable they were.

Cassia Hoodie by Sovereign Code, Size 8- Cost to Keep $28

She decided to pair her leggings with this super soft fluffy jacket that she loved. It is super cozy and warm with a nice lined hood. It is a great fit on her and works perfectly as a warmer outer layer. It's much cuter on her than I thought it would be. She did mention that she wished it had pockets, though!

The High Waisted Brushed Legging by RUMI + RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $18

These leggings are the same as the first pair she received, but this time we have a fun camo pattern in some nice muted colors. Camo is not usually our style, but somehow these are cute and she liked them. Especially paired with the next top.

The Brushed Ruffle Top by Bailey Lane, Size M- Cost to Keep $20

This muted pink top paired nicely with the leggings and she loves the adorable sequin deer face. The little peplum skirt at the bottom is a nice touch, too. It's a great winter top! It's comfortable and warm with a little bit of room to grow, too.

The Ruched Active Jogger by Runway, Size M - Cost to Keep $24

These active joggers are so soft, comfortable, and unique with the ruching at the bottom. I really want these in my size. They aren't super thick, but they are slightly baggy with a drawstring waist and pockets. They fit her really well, although a bit baggy, but I think that means they would be a good choice to take her all the way through spring.

The Brushed Pocket Hoodie by RUMI +RYDER, Size M - Cost to Keep $24

The joggers, while more casual, actually paired really nicely with this adorable top. She loved that they matched and she loves that the top has both a front pocket and a hood. I love the floral details! This is one of those unique pieces that I love to find in her fixes!

Felicitee Denim Skort by Hippie Girl, Size 8- Cost to Keep $26

I don't know why, but this little white denim skirt was so cute to me! While I cringe at the idea of her wearing white (she has inherited my messy genes), I think it's so cute and another unique item. It has shorts underneath and an adjustable waist so it's a good fit on her.

Riana Tie Front Woven Top by Love Glam Girl, Size M - Cost to Keep $24

I don't think I like this top paired with the skirt because they are just too grown up together, but this top is really cute and a great color. She can wear it off her shoulders or on and it has a little tie at the waist. I think this would be so cute with some jean shorts in the summer!

Stenia Long SLeeve Smocked Maxi Dress by Social Academy, Size 8 - Cost to Keep $28

This dress is so unique and fun! It is actually very modest and sweet with the patchwork look and I love the color scheme. She absolutely loved this dress and you can tell she felt so pretty in it. It is a bit big on her, but I think that with a cute little belt at the waist, it would have a more fitted look and be even cuter! It's a soft, stretchy material that isn't too fancy, but it's comfortable for her and the pattern dresses it up a bit.

Yulla Boot by DV by Dolce Vita, Size 3Y - Cost to Keep $50

I really did love these shoes that they sent. They are so fun with the shimmery rose gold color accented by the off-white sherpa fur. They are also a pretty substantial pair of shoes with a nice thick tread so they would be great for winter, but I don't think I could ever justify spending $50 on shoes for this girl knowing the way her feet grow! That being said, I wasn't too disappointed when we realized they didn't fit her.

Key Takeaways

Stitch Fix Kids delivers cute, stylish clothing right to your door and they make it so easy to send back what you don't want using the prepaid envelope they provide. This month felt like a pretty pricey fix, but everything they sent was so cute and fit her well. She was happy to try it all on and we found some good staple pieces in here along with some items that she truly loved. It was a good mix overall!

I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kids; 1 girl and 3 boys. While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. We now have 4 chickens and a rabbit and my sourdough starter is going strong! I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!

I would love both hoodies and the boots, in my size. Thanks! Lol.

She is getting so tall! Everything looked adorable on her, as usual!
