We know you love our monthly favorites posts so we're doing a monthly post highlighting our favorite BEAUTY discoveries from subscription boxes! Here are our favorite skincare, green beauty, and makeup items from the past month:

Megan's Favorite:

The Item: Monastery XX Rose Glycolic Gel

The Cost: $74.00

From: Boxwalla Beauty

Why I love it: This formula provides a gentle chemical exfoliation and smells like roses! I love how it feels on my face AND how pretty it looks on my vanity, too.

Taryn's Favorite:

The Item: Cream Concealer by Evio Beauty

The Cost: $16

From: The Beauty Box by Bombay & Cedar

Why I love it: By far my favorite product from April was the Evio Beauty Cream Concealer! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this product. This has medium coverage, but you can really build with it. I think what I love the most about this concealer is that it is super creamy so I feel this amazing hydration while being left with a dewy glow. I love having glowing skin and if my makeup can give me that then I am here for it! I am currently using this under my eyes and in areas where I have a bit more redness or a blemish prior to putting on my foundation. However, I know that in the summer this concealer will be all I need once I have a bit of a tan for a quick makeup look that I know will last me all day. I never thought I could love a makeup product as much as I love this little concealer!

Ragan's Favorite:

The Item: Crazy for Oud by Mancera

The Cost: Buy 120 mL for $180

From: LUXSB Perfume

Why I love it: This one hits a lot of my favorite notes: base notes include woody notes, amber, vanilla, oakmoss, and white musk; mid notes include rose, magnolia, and violet, as well as tiramisu and patchouli; top notes include bergamot, oud, and leather. This isn't too floral and I think the tiramisu adds a bit of sweetness and rum that go well with the top notes. This is a unisex fragrance, which tends to be my preference, and is something I would've picked on my own based on the description.

Brandi's Favorite:

The Item: Rosey B Organic Glow Oil by JD Bath Co, 1 oz.

The Cost: Retail Value $25.00

From: Ecocentric Mom

ACTIVE DEAL: Save $5 off your subscription!
CODE: MSA5

Why I love it: This rose oil is so pretty with real rose petals and even bits of rose quartz inside the glass bottle. Not only does it look pretty sitting on my shelf, but the blend of organic sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, lavender, evening primrose, rosehip, and geranium smell so lovely. I apply a few drops at night and I wake up to soft, hydrated skin. This oil can also help reduce inflammation and can be used on your body as well!

Abby's Favorite:

The Item: hello bpa-free toothbrush

The Cost: Estimated Value $3.50 (Buy 2 for $6.99)

From: Target Beauty Box

Why I love it: I have always used toothbrushes with extra soft bristles because I am a sensitive gal, so I was so happy to receive a brush that is on par with my usual picks. The head of this brush is really small so it can reach every nook of your mouth, and the charcoal bristles fade over a 3 month period reminding you to replace it when the color is gone. Also, I enjoy the sleek look and feel of this toothbrush; there is something very cool about an all-black brush.

Hi there, I'm Christen. I am all sorts of things:

🌳 a writer who loves to convey feeling

🌲 a mother who wants to have just as much fun as my kids do

🌳 an outdoors-lover who's achieved #1000hoursoutside with my family

🌲 a low-maintenance self-carer

🌳 a general hungry person with an unstoppable sweet tooth

You'll find me collecting stationery and squirreling away stickers, riding bikes and swimming with my family, creating outfits in colors and silhouettes that make me feel amazing, wearing big earrings, drinking beer and asking my husband to feed me harmonies to sing, taking my vitamins, living for dancing to live music, roping everyone into a craft, being human and vulnerable, and celebrating the phenomenon of being alive.

...and doing it all with energy, delight, and jokes along the way.

I love that toothbrush from Target too! My daughter took the one from the first box I ordered, so I purchased a second. I love the tiny head for getting to the back of my molars. I will definitely look for these at Target.

I second that deodorant.l got the Citrus one in Birchbox this month. Previously the only other natural one l have found that works is the Agent Natuer and it’s about 20$ a pop so this is a great less pricy alternative. I was unsure of the scent of Marne’s fav above so l tried one of the variety packs from the FFF sale.

My favorite product this month was the iconic London illuminator drops from boxycharm. I am over 50, and a lot of the chunky glittery highlighters just don’t work for me. They accentuate my creases. These drops, though! I use one drop and pat it along each cheekbone over my blush, and it melts into my skin like a dream, leaving behind actual glowiness, not glitter. I may never use another highlighter again, and with only one drop at a time, I may not have to worry about that haha.

Oh my gosh, June, the way you describe these drops make them seem like a DREAM! Sounds like an amazing product, thanks for sharing your fave!

FYI if anyone is interested: The deodorant that Marne mentioned is currently in the Fabfitfun add-on sale for $7. There’s also a trio of sample sized tubes in various scents for $14.
