Why I love it: This has been my new go-to lip for the day! The color is very "your lips but better" for me and works with any makeup look I do with my eyes. The formula seems a little sticky at first, but to me, it really feels like it's just "grippy" and sticking to my lips well. It lasts for hours, and I find myself really digging the color throughout the day. It wears off evenly, too, with the pigment lasting longer than the hydration.

Why I love it: I’ve been wearing this top nonstop, and I’ve gotten so many compliments! The sweater material is so soft, and the delicate suede belt and asymmetrical front make this piece totally unique to anything I own. I also really like the sleeveless turtleneck style; the turtleneck keeps you warm while having no sleeves allows you to layer up with a cardigan or jacket easily.

Why I love it: Is it cheating to choose an entire box? Perhaps. But honestly, this box deserves it. There must have been some kind of divine intervention at play when the team at Yogi Surprise curated this October box to work perfectly for what I have been going through. I had major surgery in the middle of October, and literally, every single item in this box helped me tremendously in my post-op recovery. The candle has supplied a lovely invigorating scent, the Yu-Be moisturizing cream helped me out with some seriously dry skin post all of the anti-bacterial body wash I had to use, and the Ursa Major wipes were so refreshing to use the morning after a long night of sweat and pain. Once I was home from the hospital, the rosehip oil and handheld massage helped to really ease some of the aches and pains throughout my body, and the chocolate was perfect for bribing my mom when I wanted her to rub my lower back. Finally, now that I am feeling much better, the yoga socks have helped to make sure I don’t lose my balance while I slowly do some yoga videos and get back into shape. I honestly cannot remember the last time I used every single item in a subscription box so thoroughly, but I am very grateful that this box came when it did!

Why I love it: This super-soft, long-sleeved, cropped hoodie was the autumn staple I didn’t know I needed! I love the hood, and I was really surprised at how much I adored its cropped silhouette. The inner “fluffiness” will likely wash down over time, but it’s still nice and warm on its own while being an awesome layer. The sleeves come down pleasingly over my hands, and the Ariel-meets-the-macabre vibe is both perfect for my love of mermaids and my obsession with Halloween.

I also surprised myself with how much I loved the terracotta blush colorway - I’ve been wearing the scarf I made with this yarn all the time this past month!

My kids loved the “Birds” theme in the October box – especially the bird mask. I enjoyed seeing them play together and pretend to run like a kiwi, soar like an eagle, peck like a woodpecker and waddle like a duck!

Why I love it: This apple and mint lip scrub exfoliated my lips and left them soft. The scrub is granular in texture which shed the dead skin from my lips. The lip polish has an apple aroma. I have been using this lip polish on a regular basis to keep my pout smooth, soft, and to repair my lips during the cold weather season.

Why I love it: I have been using this mug every morning for my coffee since I received this! I can fill it up and since it is so big (20 oz!) it usually stays warm just a bit longer than my other mugs. I love the matte black finish and that it can go in the dishwasher. My favorite part of this mug though is the phrase, “Trick or Treat Yo’ Self.” I think that Donna and Tom from Parks & Rec would approve! I’m not sure I want to put this away when it comes time to pack up the Halloween décor!
