Now, on to the items!

Miss de Gaspe – Hydrate & Glow: Hydrating & Illuminating Dry Mask - Value $20?

(I'm not sure how to determine the value for this mask. It's a full-size mask that was designed exclusively for BeautyFix. It looks identical to the other full-size masks Miss de Gaspe sells for $32 each, except this one is good for 2 uses, while the $32 ones are good for 3-5 uses. So I'm estimating $20.)

If you've ever pulled a sheet mask out of a sleeve and kind of hating the cold, goopy feeling of it, dry masks are the answer! (I still love my regular sheet masks, but this is such a nice alternative!)

You look it around your ears to stay in place, massage it a bit, then let it stay on for 15 minutes to do its thing, then remove. When I removed it, I could tell my skin was a little more hydrated, plump, and looked dewy. (Good to know - this mask is reusable. Store it in the bag and you can use it again one additional time.)

TULA Skincare Dual- Phase Skin Reviving Treatment Pad – 1 pad Value $5.20

I really like the concept behind these pads. You slip your middle finger and index finger into the pad opening, apply the serum side first, then follow with the textured side for exfoliation. The only thing I didn’t like about these, was the material choice. As soon as I started applying it to my skin, the cotton from the pad started forming little cotton balls all over my face! That issue aside, the formula was great.

Vichy Purete Thermale 3-in-1 One Step Cleanser Sensitive Skin – 100ml Value $9.75

This is a gentle, gel cleanser with minimal lather. It also works well to remove most makeup (I still used makeup wipes before using this), and I was especially impressed that it didn't strip my skin of oils at all.

Sanitas Skincare Lemon Cream Scrub – 1 oz Value $8

OMG - this is my favorite product in the box. (And I really like this box, so that's saying something.) First, the Santitas brand is ingredient-conscious. (All Sanitas products are cruelty-free and contain no parabens, phthalates, dyes, harsh preservatives or gluten.)

Next, this scent! If you love citrus/lemon scents like I do, I think you are going to be thrilled. It's such a bright and refreshing fragrance! And the exfoliant is such a fine particle - it didn't irritate my skin at all, and left it feeling so smooth. (You can use this up to 3 times a week.)

Glytone Ultra Softening Heel and Elbow Cream – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $54

Just a heads up on this product. This is not a regular cream/ointment - you actually have to wash it off after 15 minutes!

Gently massage into dry, calloused areas such as the heels and elbows or as directed. On elbows, leave on for 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm water. If tolerable after initial application of 10-15 minutes, gradually increase time, up to 30 minutes. Not to be used on face.

If you're wondering why you have to wash it off, it's made with Glycolic acid to gently exfoliate dead skin cells. It minimally irritated my skin for the first minute, but then I forgot I had it on. It definitely delivers on the soft skin promise - if you're not a BabyFoot fan, this is a great alternative for feet/heels!

Rene Furterer Karite Nutri Mask – FULL SIZE! Value $36

I recently changed hair color, so this mask came at the perfect time! It smells great, and I love that you only have to wear it for 2-5 minutes before you rinse! (I'm so impatient when it comes to any type of mask!) This one is designed for dry, damaged hair, and it helped make my hair feel softer and smoother post color-change. (And I used a small amount, but I didn't have any issues with greasiness the next day.)

Rituals Dao Foaming Shower Gel – 50 ml Value $7.50

I really like the Rituals Foaming Shower Gels, so I was happy to see this in the box. If you aren’t familiar with this product, it’s a gel that turns into a lathery foam once it makes contact with water. This scent is a white lotus blend.

Alterna Caviar Dry Oil Mist – 25 ml Value $5.78

Another perfectly timed hair product! And I love the Alterna brand! (Great scents + ingredient-conscious formulas.) This dry oil smells amazing, and the mist is fine enough that you can apply it directly to your hair for even coverage. It adds shine and softness - and no greasy finish. (My only recommendation is to apply this more to the ends of your hair and not the roots.)

TOCCA Cleopatra Eau de Parfum - 1.5 ml Value $2.16

This scent is a blend of grapefruit, vanilla, and jasmine. But unlike a lot of florals, I didn't find this one to be very sweet.

Verdict: This box has a value of over $140! That's an incredible value for a $24.95 box! I think this is one of BeautyFix's best boxes of the year. Great products, great sizes, and I discovered a few new favorites, too.

they have this exact box available as the “fall in love with seasonal favorites” for the normal box price of $25. I just bought two as every single item in this box is ones I will use. and this box clocks with 2 full size products, and 3 deluxe size products.

Loved this box! I finally am dipping into subscriptions and got Sephora Play, Olfactif, and BeautyFix, and this is my favorite so far! I love the products and they were fun to try (esp the hair oil because I love dry oil for my hair and the face polish because I’m all about exfoliation). So much fun play with and my November box just arrived!

Has anyone figured out how to do a gift subscription if you have a subscription yourself? This is my favorite Subscription Box and I would like to get a subscription for my daughter who is an aesthetician.

Natalie hull

Just order it and change the shipping address. It’s just another sub they don’t call it a gift. I got a sub for mom a couple months ago.

Rosemary

I’m impressed with how fast I received October’s BeautyFix. I ordered on October 25 and received it November 1. Yay!

Same here! I finally caved in and subbed on 26th and just got it in my mailbox today. I am very impressed with my first box!

UPDATE: just got an email from dermstore that my November box is shipped!!! yayy

Rosemary

Does anyone know when the subscriptions are open for BF? I can’t seem to subscribe yet, and it is November 1st.

Reply ButtonReply

Gwen

I was disappointed as well to not be able to subscribe to ANYTHING on the Dermstore site – no matter what subscription option I selected, it didn’t allow me to subscribe. I wonder if Dermstore is aware of this issue?

Reply ButtonReply

Beth

When I first subscribed I had to wait for it to open up for new people. I think it was around the 5th or 6th of that month.

Leah

After half an hour going back and forth on whether I should get it, I went in to purchase, and…

SOLD OUT!!!!

If anyone wants to swap: I would like the heel cream, the hair mask, the dry mask, and the Rituals. (Click on my name for my swap profile.)

Jackie

Is today the last day to get this box?

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Yes

Reply ButtonReply

Cynthia

Possibly, the next box is usually available early in the month. If you want October’s box, I’d order asap to make sure.

I’m intrigued by the Glytone cream. I have psoriasis on my elbows and knees; would it be a bad idea to put it on those areas?

Reply ButtonReply

Christina

I don’t know for certain, but my uneducated guess would be a no. I stupidly rubbed the leftovers into my hands the first time I used it and it burned like crazy! Totally my own fault. But I think this is best for NON sensitive areas like heels.

Claire

All I can say about Beautyfix is that it is the only box that far exceeds the price of what we pay. I am a subscriber for life!

Reply ButtonReply

Jana

Yep – me too! So much value in the box and I usually use Everything! I have enough palettes and lipsticks to last a lifetime, but skincare I always need! Sometimes, such unexpected things like the Glytone. I really needed that – especially now that I won’t be getting Pedi’s in the winter. I didn’t know I would like Thermal Water. Just so many revelations!

Claire

I am on a Beauty Box fast right now, but BF never ceases to amaze me. So I will be resubscrib ing. Of all my beauty boxes Beauty Fix is most definitely one to hold on to.

Reply ButtonReply

Does Beautyfix normally come out with a Black Friday or Christmas deal? I’m debating whether to just go ahead and sign up now or in November. Thanks in advance for your help.

Reply ButtonReply

Claire

As far as I am concerned Beautfix is a monthly that far exceeds its’ price, no matter when.

Reply ButtonReply

Amanda

Last year I remember getting a 3 for 1 deal ($35). That was my amazing introduction to BeautyFix.

Reply ButtonReply

Danielle

Last year they had a double box and it was pretty great. It’s really easy to unsubscribe and resubscribe in your account though, in case you want to grab October before it’s gone.

*on black Friday

Allison

I really don’t like this new “Featured” format. Reviews post sequentially, and that’s how most people read them. Having a post that keeps floating up to the top throws me off.

Reply ButtonReply

Danielle

I agree, it throws off the “flow” of the page for me too. Maybe in a different column?

Reply ButtonReply

Shannon

It throws me off as well. I usually scroll down until I recognize a review I’ve already read. I’ve been missing a lot of new posts because of this.

Missy

I agree it has certainly thrown me off quite a few times!

Kristin

It throws me off too I’ve missed a lot of posts because I thought there was nothing new posted.

Reply ButtonReply

Tara

I’m pretty sure it’s a paid sponsor so I don’t mind. MSA has to be able to make money or this site doesn’t exist.

Reply ButtonReply

Allison

MSA makes money in several ways. Read the article Forbes did on Liz. I have no problem with it. In fact, I appreciate their transparency and impartial reviews of boxes they get for free.

If this is how they want to handle sponsors from now on, I will get used to it. I just think it’s clunky.

jill

yes. I thought it was a glitch.

Reply ButtonReply

Barbie

Me too! Or maybe MSA REALLY LOVED this box! LOL

Amber

I think it’s nice that there are popular posts that we can revisit easily, to continue comment conversations or to be a reminder. It shows up in a different color, so it’s not confusing with new posts.

Reply ButtonReply

Allison

Identifying the Featured posts with a different color was a nice touch. But maybe MSA could localize the Featured’s in a different list than the current feeds.

I sub to BF, and like to read the reviews (even though I already know what’s in it). But still I’m getting tired of seeing the same post over and over.

I though November box would show up today……

I love the oil in November’s box. It a hg item for me. I have dry skin & this moisturizes and leaves my skin soft and with a subtle glow. It’s lightweight and not at all greasy

Has anyone had issues receiving a refund from Dermstore for this box? I ordered the September box on 30 Sept, and they unilaterally cancelled my order as my shipping address was a freight forwarding address. They didn’t inform me of the problem or give me an opportunity to change the address (I had to email them to follow up, which really annoyed me). It is now almost a month later and they still haven’t refunded the money (they are blaming the bank). I’ve been emailing them to demand a refund, to no avail (they ended up blocking my email address). I’ll be writing off the $21 to ‘school of life’ fees I guess, and I’ll be sticking to Ipsy and boxycharm.

Sarah

Waiting on those November spoilers!

Reply ButtonReply

Natalie

Me too!!! Should of been last weekend. What’s going on?? One of things I love is knowing what will be in the box before BILLING. I don’t buy what I don’t want. I do however want almost every month. Even last month I wasn’t sure about the hair mask and softening cream but I’m very glad I decided to buy. WHERE are the spoilers I’m going nutz

Reply ButtonReply

Lola

I absolutely love this box! Cannot wait to try Rene Furterer as I saw Lisa Elridge raved about a hair mask from this brand. Never tried Sanitas but heard good stuff. Amazing value for the price. I hope November is just as good 🤞

Reply ButtonReply

Jana

I have used the Rene Furterer hair mask twice and it is truly wonderful!

Sienna

In regards to the Tula pad, I believe the cotton bits are supposed to come off. It says in the instructions that as you rub the white side on your face, it disperses “activating serum and white plant fibers”. Not sure what benefit that serves – exfoliation, maybe?

Reply ButtonReply

Peppo1

I don’t understand how this works, but it was so relaxing that I fell asleep. Somehow it gives the most amazing softness to your face.

Reply ButtonReply

Cai

BeautyFIX has been one of my fav boxes for awhile, but I unsubbed after I saw the spoilers for this one.
I totally plan on re-subbing but this box really didn’t speak to me and I get a few others so I’m glad to have saved the $25, even though this box, like all BF boxes in my experiences, has a great value to cost ratio.
I have a liiiiiittle bit of Fomo, but I’ll survive!

Reply ButtonReply

Coco

I subscribed after this review too. The full-size Glytone and hair mask are too good to pass up, and the rest of the items are just great extras IMO. I love Rituals foaming gels. I debated whether to subscribe or just get a one-time purchase, but for just $15 more than a one-time purchase, I’ll get the November box too. Definitely the better deal. Then I can unsubscribe if I want.

Julie

Just FYI, instructions for the Vichy product. There is no English version on the container but if you follow the link. It’s not to be used with water. Just wipe away. I copied and pasted for you.
I love this product I did what Liz said the first time too.no water massage and wipe. This is my only subscription box now I love my beauty fix.waiting for November spoiler.

How to Use
Apply to face and eye area with your fingertips. Massage lightly and wipe away (with cotton wool).

Rachel

Wow I didn’t realize this! Thanks for posting this I’m looking forward to trying it without water

Your welcome it’s awesome and sells for 19.99 at Walgreens so totally worth it.

tammy g.

i might join, but I waiting to see what is in the November box first, I don’t like the October box….do you know when the November box will show up?…

Reply ButtonReply

Jamie

Also waiting for NOV spoilers! Normally there are already a few spoilers out by now, wonder what’s going on. Maybe it’s not as good so they’re waiting til last minute? 😉 But I hope not, it’s been amazing last few months especially.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

No, my understanding is that the spoiler schedule depends on when the box will be for sale. We should have the first spoiler Monday. Hope that helps! (Next week is going to be such a super spoiler week!)

MJ

Amazing box, love the Glytone!!!

MicheleDeG

I ordered after reading your review. I saw the Sanitas on the swap board and it got my attention. I love lemon scents. I very excited to try the Glytone on my elbows, knees, and feet. The value is great for this month’s box!

Reply ButtonReply

Amanda

This is such a great box I’m probably going to grab a 2nd one (great for xmas gifts!).
They also have a limited edition box available for 39.99, but this month’s beautyfix is so good I’d rather have 2 of them.
