Now, on to the items!

SkinRepublic Bubble Purifying + Charcoal Face Sheet Mask - Retail Value $7.99

On the how-much-does-this-scare-your-husband-if-you-don't-warn-him-you're-wearing-a-sheet-mask scale, this clocks in at a 10! As soon as you put it on, it begins to bubble foam both on the inside and the outside of the mask - hence, the new level of sheet mask fright.

It's designed to help clean pores, and it has the added benefit of a little moisturization, too. Plus I enjoyed the sound of the bubbles while I was wearing it!

AVANT RNA Radical Firmness Anti Aging Serum – 5 ml Value $27

Wow, this is a pricey skincare line! (The full-size 1 oz version retails for $162.) It's designed to "combat signs of aging from wrinkles to sagging skin and brown spots, leaving you with visibly firmer and healthier skin." It has a light scent, (cucumber maybe?), absorbs quickly, was gentle on my skin, and is OK to use both day and night. The sample is probably too small to see definite results, but it should last for about a week.

This Works In Transit Camera Closeup – 20 ml Value $27.50

This is half the size of the full-size version! This product is designed to be a primer, mask, and moisturizer in one. I like the idea of combining the moisturizer and primer step in my morning routine and I LOVE the scent! I'm so happy to have more of this primer!

Sleek Contour Palette in Medium - FULL SIZE! Estimated Value $12?

(I couldn't find this exact palette online, so I'm estimating the value based on similar palettes.)

The bronzer shade is matte, and the highlighter has a subtle shimmer.

I was impressed with the pigment on these (a little goes a long way), and they were relatively easy to blend. (Swatched in lower photo.)

EYEKO Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $22

This eyeliner is waterproof and the felt tip marker makes it super easy to apply a straight line, too. The pigment is excellent, too.

Here it is swatched beneath the contouring kit:

Spotlight Teeth White Strips – 4 pieces Value $8.07

These are made with hydrogen peroxide, were gentle on my teeth, and I think I could see a difference in whitening after using them.

And this box includes the latest issue of  Elle UK Magazine:

Value $5

I love getting this mini mag with the box - it's a fun extra, and the size is great for throwing in your purse, too.

The Verdict: This month's box has a value of about $104.56 not counting the magazine. I think that's great for a $19 beauty box shipped from overseas! (And you can get the $16 a box annual price without having to pay the full amount up front, too.) Plus, great sizes of products this month!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? As of publication, yes!.  (This page will let you know what box is currently available.)

Coupon – No coupons at this time.

Value Breakdown: At $19 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Sheet Mask: $1.45
  • Serum: $4.90
  • Primer: $5.00
  • Contour Kit: $2.18
  • Eyeliner: $4.00
  • White Strips: $1.47

Every so often a sub has a flop. This would be one that I consider a flop. I don’t use teeth strips. Don’t need a black liner. The quality of the palette itself feels great but I will gift this item. So really only three out of six items I will use. However I feel that I have only had two flop boxes out of over a two year sub so not too bad. It happens.

I cancelled my subscription, they pulled a fast one and charged me and sent me this awful box a month after I cancelled.

Be careful if you try to cancel. They told me I could return the box after it reaches me and that was WAY before it shipped.

This box was just plain BAD. No amount of reviewing it could possibly turn it around.

For me, it was bad enough to cancel so I could avoid receiving it.

I hear you! Nothing this month spoke to me. So sick of seeing those eyeko eyeliners.

Thanks so much for your review on this box, Liz! I always feel better about a box that I’m so-so about after your review.

I wouldnt mind receiving this box. So far I’ve paid for theee boxes and actually received one. Don’t think the shipping is very reliable.

I liked the This Works primer. Believe it or not, I actually wanted a felt-tipped eyeliner. But the bottle of the Avant serum was mostly air, I’m too fair for the contour palette, and hydrogen peroxide is not recommended for whitening teeth (several studies show that it can degrade enamel). This box was a flop to me.

Liz, I like the serum but it is too small of a size to see results. I haven’t tried the mask yet. I am waiting for the right time to frighten the family thanks to the review.

Underwhelming box…

Uh this box would’ve been nice until I saw the Eyeko eyeliner.

That contour palette was absolutely awful on my fair skin. Totally unusable!

I have fair skin and if you use a light hand with the bronzer and tap off the product on your hand first (which is how I always use bronzer anyway, since I don’t like a very bronzed look), it works fine. I used it today, plus used both shades on my eyes, and got a really nice natural overall look.

As an Eyeshadow maybe?

Isn’t it true that a product has to say it’s safe for use in the eye area? I’d be afraid to use a low priced highlighter and bronzer on my eyes… It likely hasn’t been tested for eyelid use.

The sleek contour palette is nice but highlighter is not great, I bought it about 4 years ago when I first got into makeup. Definitely not $12 when I bought it, more like $5 off Amazon
