Nicely Noted January 2018 Review

There’s a brief intro note from Nicely Noted’s founder, Perry. And there’s an info card with details on each maker:

Now, on to the cards!

Good Vibes by Anemone Letterpress – Retail Value $5

This card features gold holographic foil in a groovy font – I love everything about it!

Eyeballs by The Good Twin – Retail Value $5

This card features copper foil print with eyeballs that kinda creep me out. I have a friend who feels the opposite way about eye illustrations, though, so I’ll be sending this card to her! (Also, I recommend checking out their shop – I’m loving this Birthday card!)

Never Too Much Cake by Iron Curtain Press – Value $5

I love the pale neon colors of this card, and I always need birthday cards!

Postage Stamps – Retail Value $1.50

Each Nicely Noted package also comes with stamps to mail your letters! This is a small but nice touch and makes me so much more likely to send fun, unexpected mail because I’m totally 100% prepared.

Verdict: Nicely Noted is a lovely little subscription if you love to send real mail, like to support independent artists, or if you like letterpress cards in particular. In my case: I love letterpress cards and the only shop that sells them near me is on the other side of town, so I don’t get to pick them up as often as I’d like… this subscription is perfect for making sure I always have the appropriate card on hand and encouraging me to send more mail in general!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, your first box will be the February box.

Coupon – Use code NICE20 to save 20% off your first box!

Value Breakdown: For $20, we got $17 worth of stamps and cards. If you value the curation of this box and the reminder to send real cards every month, then I think the $3 difference could be worth it!

  1. <3 Anemone Letterpress; she's from my city and her stuff is at a lot of local shops.
