I got a deal to add three months to my subscription, so I paid the money and they charged me still monthly and sent me two boxes and I sent messages to them because I didn’t see on my account that they’d opened a second subscription. So for 2 months I got two of the exact same boxes and paid for both. So, I cancelled and got my final box. A total mess! They also sent me med face makeup samples, and I have the lightest skin color picked on my profile. What am I going to do with stuff that’s at least 4 shades too dark? And in May they sent me a large sunblock that expired June 30th.

I would love to do glossybox but I keep hearing stories of people not being able to cancel or reach customer service if something is wrong.

Canceling is easy. You can do it online (don’t even need to speak with anyone). Hope that helps:).

I get a decent amount of free boxes too with the Glossydots. They give you these, about 120 per month, for reviewing the box and the items. For my birthday, I got 500, and they periodically give them out. Bascially, every 9 or 10 months, I get a free box. (If you cancel, you lose them though, so don’t think you’re going to cancel, take the free box, then resub).

Where they do fall short in CS is if an item is missing or damaged. This has happened to me twice. They just don’t respond to my communication, so I ended up chalking that up as a lost sample. Disappointing, but overall, still a great value. I’m happy with it, and I’ve had it about 2 years.

I’ve had GB on and off for about 18 months and NEVER had problems with CS or canceling. Actually, canceling is super easy to do online. You just have to cancel by the 14th of the month to keep from getting a box the following month.

I’ve never had any issues with glossybox and I just cancel online when I sign in to my account.
