Meal kits are an absolute game changer when it comes to streamlining the meal planning process. Whether you choose heat-and-eat meals or a meal kit that comes with freshly prepared ingredients and easy-to-follow recipes, both options save time and can help improve your eating habits. You can tell fast food to take a hike while also saving yourself from making an extra trip to the store - now that's a major win-win!

However, a lot of meal kits and meal delivery services are designed for couples and families, not individual diners. While it can be great to have extra meals on hand for later, we all know that leftovers end up turning into food waste too often. If you only need a meal delivery service for your own meals and want to avoid wasting both money and food, then we've got just the list for you!

Here, we'll take a look at the 9 best meal kits for singles in 2023. Our list includes meal kit services that offer ready-to-eat meals as well as easy-to-cook meals with options available for most dietary restrictions. Some meal delivery services send a certain number of meals per week, whereas others let you customize your meal plan completely. You're bound to find the perfect match for your dietary preferences and needs that assists with your weekly meal-planning process in a fun, tasty way. We've also thrown in some extra meal delivery services toward the end of this article that offer meal kits with multiple servings in case leftovers aren't a problem for you.

The 9 Best Meal Kits For Singles + 8 Other Meal Kits to Consider

We've compiled a list of meal delivery services that offer heat-and-eat meals, traditional meal kits that require cooking, as well as those that assist with grocery shopping and meal prep. The first half of our list is specifically dedicated to single-serving meals, whereas the second half contains brands that offer two servings or more per meal. Many of the brands below are super popular among our readers and have been featured in articles like The 15 Best Prepared Meal Delivery Subscriptions in 2023 and The 22 Best Food Subscription Boxes of 2023.

I'm a SAHM of 2 under 2 who's on a mission to discover the best subscription boxes for women and children. On the off chance I'm not chasing after my kids (or breaking up a looming brawl between them and the cats), you can most likely find me training in the pool, sipping on an Americano at my local coffee shop, or hiding in our spare room to catch up on my favorite podcasts.

Can we get a Real Eats review? I’ve been doing Freshly and love it, but I’m curious on how they compare. Real Eats has some meals that look good but it’s hard to take the plunge with a higher-cost food box when there aren’t any reviews out there. So any would be appreciated please 🙂
