Interestingly, as soon as I posted my comments below and sent a few more comments on their IG asking why they deleted my previous comments, I finally got an email that my label has been printed (does not mean it was shipped but at least finally printed). It seems they have not been honest about their shipping delays – I feel that if they were honest and open instead of hiding things, deleting IG comments, not responding to questions, I would be a lot more likely to be completely fine with the delays. Stuff happens and that’s fine – but the way they are handling it is not ok.

I have had the exact same experience. I’m very disappointed as I’ve been subscribed to them for years (mid 2019, I think…back when they used to write personal notes). They were incredibly reliable.
I was charged July 5. I have not received any tracking and my order still says it’s unfulfilled. Their IG account keeps advertising the box and they only reply to people that are skincare bloggers or influencers and ignore the customers’ questions about shipping (except for one response which ended up being inaccurate). They had a post where they claimed everything was shipped and that we had to be patient with the Post office to scan everything – that was pretty tricky of them because they made sure to rest the blame on the Post Office and not them (since we have not received a tracking number, that is a problem on See New’s side, not the Post office – an automated email is sent to us when See New prints the shipping labels – which looks like they have not done).
They have deleted IG posts or at least customer comments that had customers inquiring about shipping, They deleted a few of my questions (I was polite and gave them the benefit of the doubt). I tried emails, DMs and their chatbot —no response at all. It’s time unfortunately to file a complaint with my credit card. It’s a shame because up until now, I’ve had a great experience with them.

My comment on IG about how they would underweight their boxes, causing their boxes to be delivered with postage due, was also deleted.

My comments on their IG post were also deleted but since I mentioned filing dispute with my bank, my box shipped the next day and arrived two days later! Coincidence? I don’t think so

My box arrived yesterday, but I haven’t had a chance to open it yet (I got home late last night and have been at work all day today).

My box just came … cancelling that sub. Nice products but the wait …

Melissa

If you can’t stand to wait, then don’t sign up for Ipsy or Glossybox.

I haven’t received the July/August box either despite being charged on 7/5. No one answered the chat on the site and so far have not gotten a response to my email. Has anyone received the box yet?

Reply ButtonReply

Cheryl

My box is still showing as “unfulfilled” (20 days post billing) and no response to repeated inquiries (chat and email) about its status. If I don’t see definitive movement by the end of the week I’m filing a dispute with my credit card and cancelling this subscription. This is not acceptable. I’m tired of the constant ads for purchases on their site (“so-and-so has purchased the Skincare Box Annual–yeah, good luck with that) and they can’t answer a simple subscriber inquiry. I’m so over subscription boxes.

SandySue

Exactly, if this company can’t send me the box then don’t charge me!

Dia

I received mine on Saturday, July 23. I never received a response from my email asking about the box’s status, but they sente a shipping confirmation the day after I inquired. Not sure if it’s a coincidence.
Also, the stuff inside the box was wrapped differently. It used to be each item was tissue wrapped, and kraft paper provided padding between items. This time, there was one piece of tissue paper covering all the items, and the kraft paper was replaced by styrofoam peanuts. None of the items were damaged, so it’s fine. Just… different.

Nika

Wow looks like my July/August box is on the way!!!

Reply ButtonReply

dia

Mine says a shipping label was created. I’ll believe they shipped when UPS/FedEx picks up the package.

Reply ButtonReply

dia

Hmm so it looks like they charged my card on July 5, and fourteen days later my box remains “unfulfilled,” which I assume means not shipped, since I never received a shipping email. To the best of my knowledge, they’re not allowed to charge your card before making shipment unless they explicitly inform you (Margot Elena explicitly informs you of the charge dates, for example). They can put a hold on the amount to be charged, but not actually charge it.

It seems I’m not the only one they’ve done this to. MSA might want to reach out to them for an explanation, since they are fond of quoting MSA in their Instagram advertisements. What a shame. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the boxes I’ve received from them, but there seems to be some sort of fraud going on with the company.

Carey

I’ve skipped several boxes, BUT the ones they have sent me have all been shipped via First Class Mail with weights of 10oz even though every box was over 2 pounds!!!
My mail guy caught it the second time and said they are not allowed to that and if it happens again he will be charging me the difference in postage which for a 2lb package would mean about $10 out of pocket for me.
I am still waiting for my box and its July 25th, I was billed 20 days ago, I’ve contacted them and no response.
I will also say this, there are some other hinky things going on with this company as far as some of the companies that they have had in their boxes, just my opinion.

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

Yeah, like Cheryl said, what might those things be?

Cheryl

What might those things be?

Andrea

If MSA can get in touch with them. I am not holding my breath that they will actually send me my box. I am so disheartened by their CS because I really loved that they were a small business and had some really great products showcased.

Reply ButtonReply

Andrea

@Dia, interesting – thanks for sharing! I think I am going to request a chargeback for the last two boxes since I paid using a Visa card. When I had asked the owner he said between the 5th and 15th, they will be shipping out stuff.

Dia

I looked this up. I paid via Visa, and according to Visa’s company policy, “a merchant is not permitted to bill ahead of time except in case of a deposit or down payment that the customer agrees to.” So, at the very least, See New is in violation of Visa’s company policy.

Annette

I got my order conf on 5 July for the sub box, no tracking yet, this is my last box of my sub, I am going to cancel after receipt. Their CS has been awful.

Reply ButtonReply

nika

Did any of you get your box?

Reply ButtonReply

Andrea

No, I didn’t even get confirmation of shopping for the newest box either. I think I’m going to just cancel when they finally if ever get back to me. No boxes worth 4 months of constant communication to get.

Reply ButtonReply

Andrea

I tried their chat a few times and I was never able to connect with anyone. When I did finally get in-touch with one of the owners he said that they let go most of their customer service team and that he (or maybe the company) doesn’t check their emails every single day. “We are a small team and have had to part with a portion of our staff. We have an automated reply noting that it can take 3-5 business days to respond as we do not monitor these inboxes daily. You patience would be appreciated as we are working with you to resolve this and simply waiting for the bank to confirm. ” Meanwhile, I did cancel my dispute with my bank and still no box. Never making that mistake again without a tracking number in hand because they were singing a different tune when I did a BBB compliant. Good luck on getting your July box *crosses fingers for you!*

Cheryl

Well, my July box is showing a “unfulfilled” so I logged onto their chat: Got “Our staff will contact you within the next couple of minutes, in the meantime, tell us how can we help you.” so I asked when the July Earth Harbor box would be shipping as it seems late and I was billed ten days ago. Half an hour later. . . talking to a black hole in space.
It’s really bad when you didn’t get your May/June box, considering this box is bi-monthly. It sure didn’t take long for this box to go to heck in a hand basket.

Andrea

@Cheryl, I agree. I even opened a BBB complaint and they were like I never reached out to them. I had to even send messages to their private IG and direct emails to their corporate emails address instead of their generic customer service. After reading their BBB response of them saying, I never gave them a chance it left a real bad taste in my mouth. It’s now July and I still haven’t gotten my previous month’s box or this month’s box tracking information. I wouldn’t be surprised if this company folds within the year because of their poor customer service.

Cheryl

This doesn’t bode well. Usually boxes have shipped by now. I’ve run out of patience with poor customer service and am no longer willing to put up with it. If my box doesn’t ship by month’s end I’ll be opening a dispute with my credit card company and cancelling. All these boxes seem to be more trouble than they’re worth these days.

Linsday C

I have reached out to their customer service about shipping on my box, no response for 4 days so far. I let it pass the first time. This happened to me before with them. Total loss of credibility for me. Staying true to the boxes that have good business practices and customer service.

Reply ButtonReply

Andrea

This is the second time for me too but, it’s been a month and half fighting to get my box this time around. The first time it was only 2 weeks of not getting a response. Honestly, I am kinda tired of it and it left a bad taste.

I’m looking forward to this box! I think if I was paying $56, I would be annoyed at the relatively low value, but since I was grandfathered in at the $39.50 price, I’m more than happy with this selection. I haven’t tried anything from Earth Harbor despite them making the rounds in sub boxes; Ahoy Love, Mermaid Milk, and Celestine all look like fantastic products.

Ashlyn

I have skipped some of their boxes this year but this is intriguing. I see Earth Harbor Naturals in many stores so I think I will definitely get this one. Thanks Elizabeth for the code.

Reply ButtonReply

Elizabeth

I did find a coupon from the founders personal instagram which takes $15 off instead, it’s “BRYN”.
Hope this helps! I just used it on my order and didn’t have an issue with it. Earth Harbor is consistently been a winner brand. Might pass a couple items on to my daughter though, I think she’ll love that bright blue bottle!

Reply ButtonReply

Daria

I know that a subscription isn’t only about retail value, that curation, etc is also important, but the value to me just isn’t there anymore. The price for this sub has gone up and it’s especially expensive to ship to Canada, yet the value of the boxes has been going down. Part of the value, for me, of a box is receiving products I could never afford to buy myself individually – like the Honua, or the Forest Rhapsody. I cancelled my sub two boxes ago and sorry to say, I don’t regret it.

I can’t wait to recieve this box. Still over the moon I found a subscription where I can try all these brands that I actually love

Favorite skincare subscription hands down. I’ve never tried Earth Harbor but it looks marvelous.

I’m still waiting on my May/June box….no response from Customer service , have left 2 messages more than a week ago now!! Very sad with their CS.

Reply ButtonReply

Snow

Does your account say anything about the unfulfilled box? If you log in, it should have all your orders and the tracking numbers. I have found See New to be very responsive.

Reply ButtonReply

Andrea

They used to be but, I been chasing them for over a month! He said it’s because they have a new customer support team but, a whole month to get a resolution is pretty disappointing. The previous box ship but it went to the wrong address and they are dragging their feet to send a new box even after they finally acknowledge that the box did go somewhere else

Andrea

Same here! I been reaching out for several weeks and no one has responded. I created a dispute with my credit card and then they told me to cancel the dispute and they will send box. I cancelled the dispute and guess who got ghosted again…..

Meredith

Wonderful sleuthing. I would not have guessed that but I believe you are correct. Celestine looks mesmerizing. Crossing my fingers now!

Joslyn

Oh my…PLEASE let this be true! I have tried Earth Harbor in the past and absolutely love their collection. Hoping for 5 products instead of 4 though….

Looks like the regular box will have five items: cream cleanser, mask, serum, moisturizer, and SPF.

Reply ButtonReply

mia

@amy It was on their Instagram page.

Amy

Where did you find this?

Mia

Ooh… I’ve never tried Earth Harbor, but their stuff looks so beautiful. I’ve skipped the last three boxes (but I did get carried away and bought two Forest Rhapsody boxes during their half price moving sale), but I just might have to grab this one if the spoiler is correct.
