Is the 10% off code not working properly for anyone else? I was thinking of signing up for the annual subscription, but it’s only giving me $10 off instead of $20.

I could be wrong but this looks like spoilers for the whole box right here

I clicked the link and got a 404, but you posted this about 7 hours ago, so they’ve had time to address it.

Yeah, it looks like it was taken down. Maybe they were going to spoil them one by one but they had them all up on the site because now that is down and they are all out.

I was told once that I have the patience of a baboon on cocaine, so the shipping delays drive me bananas (!), but Journeebox is really special and I’m excited for this box!

Also, Causebox should hire Leo to train their customer service people, because it is like the difference between night and day.

Super cool I love ceramics like this that have soul! Can’t wait to see what else, my gf loved everything in the zero waste box especially the seagrass basket. Thanks

SquirrelyGirl

The seagrass basket is amazing and useful. I took my belongs in it to the hospital when I had emergency knee surgery and everyone kept commenting on it 🙂

I just got the spoiler email and this platter comes in 3 different colors, and we’ll get to choose which of the three we get.

I know I’m in the minority but I love this and as everyone knows, I LOVE Journee Box. They have had problems sure but they are not just throwing readily available products in a box. These have been custom, hand picked products, coming from smaller vendors in the midst of a huge pandemic. I say give them a break. Large companies may do better but they are literally home grown. I have had every box and the problems have been worth it. I just am a huge fan in it for the long haul because it’s been worth every penny!

Thank you so much! We are a small company and much like any other who has been affected by this pandemic has its ups and downs. However, we will still provide a quality product for our amazing customers.

Sorry to tell you but these are not custom hand picked products from small vendors. She manufactured all these products specifically for the box. As you can see the Kevia label is on everything she sends. Likely she has a manufacturer in China that makes all her stuff and for each box she chooses items and has the producer manufacture them. There might be one item that’s not from her line but everything else is .

The link and code don’t seem to be working, was anyone able to use it successfully?

Leo@Journeebox

Hello Ali,

Apologies about that, we are going to take a look at this matter. If you need further assistance you can email our customer service via our website. Thank you!

Beautiful! I used to do ceramics, so I enjoy the imperfections and uniqueness.

I have enjoyed every single item I have received from JourneeBox. They’ve been behind this year, but every box proves to be worth the wait. Always high quality items.

Dang, I haven’t heard of this box before and I personally love that tray! But it’s expensive and I definitely don’t need more junk around the house lol.

I’m looking forward to seeing the variations to choose from! 9×5″ seems more like a trinket dish than a “platter” … I was hoping for something a little more substantial in size.

Molly

Looks nice; if I had more room in my budget I would probably order.

I don’t particularly care for the spoiler either, though it’s got possibilities and I accept that when it comes to anything artistic or not cookie-cutter Ikea style (and I do like Ikea style as a rule), we aren’t all going to agree. Overall I think this is a great box, but sadly I’m in Canada so it’s out of my reach. I’ve liked everything I’ve seen in terms of past boxes, though and if they offer it to Canada at a reasonable shipping cost, I think I’ll bite.

I’ve received two of their boxes so far, and have been very impressed! I hope this box is around for a long time.

I’m on the fence about this box for a while now because the shipping is so slow. It seems like a pretty good curation but so many people talk about not getting their box for months and months after it should have shipped. I’ve been through that hassle (I’m looking at you, Bombay and Cedar) and not a fan of trying to keep track of what I’m owed while they keep charging my card. Oui Please is another I’d like to try, but same issues with shipping…

Snow

Man I forgot about Oui Please! I agree, great boxes but the shipping issues have got to be resolved. I do a running list of all my subscriptions and when I have received each box and if I have skipped or not. I also do this with online orders to keep me accountable. And for those who lose lists, just use your notepad (color note) on your phone ☺️

Also Beth

I’d say that the big difference between JB and other boxes with shipping issues is that JourneeBox (generally) communicates better. They delay the WHOLE box, for EVERYONE, rather than having a five-month shipping period like, er, certain other subscriptions. To me it’s a lot less stressful to just hear “this box has been moved to January” than to be in “when will mine ship?” limbo.

Sherri

It is a really good, well curated box, different (in a good way!) than any other box I’ve subscribed to. But yes, there are major shipping/fulfillment issues. JourneeBox seems to have been particularly hard hit by the pandemic – which I presume relates primarily to sourcing items for the box. I am hopeful that things will turn around now that the world is coming out of the thick of it, but I also know there will be residual effects for quite a while as many industries/manufacturers play catch-up. I subscribed in April, 2020 and to date have received 2 boxes from my annual sub. Thankfully, they seem to have sorted out the billing, as I was not charged for a renewal at my 1 year mark, which of course I shouldn’t be since I’m only halfway through my annual subscription.

Sherri

I am so glad to see this post, as I have legit been worried that this sub might have been going under… it had been pretty quiet…

Diane

I subscribed to this box specifically for Japan. After seeing this ugly first spoiler, I am really worried.

Reply ButtonReply

Leo@Journeebox

Hello Diane,

I am sorry this does not meet your expectations. This platter has 3 colors to choose from and its look is original Japanese pottery. Besides this, there will be other items with it that encapsulate the essence of Kyoto Japan.

Also, we are always happy to accommodate any questions or concerns. Please email us at [email protected]. Take care!
