Animal Trackers Club Review - December 2020
Before we get started on the contents of this shipment, I wanted to highlight a few items that we received in our Introductory Box that we also used for this month:

Animal Trackers Lunchbox
We received this cute tin lunchbox featuring Bode Bear and the Animal Trackers logo which is perfect for storing all of our animal gear each month as we collect it. It will also double as a place to play with our animal magnets!

Animal Tracks Card Ring
This is our Animal Tracks card ring. Each month we will receive an animal photo and track card that we can add to this ring as we discover new animals.

Animal Coloring Card
This animal coloring card will be used to track which animals we've already explored and which are still to come!

These little figurines are my son's favorite each month. The figures are a great size and realistic looking. My son has a special collection of them that he keeps together to play with.

Each month we receive a great colored photograph of our animal to add to our Animal Tracks ring. It is printed on thicker cardstock and has a hole at the top corner for us to easily add it. How cute is that baby meerkat?
My son loves adding his newest track card to the ring each month!

These fact sheet cards fit perfectly inside our lunchbox and they are filled with information about our animal. One side has full-color images while the back has some sentences about them. They include little pictures in the story so that the kids can help read, too!
He loves learning more about animals!
Once we finished learning a bit about meerkats he found the one on his coloring card and colored it in.

He also loves collecting these magnets to add to his lunchbox. I think it's fun that they are a bit more cartoonish.

Here are my little meerkat boys!

This month we received a few different activities. Our first one explored meerkat burrows and was filled with lots of information about the various sections of their burrows.

First, he had to color in the pictures and then cut them out. I loved that he got some extra cutting practice in for something he thought was fun!

Once we had them cut out, they provided these glue dots for us to glue them on to the matching spots with.
Here is his finished burrow sheet. He really loved learning about their burrows and so did I!

The next activities all involved using these fun counting cubes in different colors.

We worked on patterns with the first two pages.

Then we measured our meerkat and recorded his height in cubes with the next sheet. They also had spaces for us to measure the rest of our animals from our boxes which I thought was such a fun activity. He was excited to find his other animals so he could measure them, too.

Finally, we did some stacking and counting and number writing. So many great skills!
Verdict: I just loved how educational this month's Animal Trackers Club box was! Not only did we learn all about meerkat burrows, but we also did a lot of great math activities like measuring, counting, and making patterns with the cubes. In addition to all of that learning, my son received a great toy, a cute magnet, and a fun mask to wear. This box is such a great value to me and I appreciate how much joy it brings to my son each month!
