World's Finest: The Collection - Retro Wonder Woman Box Review

It comes with an information card that details the items in your box. Everything you see in this box was made exclusively for World's Finest: The Collection.

Wonder Woman Button-Down Shirt

I will admit right off the bat that I strongly dislike shirts like this with collars, buttons, short sleeves, and loud prints. That being said, it totally fits the retro theme of this box. The print is a combination of red and blue Wonder Women and Wonder Woman logos. It is 60% cotton and 40% polyester.

Wonder Woman Vinyl Bust

This is a pretty bust that showcases Wonder Woman in a dynamic pose. I like the way they added blue to her hair which gives it a cool effect and depth and how detailed her hands are. There is something lacking a little with the attention paid to the painting of her eyes, but you have to get really close to tell!

Wonder Woman Shield Silicone Pouch

I loved this little silicone pouch! It is the perfect shape for change or lipstick in your purse and compared to the bright colors in this box it feels downright subdued!

Wonder Woman Drawstring Bag

This bag is pretty cute and I would have loved it as a kid. They did a great job with the illustration here. It is bright, retro, and has a really cool backdrop of clouds and a looping and twisting rainbow. These bright colors tie in with the red green and blue accents on the corners of the bag itself and the yellow string references WW's lasso!

Wonder Woman 5-Panel Hat

I feel like I haven't seen a 5 paneled hat in so long! I like this shape because it tends to fit my head better. This one is in red, white, and blue featuring a bold embroidered WW logo.

'Greeting from Themyscira' Canvas Print

This is the sort of thing I really enjoy showing up in geekier boxes. This is a printed canvas designed to look like a vacation poster or postcard you might send back to a close friend or relative while you are away. You could easily add this to your wall at home and no one who wasn't also a fan of DC would even know that this was an homage to the home of the Amazons.

Wonder Woman Spinning Enamel Pin

This feels as much like a fidget spinner as it does a pin because the yellow WW logo spins freely against the blue and red shield background. The only real downside is that the logo on mine wants to hang upside down when I attach it to a jacket.

Verdict: Admittedly, I am not the biggest WW fan, but this box is totally geared to someone who is. As usual, the sheer assortment of item types in here is admirable, and nearly all are super functional. I did not love how bright and colorful everything inside this delivery was, but I am also a Batman fan, so brooding and dark characters are much more my speed. Regardless, if you love Wonder Woman and how fun and colorful her story has been through the years, this was a really fun box.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Sadly, no. This box has sold out. Sign up today for the Fall 2020 box featuring a Gotham theme!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

So now you’ve resorted to outright making fun of the reviewers, Rose? Seriously mean and unnecessary.
