Look Fantastic March 2020 "Unconstricted Edition" Review

Each box comes with a booklet that includes product information and tips for how to use what you got.

Grow Gorgeous Strengthening Hair & Scalp Mask, 30 ml - Estimated Value $4.50 (Buy a full-size 200 ml for $30.00, on sale for $22.50)

Ohhhh this stuff smells so good! Like, expensive salon good! I don't use a ton of hair masks, but this one was calling my name. I applied it to my damp hair (just the ends!) and waited 5 minutes per the instructions. My hair smelled so great and my strands had so much shine after I rinsed and air-dried my hair. I feel like I could have left this on even longer and I will try that next time when I finish off this sample.

MÁDARA Time Miracle Wrinkle Resist Eye Cream, 15 ml - Retail Value $46.60

I don't know about all of you, but stress absolutely freaks my face out, maybe even worse than lack of sleep or a few too many glasses of wine. And with everything going on out there right now, I have been stressed! Sadly, it shows. My undereye area is looking dull and darker than I have ever seen it. While this cream can't get my mental acrobatics in order, it certainly did brighten up that skin under my eyes! The heavier formula absorbed rapidly and left the skin looking plumper and just happier in general. This will be living by my nightstand until it's gone!

Hairburst Healthy Hair Vitamins, 30 day supply - Estimated Value $16.65 (Buy a 60 day supply for $33.30)

I have thick hair that grows rapidly, but I did cut it off last year and something about summertime always makes me want to have super long mermaid hair. I am happy to add these hair vitamins to my daily routine, especially because they are yummy. They remind me of these British pastille candies my grandmother used to bring back from her travels: not too sweet, gummy but firm. Yum!

Rodial Bee Venom Cleansing Balm, 20 ml - Estimated Value $15.00 (Buy a full-size 100 ml for $75.00)

Ok, so bee venom sounds a little scary, especially for a facial product! Apparently it is an anti-aging power ingredient though, so pour it all over my face! The texture is runny, and it honestly feels a lot like a cleansing oil. Thankfully, it didn't burn and it did indeed cleanse my skin wonderfully. There was no massive change in terms of appearance, but it sure did feel nice to the touch!

Rituals The Ritual of Ayurveda Shower Oil - Retail Value $4.28 (Buy 200 ml for $11.40)

I love oil products, so this bottle of shower oil was a nice surprise. I am not sure I love the scent, but it is a blend of rose and almond, though I can't really smell either. It smells a little sharp, but still feminine. The oil turns a little foamy when you massage it onto damp skin, and leaves behind lots of moisture!

Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster, 5 ml - Estimated Value $11.17 (Buy a full-size 30 ml for $67.00)

This is a lightweight gel that is meant to be a step between your cleanser and serum. It absorbs almost immediately and doesn't leave behind much of a texture. Containing probiotics, vitamins, minerals, and botanicals, it is meant to help retain your skin's moisture barrier and give it the extra boost it needs to self-repair. I honestly didn't notice a huge difference here, but it might be something I would see more results with over time.

BellaPierre Kiss Proof Lip Creme in 'Incognito', 3.8 g - Full Size! Retail Value $26.60

I am a little confused about this product since it wasn't mentioned in the booklet at all. It seems like it was a little bonus item! I really like the pinky nude shade and though this is one of those true matte finishes that my dry lips find challenging, it is certainly pretty enough to wear this spring, even if I add on gloss!

The Verdict: I liked this Look Fantastic Beauty Box. It has an overall value of around $124.80 which is great for a $19.00 box. I do find myself still missing the magazine, but this was a great Look Fantastic box, and probably one of the better ones I have gotten in the last year. I loved the hair vitamins, cleanser, eye cream, and that bee venom cleanser so much. The shower gel is also really nice and the bonus lippie was a nice touch.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

I almost bit but first I realized that it’s only a 2 week supply of hair vitamins because you’re supposed to take 2 per day and then I noticed no more Elle. After that it just wasn’t that appealing. I’m struggling with whether or not to pre-order that egg though! I definitely don’t need it so hopefully I can fight it.

I got the Polaar cream, I’ve been pleased with everything in my LF box. (Imho, this is how Birchbox should do it!)

I do miss the magazine.

I can’t believe no one has mentioned the smell of the Bee Venom, I am obsessed with it!

My box is in quarantine in the laundry room. I’ll open it soon when I think it is safe. I am doing this for all my subs.

You

Then when you open it do you quarantine again? I just wipe all my things down with a Clorox wipe and wash my hands while signing happy Birthday two times.

That’s so weird that none of you got a free gift. In every unboxing I saw everyone got a free gift. That really sucks that you guys didn’t, I’m sorry

I didn’t get a free gift. It was my last box of a year subscription.

Very strange that only some of us got an extra item. I have 2 annual subscriptions and received Bellapierre Kiss Proof Lip Cream in one and BalanceMe Hyaluronic Plumping Primer in the other. I am stoked about the primer (I haven’t tried it yet as I already have an open primer).

I’m glad I cancelled my subscription. I miss the Elle magazine. Cancelling the subscription could have been why I didn’t get the free gift.

I loved my March Box! I think everyone got a free gift this month and they were all different. I got a 25ml tube of Polaar Hand Cream and I love it. I loved every item in the box this month. My favorites were the Bee Venom Cleansing Balm (I was scared to use it at first too), the Elizabeth Arden Serum and the Rituals Shower Oil (my skin is so soft from it). I loved the Eye Cream, hair vitamins and the Grow Gorgeous Hair Mask (I was disappointed in the size of the hair mask though because I have very very thick, curly hair and that tube only had enough for one use for me). I love Look Fantastic and I’m really glad I signed up for the 6 months sub when they were doing the black friday deal and I have never regretted that decision

I was wondering if I got a free gift (because honestly by now I’ve totally forgotten what came in what box, lol), and after you mentioned the Polaar hand cream, I’m almost positive I did because I recall getting one of those in one of my boxes this month. 🙂
