Ipsy is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription box. Each month you get full-size or deluxe-sized products, plus a cute makeup bag.
This is one of Liz’s top recommendations if you are looking for a subscription box - the value and sample sizes are amazing. (Check out our list of the best beauty boxes for 2020 and our reviews of Cheap Subscription Boxes for more recommendations!)
(FYI – Just like Birchbox, Ipsy sends out many different variations of their bag each month – so my review is just one of the bag variations you might receive!)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

My Ipsy Glam Bag March 2020 Review
Included is a card that usually details each of the items. This month my card contained a list of five ways to reuse your glam bag.
Each month, Ipsy subscribers get a makeup bag in addition to their items. This month happens to be the 100th Ipsy Glam Bag! It is decked out in silver studs and made of a teal, faux-leather body. The inside is neon green!
Honey Jarret Clean Whip Cleanser, 30 g - Estimated Value $5.40 (Buy a full-size 100 g $18.00)
I really like this creamy whipped cleanser! It is very lightly scented, which is a plus for my sensitive skin. It leaves my face feeling squeaky clean and hydrated, not dry. I absolutely love getting facial cleansers to try and at this size, I will get a good idea of how this cleanser will work for my skin.
FOXYBAE Don’t Hate, Hydrate Hair Mask, 29.5 mL - Estimated Value $7.08 (Buy eight 15 mL packets for $28.95)
This hair mask smells amazing! With ingredients like biotin and argan oil, it is definitely very hydrating and hair-healthy. My hair felt noticeably softer and smoother after one use. As someone with a full head of thick, curly hair I can say I was impressed with how far this tube went.
Kensie So Pretty Eau De Parfum, 0.34 oz - Estimated Value $5.50 (Buy a full-size 3.4 oz for $55.00)
To be honest, perfumes are not really my thing. Strong fragrances tend to irritate my sinuses and skin. I did spritz this in the air and gave it a sniff. It has a great mix of fruity and floral notes; a VERY sweet and yummy scent. It took me back to my high school years of Victoria’s Secret body sprays but a bit more polished and refined.
Luxie 640 Beauty Pro Precision Tapered Brush – Retail Value $23.00
This brush is absolutely adorable! I love the periwinkle handle and gold accents. The synthetic bristles are fluffy and soft and will definitely have a light touch. This will be a useful product for me. I always love a great feeling fluffy brush to apply powders with.
Belle En Argent Lip Luire Gloss in Jealous of Us, 6.4 g - Retail Value $22 (currently on sale for $15.00)
This lip gloss has a beautiful shimmer to it and is incredibly hydrating. It made my lips feel soft and smooth with minimal sticky texture. The color is a bit glam for me; I prefer more of a natural look, but I will definitely break it out for a night on the town.
SHAINA B. MIAMI Blush, Bellini, 3 g - Estimated Value $4.83 (Buy a palette of 6 shades for $29.00)
This color is great if you’re looking for a subtle natural flush. The formula has an incredibly soft texture with a matte finish. It gave me a very spring/summertime fun vibe with the flirtatious peachy undertones.
Verdict: I enjoyed the Ipsy Glam Bag this month, even though I wasn’t a huge fan of the Kenzie So Pretty fragrance. The Honey Jarret Cleanser made the bag for me! I LOVE skincare! The FOXYBAE Don’t Hate, Hydrate hair mask is another one of my top favorites this month and may be a new main staple for my curls. I’m excited to give the adorable periwinkle brush a try, but I do hope there isn’t a brush in every bag—because how many brushes does one girl really need? The SHAINA B. MIAMI Bellini blush is a refreshing natural-colored blush that I am excited to try. The Belle En Argent Lip Luire Gloss is a little bit out of my comfort zone and will not be an everyday product for me, but it’s always good to have a little something-something in your arsenal. This month had a nice value estimated at $67.81. That is great for a $12 subscription!
