Received an email about their Pop Up Sale today – plus free shipping over $25. The site says you must have an active account.

Many items to choose from – plus I used promo code ALEXANDRA and saved an additional 20% on the sale prices.

Worth a look.

I love this box it’s my hands down favorite. With that said the big reason I like it that there’s no beauty profile and everyone gets the same box so there’s no issues with one box being better than another. Right now I saw on their FB that they are working on getting beauty profiles. If that happens that might cause me to cancel. I’m just so tired of filling out profiles from companies and they are never used. Boxy and Ipsy just send out anything. They don’t go by the profiles. Like this sub the way it is. It’s curated really good. No need for profiles that are useless.

I have been subscribed since July 2019. I love this box. I have several boxes and some are very mainstream as far as brands and contents but The Box has the greatest variety of products I have experienced with a box. Shadi (the CEO) is really engaged with his clients. We get a lot of very good skincare and we also get makeup items like every box has a palette. We have gotten lippies; eyeliners; highlighters. The Box is like a showcase for indie and up-and-coming brands. It is totally worth it.

I agree. I’m excited about this palette and love getting these products that I don’t already have.

annalisa…Hi I joined this month around the 5th of the month…they sent me a thank you for joining…but I haven’t heard anything else..can you please tell me will I be getting a notice soon for what’s in my box , or will I just receive a shipping notice..i mean they don’t communicate to good..just asking.

Follow them on IG for spoilers. Their stories often give the info you are seeking.

This particular box doesn’t begin to ship u til the 3rd week of the month and sometimes later. You will receive a tracking email, though, or at least you should. I always do.

SquirrelyGirl

This continues to be one of my favorite sub boxes. Indie brands, cruelty free and exceptional customer service.

I do not mind that they ship later in the month. It’s in their FAQ’s that they don’t start shipping until the 2nd half of the month, so I was aware when I signed up. December was late due to an issue with receiving a product from a vendor-beyond their control. The Box put out a statement and offered refunds to those who didn’t want to wait. They also have stated that they are working on getting boxes out quicker and thanked us for being patient. They are really communicative and you can tell they really appreciate us. When’s the last time you felt like Boxycharm, Allure, Ipsy etc legitimately cares about you as a subscriber? The Box has some things the can improve upon (and are actively doing that) so I am willing to stick it out for a while!

I actually enjoy that the box comes late in the month. I get my Ipsys and my Boxys, then my Sephora, then my Allure, and I still have something to look forward to!

SquirrelyGirl

Yes, me too! I love boxes during the lull, but I think we are the minority based on a lot of the comments I’ve read in various forums/ groups lol

Lori

This is such a real thing, lol! During the “downtime” of the month when I’m not expecting any packages, I feel it. My Subscription Addiction indeed! 😀

Lori

Ipsy’s whole March celebration and their recent surveys on IG make me feel like they really appreciate their subscribers. It’s hard to be personal when you’re such a large company, but I think they are definitely trying. I’ve seen lots of complaints on here about sub box companies only giving love to new subscribers while ignoring the long time customers. I’m not knocking anything you said, just answering your question.

IPSY actually sent me a huge appreciation gift for being so supportive of them the day before Thanksgiving! I was shocked! They sent me a beautiful $130 throw, a $60 facial steamer, a Huda highlight palette, and some other makeup. I literally cried when I received it. It was so nice to be appreciated as a consumer. So, if you ever think they aren’t paying attention to comments, they do. They reached out to me over a comment I made on Facebook.

SquirrelyGirl

That’s true! But, the box actually does surveys and such to ask us what we want/ don’t want. It just has a more personal feel to it. I love Ipsy but I don’t feel like they listen to the feedback as much. If that makes sense.

Shauna

Sadly won’t subscribe unless they lower the price for Canada. $65 is outrageous.

I would not be sad about not getting this box. I unsubscribed. The box takes for ever to arrive here in the US, then, most of the products are made in China

They make it very clear in the FAQ that the boxes dont come at the beginning of the month. They ship them out closer to the end of the month but they are very upfront about that. People who dont like getting their boxes near the end of the month should read the FAQ and not subscribe. Also what products that they’ve sent out are made in China? They send out a lot of products that are from small/indie brands that make the products in small batches in the US or Canada. I’m sure some products are made in China but what subscription box doesn’t include products made in China? It’s not like Fashionsta sends out more China made products than other beauty subscriptions. They probably send out less actually. Just wondering what products were made in China?

Marcia

I’m so glad I got in under the wire for 19.99. While I’ve only received 2 boxes so far, I’m really happy with the curation and customer service. I too just cancelled Boxy so this box seems to be a good substitute in terms of variety. It’s introduced me to new products and I don’t have to worry about monthly variation in boxes drama.

So far I’ve been happy with this sub. Products and brands I never knew about, and yes, I liked their statement about the questionable products. I’m lucky to be locked in to the lower price, but I’d say it’s worth the 24.99

Julie

So happy with this box. And they put a post that they wont be featuring any products by the DLS creator after they saw the drama with boxycharm and the “$100 moisterizer” I’ve been kind of shocked that I dont care so much about RV with them because I like the actual products themselves.

They already DID put one in there…the luna by luna lip oil where everyone’s tube was messed up causing it to have glops of the “lip oil” come out.
I wish they would go with better brands and not wish and ali babba type pallettes. Heck, they one last month ipsy has been sending out for years…so much for the, coming out saying they would be better than Boxycharm and ipsy. Heck…where are info and spoilers for March?! And I JUST got my February box today..there are always issues with shipping and why so late. Sometimes I dont even get mine until mid month into the next month and after I email.

I kinda wonder if this will be one of those boxes eventually that will take everyone’s money and run. Its said on a youtube video that the company was being ran ” in the red” every month.

And yeah, the fake reviews from people you know that work for the company are great as well.

Tiffany

They put the post out about not sending out anymore products from DLS AFTER they sent out the Luna by Luna Lip Oil. That’s why they addressed the situation and said they wouldn’t ever send a product from them again. When have they sent out Wish palettes? Ive never gotten anything from Fashionsta that was Wish quality. They send out products from Indie and lesser known brands but that doesnt mean the products are bad. I love the products I get from Fashionsta because they aren’t products you can find in every other beauty sub out there. They’ve also always been very upfront about the fact that they are a newer sub box so they are still working out all the kinks with shipping. They let us know in January that our February box would be late. I dont understand why people who dont like what they get in their monthly box and who have a huge issue with getting their boxes late even subscribe to it? If I dont like a beauty subscription box I cancel it, I dont complain about it and then continue to subscribe to it.

Reidy

What was the drama? I missed it all. That moisturizer was trash.

Pamela

The oil says it’s featured in all Feb boxes and the palette says it’s in all Feb varieties but doesn’t mention it will be in all boxes. Does this mean only a select number of people will receive it or will the palette be in every box?

Reply ButtonReply

amber

They do a mystery box too, maybe that’s what they mean by all varieties? I believe all monthly subscription boxes are always the same, with a potential for shade variations.

Reply ButtonReply

Tiffany Schmidt

The boxes always have the same contents, they never have different variations. The only differences are different shades in lip products. That’s one of the many reasons I love this sub some much, everyone gets the same products

Tiffany Schmidt

I’m super excited to February’s Box! That palette is gorgeous and I love facial oils. I’ve been subbed since October of 2019 and it’s been my favorite beauty sub box ever since! I’m so glad MSA is reviewing it now and posting spoilers!

Lori

I don’t like the configuration of that palette.

melissa

i got the Fashionsta box this month because i am cancelling boxycharm! So excited

Beccah

I wish I had subbed when it was $19.99! I am thinking of subbing to this anyway. It actually looks better than Boxy & Ipsy at this point!
