December 2019 Super Chewer "Winter Wild" Review

Each box arrives with an information card with details about the items included. This month is "Winter Wild" themed, which is nicely wintry and still doggo-focused.

Pork Recipe Dog Treats, 4.5 oz

My sweet boy is very food-motivated, and I love these smallish, chewy treats for him. He really is a good dog, but we're still polishing up his manners, so I love using these to help him sit on command every time I ask. As with all these treats, they seem like high-quality ingredients, and they don't have a bad smell.

Super Chewer Trail-Mix-Style Dog Treats, 4.5 oz

I can't believe I'm this excited about dog treats, but wow - these are awesome! I can smell both the cranberry and the ginger in these little nuggets - they smell like cookies, for real! A brave friend met Arch for the first time, and I brought this bag along; my friend totally tried them. He said they tasted largely of peanut butter, and besides not having any discernible sugar in them, and that they actually weren't bad. Thankfully, Arch also loves them, too!

Brunt the Bear - Retail Value $14

This toy was made for Archie! Brunt is a great idea for toy destroyers, because the strip of fur is designed to be removed, and reveals more texture underneath. Arch had so much fun with this, and I can't lie - watching him roll it all around the house with his nose has made the list of my top favorite things to do. This is so well-made, and much like my very favorite toys in this box, is lighter than other tough toys.

Glacier Ball - Retail Value $14

Definitely my favorite toy this month - this thing is lightweight, bouncy, and really fun to play with! Arch doesn't quite have the hang of fetch yet (he tends to simply "keep," instead of "retrieve"), but this is really helping him get the hang of it. This toy is also super human-friendly, too - the floating ball in the middle is so neat to watch!

Super Chewer December 2019 Lamb close

Lamb Stick, 2.4 oz

Just like its chicken counterpart last month, this hard and crunchy treat was certainly loved by Arch, and again, I cannot stress how awesome it is to have treats to give him that aren't funky-smelling, and that don't make him smell! He really enjoyed this (it could be just me, but I do think he loves lamb), and this time, I actually broke it up into pieces so that it would last longer.

Verdict: Boy, I really love Super Chewer (and so does Archie)! I think the best part is how innovative these toys are and how long they last. There's always a cool element to the toys, like the fur on Brunt that's meant to be removed, and the bouncing ball inside of the glacier ball. They also last! Archie's still playing around with the toys from November's "Thanksniffing" box, and for him to have not destroyed them in the time since we received them feels like a bit of a miracle. I'm really glad he's going to have these ones for a while, too - and I might need to buy a basket to corral all his toys. The treats were high-quality again, and I've definitely been loving the trail-mix ones. Because of these, Archie now knows the word, "cookie," and his ears perk up when he hears it (me too, bud). I cannot wait to see what comes from them next!

I just signed up and I have to say their customer service is top notch. My Lily DESTROYED the chess link chew toy in less than an hour. They wrote back to learn about her and her play style and replaced it with a new immediately.

My 9 pound poodle is also enjoying the treats, and licking peanut butter from the larger toys. So happy I subscribed, and took advantage of the double-the-box promotion.

I’m so glad their CS took care of you and Lily! Archie is starting to really dig into the chess toy by now, too, so it’s understandable!
