I’m happy for the variety, and will give away the things that others may appreciate more. Everything in this box is suppose to bring comfort, enjoyment, and a sense of stewardship to the planet. Find patience when working with Customer Service & see the positive in this box. It’s not for everyone, and that’s okay too. Find your happiness.

❤️ Your comment.
I like this sub box and it makes me feel happy even though I don’t love everything in it 100% of the time.
The intention of this sub is not suited for “getting your money’s worth” mentalities. Happy to see some positivity here 🙂 so thank you.

I see a lot of comments on various boxes asking why boxes don’t have ‘themes’. A theme is not needed. I love an eclectic mix. That’s what makes a box fun and unique.

When this box first came out, there were a lot of comments saying how excited they were about it because they expect Ellen to offer items that aren’t typical in most boxes. And it has. What other box are you going to find a white noise machine, or a coffee book about dogs, or a dry erase board? This box is obviously not for everyone (this season’s box isn’t for me), but I think that despite what some people say, they really do like the subscription box basics with themes, high end beauty and jewelry. And that’s okay. But I personally do find a more eclectic mix refreshing.

I personally surprise that this box is still around. I have horrible experience with their customer service. I respect people who like the box, but to me, every box is full of random items Ellen receives as a promotion from different vendors. If they don’t get enough promotional items, seems like, their marketing team drives to 99c store and buy things to fill up the box.
P.S. This is my personal opinion. Even Ellen put gold coin there, I would not be tempted due to nonexistence of CS.

We are so sorry that you feel this way about your current box experience with us.

We have worked hard to ensure that all of our backend problems from our Holiday Box do not carry over to our Spring Box. We are very excited about the Spring Box launch and hope that you are looking forward to your box!

If you would like to discuss your concerns further over the phone, we would love for you to reach out to [email protected] with the subject line “MSA CALL” so that we can personally give you a call and talk further about your experience and any questions you may have regarding your subscription.

So what are the “premiums” that people paid for and never received?

Sharon

Hmm, I guess negative comments are being filtered out.

Reply ButtonReply

AH

?? I see nothing but negative comments–doesn’t seem like they’re being filtered?

Nah, major hard pass on this whole sub. I loved the first box and the second was ok, but all others after that were horrible. The Winter box was by far the worst, not the least of which was the fiasco of getting charged twice. After numerous emails, it took over a month for them to credit the double charge. Meanwhile, my credit card was charged interest on their mistake. This sub can suck it.

Aw man, I want the dry erase board but nothing else.

$24.37 on Amazon.

Easy pass. CS for this box is SO BAD. This box isn’t for me, but even if I did want some of this stuff I wouldn’t order again.

I have to say that while this is my favorite trainwreck of a box, these spoilers aren’t awful.

Jenn

I wonder when the spring box will ship. They released the spoilers for the box but I haven’t received any email updates about the box. I signed up with the premium subscription when they started it. Hoping to hear something soon and for there to be something for the Premium subscription this time!

Rose

This is such an odd subscription. Who likes giant dog books, gorilla bracelets, has children, doesn’t need prescription sunglasses AND drinks teas. That’s quite a niche.

Reply ButtonReply

Mia

Me haha. Those things aren’t that unique.

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

Except for human children…me, too, lol. Fur children, of course have them!

rose

It seems like the curators tend to choose items that really only appeal to very select individuals (a dog book, cards for children, etc.). Perhaps they could curate boxes for one group at a time, and make the box theme clear in the spoilers? At least they can then get a cohesive theme for a box, and people can actually get excited for the box that they buy. I’m just trying to think of a way that they can improve the feel of this sub, as its curation is really all over the place, and doesn’t look to be improving.

I’m still wondering what extras I get for the “Premium” membership. Paying extra for????? I love Ellen and have faith that the boxes will get better but the jury is still out.

Reply ButtonReply

AnninVA

Both of you and anyone else who bought the “premium” membership- please report back. It would be nice if Liz did a post on this and solicited responses from her audience to see if anyone actually got anything tangle for the extra $ spent on the membership.

Lee

I upgraded to the premium and am curious as well. 🙂

This is the first lifestyle box in a loooooong time where everything is something that I actually want or need but I’ve read too many horror stories about billing and canceling to sign up.

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah

Smart. Their CS is terrrrrrrrrible. I would actually use everything listed, but I am staying far, far away.

Fool me once.

Reply ButtonReply

Pilar

I’m surprised Ellen would endorse this.

After hearing all the horror of the Be Kind box I’m glad this doesn’t look appealing. I agree those sunglasses look awful on me and I don’t need a dry erase board or more lipbalm or cards from Little Renegades. I like the chocolate, tea and grocery bags but I can buy those myself. Whew!

Reply ButtonReply

Michele

Sadly another yuck box from Ellen. Those reusable grocery bags are nice. I got them at Marshall’s for 4.99 for the 3 bags. At least I’m not tempted to get the box. Saves me a lil money.

Reply ButtonReply

Anna Banana

She could put Chanel in the box, and I still wouldn’t bite after all the horror of the past boxes. Fool me once…

Reply ButtonReply

rose

Yeah…I’m afraid I’m also of this mindset. The first box was pretty good in comparison to every other box the came out after it. I know I’m biased (because I don’t like most of the products in this box), but I’m wondering how long this sub will stumble along for until it disappears in a puff of smoke.

Cant wear sunglasses because of glasses and already have a dry erase board. Do love endangered species chocolate though. Still think I will cancel.

Reply ButtonReply

Redhed36

If you watch the video about 2:33 minutes in it shows more of the items. You just have to figure out what they are.

I see;
– VAHDAM Teas 3pc tea set ~$35 value
– Kind Lips 3pk variety set $15 value
– Endangered Species Chocolate in Oat Milk Rice Crisp in Dark Chocolate 2 bars (I think) $3.29×2
– Little Renegades Mindful Kids Cards $19.99
– The be Kind item is the reusable bags.

If I’m right the value isn’t there for me. I don’t drink tea and that’s a big part of the box. And the cop glasses don’t look good on my round face. I like the selection though.

It looks like a black be kind umbrella too!

DIFF sunglasses make me look like a MALE 1970s highway patrol cop! LOL. Got a pair from FabFitFun last year and I’m still embarrassed to wear them in public. What does it say about a company when you look better in a pair of sunglasses you got from Walmart for $75 LESS than their sunglasses cost?

Reply ButtonReply

Autry

Unlike most, I love the aviator style sunglasses. They’re classic and functional. They’re so much better than those huge monstrosity sunglasses in BOS.

Reply ButtonReply

Zo

I don’t sub but I like (and would use) all of the spoilers.

AnninVA

I think steam came out of my ears when she said “How do we make money on this?” By cheating your customers, Ellen!

Ooooh, this looks good!
