The FabFitFun Box is a quarterly subscription from FabFitFun.com. Each season they send you a box of $200+ worth items in categories like beauty, fashion, and fitness.

FYI – FabFitFun transitioned to a new Warehouse Management System in the past few months and there have been some issues in shipping since then. Some readers have reported not receiving their Summer Box or Summer Edit sale items yet. We’ll update when we have more information, but please keep in mind that shipping may be delayed with FabFitFun orders currently.

Each season, FabFitFun features a different design for their box - and they are always so pretty!

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: FabFitFun Box

The Cost: $49.99 a box sent every quarter

After that, your next box will be the Winter Box, for which you will be charged $49.99 in 21 days. You are not obligated to stay subscribed for the Winter Box and can cancel at any time.

The Products: The hottest seasonal items (worth at least $200) selected by the FabFitFun team

Ships to: US and Canada

Check out all of my FabFitFun Box reviews and the Women’s Subscription Box Directory!

FabFitFun sends out a mini mag in each box. It details the items included and also provides background on some of the featured makers and designers. You'll also find exclusive coupons for the brands featured in the box.

Now, time for the items! (If you aren't familiar, FabFitFun lets subscribers pick several of their items each season - I'll show you what I picked for each selection.)

First choice item:

All subscribers will be able to pick Pick Kate Somerville® Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream, UnHide Lil’ Marshmallow, Jonathan Adler Fleur De Sel Ceramic Candle, Rebecca Minkoff Marled Beanie & Armwarmer Set, or R+Co TELEVISION Perfect Hair Shampoo + Conditioner.

My Pick:

UnHide Lil’ Marshmallow - Retail Value $65 value

  • 100% Faux Chinchilla Polyester
  • Plush 1000-gram weight
  • Polyester Velvet backing
  • Machine Wash and Hang Dry or Dry Clean.
  • Made in China
  • 50" X 60"

Hands down, this is my favorite item in the box. (And I really like everything in this box!) In fact, I think it is fair to say this is one of my favorite items from a subscription box ever! It's a super soft faux fur blanket that is SO cozy. I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of it considering it fits in the FabFitFun box, too. And I believe you can never have enough faux fur blankets, so I'll be buying the UnHide The Marshmallow blanket as well (FabFitFun subscribers get 20% off!)

Second choice item:

All subscribers are able to pick PJ Salvage Faux Fur Trim Cable Slippers S/M & M/L, Erno Laszlo Pore Cleansing Clay Mask, ban.do Bluetooth® Shower Speaker, OR Lashes M.D. Eyelash Conditioner

My Pick:

PJ Salvage Faux Fur Trim Cable Slippers - Retail Value $45

I'm going for a cozy winter box theme, so these slippers were an easy choice. I'm a size 9 in shoes, and the M/L fit perfectly. These slippers have a padded foot bed, and are completely lined in faux fur with a cable knit exterior. Two faux fur items in one box? Yes, please!

Third choice item:

All subscribers get to pick Karuna Face For All Face & Eye Mask Set, Battington Lashes Monroe 3D Silk Lashes and Glue Kit, Adore by Swarovski Organic Circle Bracelet, OR Rodial Beauty Soft Focus Glow Drops.

My Pick:

Karuna Face For All Face & Eye Mask Set - Retail Value $42

This set includes:

  • Age-Defying+ Face Mask: Reduce the signs of aging.
  • Anti-Oxidant+ Face Mask: revive and protect.
  • Exfoliating+ Face Mask: Exfoliate and restore oily skin.
  • Hydrating+ Face Mask: deep condition skin.
  • Clarifying+ Face Mask: deep clean and clear pores.
  • Brightening+ Face Mask: brighten dark spots and smooth.
  • Renewal+ Eye Mask: revive tired eyes and dark eye circles.

My skin feels extra dry thanks to the cold weather, so this mask set was an easy pick. I've used the eye mask and the age defying and hydrating face masks so far - all hits! I like that these sheet masks are very thin - it makes them easy to fit to my face and stay in place. All masks have left my skin feeling dewy and hydrated, and I like that I'll be able to a lot of Karuna's offerings and find a few favorites. (And all their formulas are free of parabens, dyes, and mineral oils.)

Fourth choice item:

Annual subscribers can pick Beauty Bakerie Proof is in the Puddin’ Palette, LXMI Pure Nilotica Melt 1.7 oz, Paper Source 12 Month Rose Floral Planner, OR Vooray Sidekick Crossbody Bag

(Annual subscribers get to pick their item. Seasonal subscribers will be surprised.)

My Pick:

Paper Source 12 Month Rose Floral Planner – Retail Value $27.95

Cover measures 6.75" X 8.25"

This planner features a floral cover with gold foil embossed lettering reading, "two thousand and twenty." As far as planners go, I'd say this one is on the smaller side, which is perfect for me. I love the lined columns for the weekly layout - I try to work through a to do list each day, and that's really all I need. It also features the monthly view at the start of each month. And it has a gold elastic band to keep it closed and sparkly!

Fifth choice item:

Pick Vera Mona Color Switch Solo, Frank Body 200g Original Coffee Scrub, OR AHAVA Salt Bag – 11 oz

(Annual subscribers get to pick their item. Seasonal subscribers will be surprised.)

My Pick:

Frank Body 200g Original Coffee Scrub- Retail Value $16.95

This is a loose body scrub made with coffee grounds and all natural ingredients. If you take your showers in the morning, I think this is the perfect scrub for waking up - the coffee scent is strong! You apply it to wet skin, massage, then rinse - pretty much like your standard scrub. Though since this is a loose formula, your skin will need to be wet for it to stick. It left my skin just faintly moisturized - no oilyness at all.

I have been wanting to try a loose scrub, but now that I have, I'd say it isn't for me. The formula is a great exfoliator, but it's also messier than your standard scrub, and I like to keep my shower cleanup as minimal as possible!

Now that we've gone through all the choice options, here are the items all subscribers will receive:

Makeup Eraser – Original Pink- Retail Value $20

This is one of those magical beauty products like a WetBrush or a BeautyBlender that seems too simple to work, but then you use it, and you'll never doubt its powers again. With the Makeup Eraser, you just wet it with water and easily wipe off any makeup from your face. Eye makeup included - and it just works! Plus it's machine washer safe!

Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler - Retail Value $23

I'm a big fan of Drybar - both their products and their salons, so I was very happy to see this in the box. It's a great detangler, and leaves your hair smelling lovely, too! And it's also a heat protectant. Basically, it's all the things my hair needs post-shower. And it is free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, phthalates, and silicones.

And the last item is a surprise item. FabFitFun will send you either NailsInc Thirsty Hand Mask OR Cuccio Somatology CALM + CLEAN Epsom Salt Hand and Body Wash.

I received:

Cuccio Somatology CALM + CLEAN Epsom Salt Hand and Body Wash - Retail Value $39.95

Another ingredient-conscious beauty item! This hand and body wash is made with Pro Vitamin B5 and Shea Butter to make it extra hydrating. (And the lavendar oil makes it smell fantastic in my opinion.) I've noticed my hands getting extra dry lately (probably a combination of heavy use of hand soap + hand sanitizer), so I'm switching to this as my hand soap to help my hands recover!

Verdict: This box has a value of $211-$345+ depending on which items you pick. I think that's great for $49.99. (It works out to $6.25 an item). I think this is one of the best boxes FabFitFun has ever done. I think the faux fur blanket alone is worth the cost, and I really was impressed with all the items that were options this season. (A good mix of beauty and non-beauty items, too!) The only item that wasn't a good fit for me was the coffee scrub, but I've been wanting to try a loose scrub, so I'd much rather try it through FabFitFun at a deep discount than pay full price to try it, so I even consider that a win!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? As of today, 12/2 yes! (You'll be able to make your product selections after you sign up.)

I got this box recently and LOVE it! This is the first time I’ve subscribed in a while and it was totally worth it. I picked the Unhide blanket, the slippers (in a Large,) the Rodial glow drops, and then I received at random the Prep Rally, Color switch, Makeup Eraser, Body/Hand wash, and Beauty Bakerie palette. I also added on the Beanie/arm warmer set and an Aquis hair towel kit. I would have loved the shower speaker, planner and hand masks and ALMOST bought another box for them but decided not to. 🙂 Overall everything fit as expected (the slippers), had the quality I expected and felt like a great value for the $70 I spent after add-ons.

My ONLY complaint is that they use Fedex Smartpost – it took my box two weeks to arrive after finding its way into wrong trucks once it arrived near my house (I have had multiple problems like this with FedEx and other boxes.) I plan to stick around for the spring spoilers given the success of this box and hope it’s as appealing as this one. 🙂 So sorry to everyone who wasn’t a fan of this quarter but I was in the group who felt this box was made for me.

Box twins!!❤ I’ve been subscribed for a couple of years now & I really loved this box. It’s exactly what Fabfitfun needed to keep me subscribed, after the Fall box.

I made the mistake of ordering an extra winter box when the black Friday sale was open. I got it today and I am so freaking disappointed. Every item I received is the least item I liked. Seriously. It couldn’t get any worse choices! And whats with the $10.50 hand masks (£8) or $40 body wash???
They can have this box back!

Reply ButtonReply

amyr

The winter box is the best box of any of this season. I have never been as pleased with a box before. I got the throw, shampoo/conditioner,Kate Somereville, the slippers, the planner, palette (LOVE), the LXMI, the Karuna , Rodial drops, the color switch and the hand/body wash.

I am so happy with the blanket in particular. It is very high quality!

The box rocked!

Jennifer

Have to say that FabFitFun is my favorite box of all time. Nothing goes to waste. I may scoff and criticize initially, but I get so much use out of this box. It is over retail value in the end. This is the equivalent of a Christmas present where you say, “Oh….Socks.” 😱😒…then find later in the year you say, “Oh! Socks!!!”🙌

Reply ButtonReply

Onebengalcat

I love my winter box! Everything I received I will use. All but the eyeshadow pallet. No worries, it’ll be a Xmas gift. The shipping seemed a lot faster this go around also. No complaints here. Keep it up FFF!

Reply ButtonReply

Elena

Why is FFF giving us either a $10 hand mask or a $40 hand soap – such a huge disparity?!

Reply ButtonReply

Katrina

Why do they keep giving same stuff as other Boxes. Suppose to be GEM OF ALL BOXES & UNIQUE. It’s not that now. Sad….

Reply ButtonReply

Cheryl Williams

I agree… I got the hand mask.. If the other item was close to that price, I wouldn’t be as disappointed but dang.. $30 difference?? Maybe they should have given a set of 4 of the hand masks to make up for the huge difference in price.

Reply ButtonReply

Cheryl Williams

Well.. The handmask wasn’t $10, it is $16 so perhaps they could have given us 2 of them or a different item worth that $39 price or closer.

Kathy Piccini

I really loved this box.
I received the Lil Marshmallow blanket, added on the hat n arm warmers, the shower speaker, the Rodial drops, makeup palette n the brush cleaner. Love every single item n that rarely happens with ANY subscription box! N my add-ons from the sale are ALL fantastic as well. Spent $400 in add-ons. SUPER SUCCESSFUL season for this gal. 😊❤

Reply ButtonReply

Kathy Piccini

Oh. And I got super lucky this season with shipping as well. We were billed on the 7th n my winter box + some add-ons (Mer-Sea blanket, Llama blanket, Pudus slipper socks n my pumpkin spice mug) shipped the very next day on the 8th! And the remainder of my add-ons shipped exactly a week after that. Just phenomenal

Where is the code for unhide 20 percent off? Can someone post it please cause I don’t see it and wanted to buy the full size blanket.

Liz Cadman

It’s the FabFitFun offers section when you go to Fabfitfun.com – hope that helps!

Jennifer

Got it thank you

Erin

Just got my box the other day. Overall some great gifts for myself and others for Christmas. I will say I’m really disappointed in the Kate Somerville cream. I didn’t realize that its not full size and I don’t remember reading anywhere that it wasn’t. Kinda feel a bit deceived on that one.

Reply ButtonReply

Rebecca

What size did you get? If it is 1.7 oz that is the full size

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

This was a fantastic box in general and I also really enjoyed the FFF magazine this month, too, with the discussion of how Alzheimer’s impacts women, but that blanket is one of my favorite items from any box, EVER!! My kids keep stealing it from me to watch Christmas movies and I’ve ordered two of them with the discount in hopes of getting mine back!! LOVE that blanket!!

Reply ButtonReply

Diane

This was an amazing box! I added on all choices in selection one except the Kate Sommerville cream. The only item that disappointed me was the candle, the jar is pretty but it has no scent when burning.

Angela

The dry bar DOES have silicones.

I’m
So glad I cancelled FFF so long ago , I see no value what so ever in these boxes . For the price and cheap trinkets I can buy for better quality somewhere else and pick what I want . I just feel there a rip off , I bought two when it’s half off and have always put the stuff in “ the idk wth to do with this pile “ lol I do have that pile .. I usually donate , but some of this stuff I wouldn’t even .. oh well to each his own

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

Just curious on what items you “wouldn’t even donate”? I keep seeing people say they just throw stuff away, and I’m just blown away by that. I don’t see a single item here that someone wouldn’t appreciate being donated.

Reply ButtonReply

Linda

I loved everything I got. One thing you might want to throw out would be the coffee scrub. It is hard on the drains. If you have a slow drain it might stop it right up. I’m not sure why they would make such a thing. I learned my lesson a few years ago.

katie

I have to agree. Even though there are a few things I wouldn’t really like , I can totally see someone else liking it. I would definitely donate what I wouldn’t use. I don’t get the “throwing out” logic. But I do live within a couple blocks of thrift stores so its very easy for me to have a place to donate.

Alexis

Yes, to each their own. But I feel 40 bucks for one box is very reasonable for 7 or more well known, full size items for different areas of life: beauty, health, fitness, mindset, activities, etc.
There are usually at least 4 things I definitely want. And the rest I put in my gift pile. I love giving presents. Especially if I get invited to a birthday of a friend of a friend, so I don’t really know the person, I have a few things to choose from to stick in a gift bag so I don’t arrive empty handed but I’m also not spending money on a stranger 🙂

I received my box last week – despite being a seasonal member – and I LOVE it. That blanket! So SOFT. So WARM. I can’t stop stroking it. Also, I am a total cat magnet whenever I have it on my lap, so that’s fun.

I like the slippers, too, but I have doubts as to whether they’ll last beyond the season. I’ve only been wearing them a week and already the foam sole has mostly flattened out. They sure are cozy, though.

I picked the Rodial glow drops for my third item. I like the formula – it works well as a primer and isn’t a total glitter bomb like I feared – but the dropper it came with doesn’t work. Bummer.

FFF chose items four and five for me. I got the Beauty Bakerie palette, and I’m pleasantly surprised by the size and quality. The shimmer shades are legit – beautiful colors (Chia Pudding is especially gorgeous) and very pigmented. The mattes were buttery as well. I don’t know that I’ll ever use the orange shade (unless I’m ever at a Clemson game), but the rest are nice, warm-toned neutrals.

My fifth item was the coffee scrub. I’m not much for loose scrubs for the same reason as Liz – they’re pretty messy! – but I’m glad to have an exfoliant for the winter months, when my legs are super dry and gross.

My one big disappointment is that I never received the R&Co shampoo and conditioner set I added on. I wasn’t charged for it, either, so I’m not out any money, but I don’t know why it didn’t go through – it was on the “My Box” tab until I was billed (I have a screenshot). I assume FFF was running low on stock and couldn’t honor the added-on sets, but a heads up would have been appreciated.

Reply ButtonReply

Marcianna

I didn’t receive an add on I selected when I made my choices & like you it wasn’t in my box not was I charged. I chatted with customer service & they say they are sending it out & charged me $10 instead of $15. You might contact them if you really want your item. Will I receive it? Remains to be seen.

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

Thank you for the honest review! I was second guessing myself over not choosing the coffee scrub, but I feel so much better now!

I fell in love with coffee scrubs after trying the Bath and Body Works ones a couple years ago, but all of the ones I’ve tried since have been a let-down–either too dry and not effective or they leave a greasy feeling.

I bought the Anthopologie Mer Sea sugar scrub from the add-on sale and it was AWESOME. Hope it makes an appearance in a future edit or add on sale.

Reply ButtonReply

Rose

I don’t consider my skin sensitive by any means and the coffee scrub gave me severe hives. I’m so thankful I didn’t use it on my face! My sister said it made her skin bright red for a few hours. It seems just like coffee grounds and so I’m still shocked to have had hives, as I have gotten them maybe twice in my almost 40 years. And yes, my shower needed cleaned after I used them. It did smell amazing as my hive-y self wiped down the tub though. 😉

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

You’re not allergic to nuts or soy, are you? Because the scrub has both almond oil and soybean oil in it, and what you’re describing sounds like an allergic reaction.

Lori

Omgosh, that sounds horrible! I’m so sorry!

Tamara

I haven’t ordered a FFF box in a while but I got this one. Really wanted the throw. I got it yesterday (with one add-on – no problems there.) I am LOVING the slippers! And just in time as it is FREEZING today! They’re so warm and soft! I hope they last as I love them 😀 I didn’t get to chose the fourth or fifth items. I wasn’t crazy about any of the items from the 4th group.I was leaning toward the eyeshadow palette since I love them, but this one looks a bit warm for me. Well that’s what I got so I’ll try it out and see. 🙂 For the fifth I was hoping for the color switch but really did not want the salts. I got the scrub and I’m happy with that. I love scrubs but I’ve never used a coffee one so I get a chance to try it.

Overall, I’m really happy with this box! YAY!

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

Out of four options, the only item I didn’t want is the eyeshadow palette. So of course, I got the eyeshadow palette. Up for swap!

Reply ButtonReply

Lindley

Hey I’m getting the planner in my box and would love to have to eyeshadow palette. If you want to trade just let me know. Thanks

Reply ButtonReply

katie

got my box this weekend and I’m so pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the lil marshmallow. It’s crazy warm for how lightweight it is….my dog has already tried to steal it for her own 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

LisaFalana

I have dog issues too… they’re both snuggled in the throw looking at me like I’m the one with the problem. 😂😂😂

Reply ButtonReply

Jenn

FabFITfun but there were zero fitness items, even among the selected ones. Exactly why I stopped getting it. The early boxes came with great fitness stuff like a Zumba workout dvd with shakers. I had it for a year and was very disappointed with the fitness aspect.

Reply ButtonReply

Erin

I thought the Drybar spray had silicones? I love this box too!

Reply ButtonReply

Angela

I replied but it keeps not posting my direct reply. Sorry if this repeats. It does have silicones. You can copy the ingredients and take it to the website, is it CG. Amodimethicone/Morpholinomethyl Silsesquioxane Copolymer

Reply ButtonReply

Katy

I would order this box because I would like any of the items chosen for me. I’m concerned about the shipping issues though. Are these guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas? There are a couple of things I would want to gift so I’m worried that it wouldn’t get here in time.

Reply ButtonReply

Kylie

I’m a first time subscriber. I signed up on nov 27. And in my account and email, it said that the box shipped on December 3. It never arrived, so I finally contacted FFF last week. They found out that there was a mistake and the box was never sent. It’s going to take an additional 3-4 weeks to arrive. They gave me a $10 credit on a future purchase, but I’m kind of turned off by the whole thing. I was really looking forward to receiving my box and it feels like a very long time to wait and not a very good job at addressing the issue by the company.

Reply ButtonReply

theworldofdale

I obviously can’t speak to everyone’s experience but I received my Winter box already and the shipping has actually been faster for me since they switched providers.

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

Same here, and I’m a seasonal subscriber. I was billed on Nov. 20th, it shipped on the 21st, and arrived on the 27th. Very impressed with how fast I got it.

Heather

They are not guaranteed to arrive by Christmas. My box last year was billed on November 10th and did not arrive until January. Real bummer. They have said they are working on warehouse system improvements for the last 2 years, but they never seem to figure it out.
