The theme for the upcoming GlobeIn October 2019 Box is…Revive!

Hey Friends,

Feeling a need to snuggle-up at home and treat yourself to some personal pampering? Perhaps you need some relief from a long day and have the desire to unwind into something cuddly. Well I say, workaholics unite! Commit to another kind of project, and this one has no deadlines in sight. So grab all your lovely rubs, lotions and oils, brush on your favorite face mask, and exfoliate the day away and Revive.

Soothe your aches and pains with a massage or a warm blanket, light your desired scented oil or candle, and reach for all your calming balms, oils, and beloved beauty products. Relax and pat yourself on the back for a hard day’s work, and for voting with your dollar to help artisans build livelihoods all around the world!

Each box will include:

1. Handmade Elephant Heating Pad, India ($25 value)

Measurements: 10"x 8.5"

Materials: Upcycled Cotton Sari

Care Instructions: Handwash only.

Directions: Place in microwave and heat for 1-2 minutes, or until the product warms. Place on the body to soothe aches and pains.

Country of Origin: India.

2. Palm Table Basket, Bangladesh ($20 value)

Measurements: 9" x 8.5" x 3"

Materials: Palm leaf

Care Instructions: Wipe Clean

Country of Origin: Bangladesh

3. Blue Pottery Oil Diffuser, India ($25 value)

Measurements: 3"D x 4"H

Materials: Blue Pottery Ceramic

Care Instructions: Handwash only

Directions: Pour a few drops of your favorite scented wax or essential oil into the top well of the diffuser. Insert a tealight candle into the open cave of the diffuser, and light. The candle will warm the oil, slowly diffusing a pleasant scent into the air for your enjoyment!

4. Assorted Hand-crocheted Headband, Uganda/Peru ($25 value)

Measurements: One Size Fits Most.

Materials: Crocheted Cotton

Care Instructions: Handwash only

Hahaha! Knew it–we were all waiting for the ugly headband spoiler! It would be really pretty if it was a different style, I think.

If I subscribed sometime between now-October I could choose a different theme right? Anyone know how that works?

The only somewhat cool product is the tea light holder, but not for $50 lol

You can choose a different theme. They select a few different options. As far as I can tell, we don’t get to know what those options are in advance though.

The headband is terrible and the elephant heating pad is straight up embarrassing. What are they thinking?

The headband says assorted so you could get the one from the first spoiler. That one is the worst for sure. Only like the basket and the diffuser so probably going to get add-on credit again unless there is a alternative box offered that I like.

There was a brown headband with large buttons on it in the theme reveal, not Spoiler 1,as I thought. Guess they had so many negative comments about how dorky that headband looked, they replaced the picture with the model weary the bulky one shown in all other spoilers now. There is one pic in another spoiler of a cream colored headband that is ok, but assorted does not sound good to me and there could be more options than the three that were pictured. The button one is least appealing for sure.

That headband is not flattering at all. There is too much of it. All I see is static and my ears getting hot.
