SinglesSwag July 2019 Review
Each box comes with an information card listing the items included in the box as well as an encouraging monthly quote.
Mollie Jacob Beach Chic Cosmetics Pouch – Retail Value $28.00
Mollie Jacob is a staple for this box, I have received their makeup and a similar pouch in previous boxes. This blue and white zippered pouch can hold my makeup essentials. There is a coupon code for the month of July for 50% off their website on the info card.
Bash Lash® Essential Serum, 2ml – Full-Size! Retail Value $65.00 (Found here for $52.00)
This eyelash serum intends to get my lashes longer and fuller. I can also use on my brows and it can be used on lash extensions. The 2ml (0.07 fl oz) lasts for 3 months. Here’s a how-to video for proper application. With use once daily, I should see results within 4 weeks. I’m always seeking a mascara, conditioner, or serum to strengthen and lengthen my lashes. I hope this works and will report back if does.
Enclosed in the packaging are instructions, ingredients, and a fold-out of before and after photos of customers.
Popband London “Allegra” Hair Tie Bracelet Set – Retail Value $10.00
These hair ties from Popband are made in London and can be used in my hair or on my wrist. The hair ties are not wide enough to use on my braids, or if a subscriber has thick wavy hair they may not be wide enough as well. The set consists of 5 hair ties in the colors/prints dark blue, coral, turquoise glitter, blue & pink chevron print, and purple & blue chevron print.
From Popband:
Popbands are delicious soft, stretchy ‘no dent’ hair ties that hold ponytails up tight, but still, leave hair fresh and kink-free when you take it down! Plus they won’t rip or damage hair like regular hair bands. When you’re not using your Popband to hold up your hair, wear it on your wrist as a super-cute bracelet.
Here I’m wearing the blue hair tie bracelet on my wrist.
Mr. Brownie Chocolate Brownies 2-pack, 1.76 oz – Listed Value $4.00
This subscription has the best snacks and sweets and this month was another delicious treat. I received Mr. Brownie chocolate brownies with Belgian chocolate chips. The brownies had a moist, rich chocolate flavor and one of the brownies I served warm and the Belgian chocolate chips flavor was enhanced by the heat. The brownies came in a 2-pack and included eggs and flour for those with dietary restrictions. The website didn’t have prices or locations for purchase.
I received a package of 2 chocolate fudge brownies.
Get Gem Pave Triangle Necklace – Retail Value $75.00
This month’s jewelry selection is from Get Gem, “Made With Love.” I received an 18” gold-plated necklace plus a 2” extender with a triangle pendant. This design is lovely and a nicer selection from the previous necklace I have received.
Here is a close-up of the triangular pave CZ pendant. From the information card, “Triangles are often thought to symbolize feminine strength and freedom.”
Here I’m wearing the necklace.
Skin Forum Mask Set – Listed Price $18.00 (Eye Mask $4.00, Lip Mask $4.00, and Facial Mask $6.00)
The Skin Forum Mask Set includes a leopard gold foil eye mask, a leopard gold foil lip mask, and a leopard gold foil face mask. I left the eye and lip mask on for 15 minutes and the lip mask was a full mask that covered my entire mouth. The lip mask intends to soothe, nourish, soften, plump, and give me kissable lips, and the eye mask intends to soothe, nourish, brighten, and tighten under the eye area. The facial mask has two pieces: one is the top part that covers from my forehead to my nose and cheeks and the lower half covers my cheeks, around my mouth, chin, and jawline. I left the facial mask on for 20 minutes and it intends to radiate, soften, soothe, and nourish my skin. My skin looked nourished due to the excess amount of essence from the masks.
Here I am wearing the eye, lip, and facial mask. And a final pic of my clean and refreshed skin.
Naobay Equilibria Face Mist Toner, 6.75 fl oz – Full-Size! Listed Value $24.00
This facial mist toner can be sprayed on my cleansed face to remove impurities or I can use it as a refreshing facial mist. The main ingredients are aloe leaf juice, calendula flower extract, and chamomile flower extract. The toner removed extra grime from my face after cleansing. I finished the Way of Will 20 Sensitive Face Toner from last month’s box. So, this was needed even though I received a toner last month. It’s good to have another especially since this can be left on for a moisturizing and invigorating effect. The stinging sensation from the toner last month didn’t last after multiple uses, and it proved to be an effective and gentle toner after using multiple times.
Verdict: The July SinglesSwag box was an improvement from previous boxes and I’m pleased. The assortment of jewelry, accessories, facial products, and their snack made for a well-rounded box. I’m still waiting for a tech or home item to be included, or an end of summer item. This lifestyle box for women does give its subscribers an assortment of beauty products, jewelry, home goods, bath/shower items, a delicious treat, and the occasional book. SinglesSwag gives out monthly spoilers on their boxes, so be sure to sign up for notifications! This month’s box has a listed retail value of $224.00.

I love that you post pictures with the masks on! You have great skin. 🙂
I think the necklace is pretty but there is no way I would ever pay $75 for it. I do think this was a decent box this month but I still do not think it’s a $40 box, but that is just my opinion of course. The only way I could see myself subscribing is if they were offering a better discount, like I think I have seen a 40% off discount code before and I do think it would be worth it for that.
Code TODAY works for 40% off. I tried it yesterday just to see if it would take and it did.
I think I had an allergic reaction to the necklace. I ended up with an irritation along my neckline.
Aww , bummer! Hope it cleared up soon.
I agree with wanting a tech or decor product.
It is better than the previous months but still missing a wow factor.
I’ve been using Babe Lash Serum for awhile and while I never plucked, let along over plucked my eyebrows, I have hair loss from about halfway to the ends. The Serum allowed my eyebrows to grow in fully within about a month. I tried on my eyelashes but, it always left me feeling like I had gunk/sleep in my eyes. It does work nicely though. It’s worked on my eyebrows and my friends eyelashes.
Those pics of you in the masks are fun!!
I also enjoyed this month’s box, every product was useful. I just subscribed a couple of months ago and enjoy the variety of products. Thanks for showing us what the masks look like on. I now feel more confident to use them. The brownie was delicious and I would like to buy some more.
