Goddess Provisions “Summer Solstice” Review
Here’s the info card with the theme and product list for the month. The theme is “Divine Feminine.”
Let’s dive in!
Magic of I 6-Month Astro Planner – Retail Value $22.00
I love this planner! It is small enough to fit into my bag and it is a super clever 6-month calendar, meaning I am not behind and I also don’t have to wait to use it as it begins in June! My favorite feature of this gorgeous book would be the full astrological calendar and comprehensive moon phases! It also has space for intention setting and measuring goals. The cover is a beautiful vegan white leather embossed in gold. Stunning!
Flying Wish Paper Wish Kit – Listed Value $5 .00
This kit was just perfect for solstice. One of my favorite summer solstice rituals has always been a massive bonfire, an ancient tradition that is still around today. The summer solstice is closely tied to the sun and fire. This wish kit bridges the optimism of the longest day of the year with that fire Simply scribble your wish on the paper with the included pencil, crinkle it up, form a tube, and light it. The thin paper quickly burns out, leaving a shell that floats off into the sky.
Charged Amazonite Bracelet – Retail Value $25
This bracelet is the most gorgeous shade of blue. These Amazonite beads really pop against the gold plated positive and negative spacer beads. Every single bead has been charged in Sedona, Arizona, a place well known for its shifting frequencies and vibrations. I absolutely love this piece and find that it stacks beautifully with my other favorite bracelets.
teapigs Happy Tea, 2 bags – Retail Value $2.50 (2 pack is currently sold out)
This tea smells so sunny and positive. An energizing blend of citrus, apple, and turmeric, it is sure to lift your spirits as you sip. The gorgeous golden shade is perfect for enjoying at your solstice celebration, or just behind your desk, like me!
Zatik Naturals Gratitude Serum, 1 oz – Full size! Retail Value $32.00
I feel like this seaweed-based serum is a nice compliment to the more fire-based items in this month’s box. Even this solar Leo likes to cool off, and I love sea-influenced skincare. This lightweight serum is formulated with wild-harvested Oregon algae and a powerful blend of oils and fatty acids. I actually received this item back in the Feb/March Love Goodly box, and my feelings are about the same in terms of my skin needing more moisture. It is still a solid (and organic!) choice for someone with normal to oily skin.
PACIFICA Energized Glow Turmeric Spice Facial Mask – Retail Value $4.00
In addition to the cute packaging, this mask also had heart-shaped eye holes! I wish I liked the actual formula better though. I found this mask made my face burn, so much that I removed it after a few minutes. Maybe it is not a good fit for dry skin? The key ingredients here are turmeric, watermelon, and green tea, and it mainly smells like watermelons.
Orange Calcite – Listed Value $4.00
There were a few stones I was expecting from a summer solstice box, and this was one of them! This is a playful stone, known for kicking energies into gear. It is also a stone of happiness, creativity, and sexual expression. Hey, you do you! Solstice and summer are both times for pleasure and indulgence.
The Verdict: I feel like this month’s Goddess Provisions was one of my favorites. It was a really great box! The value was pretty decent as well, landing somewhere around $94.50. It is really hard to pick a favorite item this month, but mine would be either the bracelet or the planner. Both were exceptional choices! The only item I didn’t love was the sheet mask, but that was hardly one of the high-value items and easy to forgive. I think theme-wise this was a home-run, and each item felt thoughtful and high-quality. I am very pleased with Goddess Provisions this month!
