Kinder Beauty Box May 2019 Review

Kinder Beauty Box May 2019 - Info 1 Kinder Beauty Box May 2019 - Info 2

Each box comes with an info card that has each product pictured with a short description and listed value, so you know what each product is worth.

Kinder Beauty Box May 2019 - Scrub 1 Kinder Beauty Box May 2019 - Scrub 2

Bombee Vanilla Bean Sugar Scrub, 2oz  – Estimated Value $8.33 (Buy a 6oz jar for $24.99), Listed Value $10.99

This scrub delights! The spicy vanilla fragrance has me drooling for a chai latte! It has very fine sugar granules that exfoliate and moisturize very lightly. This would be the perfect everyday scrub, and it doesn’t leave an oily residue behind like a lot of scrubs tend to do.

Kinder Beauty Box May 2019 - Akar 1 Kinder Beauty Box May 2019 - Akar 2

Akar Skin Mini Balance Toning Mist – Retail Value $15

Akar Mini Clarify Face Oil  – Retail Value $24

I have to start with the packaging: I love the frosted red glass; it feels so fancy! Each product is heavily fragranced, but the clarifying oil is the only scent that lingers on the skin. I used the balancing mist as a toner and then topped my skin off with my moisturizer with a drop of the oil mixed in, and my face feels nice and soft. I didn’t notice a difference with my complexion, but I’ve only been using each product for the last 2 days.

Kinder Beauty Box May 2019 - Deo 1 Kinder Beauty Box May 2019 - Deo 2

Zion Health ClayDry Deodorant in Original, 0.50 oz.  – Estimated Value $1.60 (Buy a 2.5 oz stick for $7.99), Listed Value $3.49

I don’t know why, but I love trying new natural deodorants. This one smells fruity and applies smoothly like your standard stick. It does not contain aluminum and is a vegan formula, too. After wearing throughout a heinous workday, I felt like I needed a little refresher; luckily, this is a great size to travel with. I felt pretty confident wearing this deodorant, and it is refreshing to find a natural option whose scent isn’t overpowering.

MOTD Cosmetics Get Cheeky With It Blush Brush – Retail Value $16

As well as a makeup hoarder, I, too, am a makeup brush hoarder. I love them all! This soft, synthetic brush is cut at the perfect angle and density for even blush and bronzer application, not to mention the brush head is also the perfect size for chiseling out cheekbones or even highlighting all around the face. No surprise here, the brush is also vegan!

Clove + Hallow Hydratint Blush Serum – Retail Value $20

Cream and liquid makeup are great for a dewy, summertime glow, and it is also so easy to use! I don’t love the clunky packaging of this one, but the serum itself is the bomb. I used just a tiny amount, warming it up between my fingertips then tapped it into my cheeks for a natural, radiant flush.

Kinder Beauty Box May 2019 - Swatch

I love when makeup multitasks by packing in some skincare ingredients, and this one is infused with meadowfoam oil and hyaluronic acid. The first swatch is the concentrated product in the shade Georgia, and the second is the product blended out.

Verdict: Kinder Beauty Box assembled a great box this month. May’s box has a value of $84.93, which is good for a $24 box. I enjoyed using each product sent and will likely get a lot of use out of everything, especially the blush serum and the blush brush!

  1. So far I really like this box! It has gotten better each month!

  2. I also really enjoy trying new deodorants. 🙂 Mostly natural ones as the conventional ones basically seem the same to me. I never would have thought I’d get excited over trying a new deodorant, but beauty boxes in general have brought out the “explorer” in me. 😀

    • Haha, I totally agree! Each new deo is a new adventure 😉

  3. I got the darkest blush serum. If anyone wants it, I put it up on the swap site 🙂

  4. Haha, totally thought the blush serum was a nail polish at first glance. Looks like an interesting product!

    • Lol! Same here! I had to do a double take at the picture when I read the review. 🙂

  5. I like the variety and it’s nicely cured!
