Each box from GlobeIn contains a booklet that talks more about the theme for the box and the items inside.

Just a heads up, since there aren’t prices listed in the booklet for the items, so I’m going off the prices given in this Globein spoilers post for items I couldn’t find online.

Rania Hand-painted Mug, Tunisia – Listed Value $18.00

This style of hand-painted ceramic pottery is a regular in this subscription. I’m starting to develop a really cool collection of colorful pieces! This 6″ has a really unique shape—it’d double as a cute vase for a small bunch of flowers. Hello, simple Thanksgiving centerpiece!

Pink Tigre Palm Leaf Basket, Mexico – Listed Value $12.00

This item is another regular! I’ve got a slew of palm leaf baskets that I’ve received from Globein, and I LOVE them. They’re great for storing odds and ends like remotes, charging cords, spare keys… We even have one on the table next to our front door to keep our sunglasses organized. This 5″ tall basket has a lid and a fun, hot-pink palette.

Mini Bone Frame, India – Listed Value $25.00

Wow! This frame is made from “upcycled bone”! I have to say, I do love the rustic finish and the subtle chevron pattern. The opening in the frame is just 2″ x 2″, so I’m thinking I might print off a favorite photo from Instagram to use with it.

Globe In Appreciate metal bracelet

Globe In Appreciate cuff bracelet

Brass Saifi Cuff, India – Listed Value $15.00

Ooo, I love getting accessories in this box! This metal cuff has a little bit of bend to it, so you can widen or narrow it to fit your wrist. I really like the warm coppery-gold sheen. I hadn’t even thought about what to wear to Thanksgiving yet, so I’m happy to have this bracelet to get my outfit started!

Globe In Appreciate hot cocoa bag

Sweet Justice Hot Cocoa by Dean’s Beans, 8 oz. – Listed Value $10.00, Buy a 12 oz. bag for $6.75 here

This is the one item I was able to find online, but the packaging for the version on the link is a bit different. I’m a big hot cocoa fan, so I’m happy to have some in my kitchen again! And knowing this mix is fairly traded makes this treat all the more sweet.

The Verdict: I liked this month’s GlobeIn box a lot. I will say that folks thinking of subscribing should make sure they’re a fan of baskets and handpainted ceramics—there’s one of each in almost every box, and while the colors and patterns change, the aesthetic stays pretty much the same. If you are a fan, then you’re all set! I feel like the quality of what you get in this box, including the fair trade, ethical aspect, makes it worth it. The curation always seems thoughtful and fun, too. It’s a great subscription if you’re a fan of collecting conversation pieces—each item has a story behind it!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Subscribers have between the 1st and the 10th of the month to pick their box.

  1. This is a lot of money for what’s included.

  2. I got last month’s practical bake box and some add-ons and a mystery box (which wasn’t a past box, but rather a collection of past items and add-ons (dryer balls, an eco plant pot, a tiny dish, etc. – no hero item though.) I ended up skipping this month as the only thing I really wanted from it was the cuff. I’m glad they make it easy to skip so I can wait for a box that is a better fit! I love the bake box rolling pin – it is a bit tinier than I expected, though. But it should be fine for rolling out dough for pie pops!

  3. I subscribed after this box’s spoilers; i think the whole box will make a perfect gift. Then I bought enough add-ons to get a free mystery box which I’m excited about.
