Phyto Intense Hydrating Brilliance Mask – 1.7 oz Retail Value $14

This month, Emma & Chloe included this bonus haircare item!

This is a pricey, luxe haircare brand, and my hair needs all the moisture it can get, so this was a nice addition for me. You apply it post shampooing and leave on for only 2-5 minutes. (A perfect shower mask for me.) I avoided applying it to my roots and concentrated the formula on the ends of my hair. End result? Softer hair and it didn’t add weight/greasiness.

All Emma & Chloe pieces also come with a certificate of authenticity:

And jewelry care instructions:

Verdict: I’m a fan of Emma & Chloe pieces, and this ring is a little out of my comfort zone, but I’m liking it. In general, I’d recommend this subscription if you love delicate jewelry (with a few bold but minimalist pieces). And I love that Emma & Chloe lets you choose your metal color preference and if you want pierced or clip earrings.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? As of publication, your first box will be October.

  1. I really like this ring. I was hoping for the gold but got the silver. I was a little disappointed and still think it looks richer in gold. But I have worn the ring 3 days straight ! It fits perfect because I have thin fingers and wear a 5 3/4. Not something I would of ever purchased for myself but I am enjoying it. I wasn’t too crazy about the bracelet last month but I find myself wearing it as well. Seems this box has me going outside my comfort zone which is what I wanted. Looking forward to next month and I agree the add on was a very nice surprise.

  2. My ring is beautiful! It fits me perfectly, but I have small fingers, size 5 on my ring finger. It is extremely well-made and looks gorgeous on my hand. Is the stone jade? Mine, and the others I have seen make it look much more like Amazonite to me-which is a teal-y green and has the variations they’ve been showing in different previews/reviews.

That’s unfortunate for the folks who pieces have broken or tarnished. I’ve been a subscriber since Feb’16, (I pay full price), and haven’t had any tarnishing issues. Any pieces with defects (twice) they have sent me a replacement immediately no questions asked.

The sestra bague is one of my favorite pieces so far this year! It looks beautiful with the dormeuse earrings from last December.

  3. The promo code FIRSTBOX does not work…is this promotion over?

    • Hi Cathy! Oh no please email us at [email protected] and we will make sure we fix this for you so you can enjoy the promo 🙂

  4. Their packaging and presentation is lovely, but no way is that a hundred dollar ring.

  5. This ring reminded me of a 25cent gum-ball machine ring at the grocery store in the small town I grew up in…

E&C can claim the jewelry is “coated” in whatever they want…but every piece I’ve received has seriously tarnished or literally broken by the 4th wear.

Also, this ring is not like the spoiler…the “stone” is solid turquoise color, with zero marbling like a natural stone. The pictures in spoiler appears like a natural turquoise and shoes black marbling. I’m embarrassed to wear this ring and donated it already.

This WAS my most hopeful sub a year ago….I bought annual, 50% off so I think my net is $30 something a box. Every single month has gone so downhill that I don’t even email customer support for replacements…

    • I have Been getting Emma & Chloe jewelry for over 2 years and I have never had a piece tarnish or break. I have worn the braided bracelet continuallly since I got it over a year ago and it looks brand new with no wear or tarnish. I even had had success with the crescent necklace from the summer. When it is worn on a slight tilt instead of completely down it doesn’t kink.

This is my favorite jewelry sub and I have had great success with it. While not all pieces have been to my taste, I reach for these pieces often. This jewelry is much better crafted and made of more solid materials than the other sub I tried which gives quantity over quality.

      • Wow – it sounds like you’ve had a different experience. The crescent necklace I received broke at the clasp my first time wearing. I first received it in gold and silver. The first one I returned because it came so tangled and kinked it was damaged out of the box. The one with the broken clasp kinked also.

Glad you’ve had such a different experience; must be just the ones delivered to me 🙂

        • You’re not the only one. My crescent necklace also broke as soon as I took it out to put it on the first time. I think I got it very discounted for my first piece, so I complained but didn’t ask for a replacement. It’s highly overpriced for costume jewelry that’s not very substantial. Just because it’s created by a designer doesn’t mean anything if you can’t even feel good about giving it as a gift.

  6. I really wish they would make the rings in sizes. It’s too big for me squeezed all the way together and the split band is uncomfortable

    • Opposite problem, same sentiment! I wear a size 9 on my ring finger, but I’d prefer to wear a large ring like this on my middle finger, so I’d need a size 10. It’s very uncomfortable to wear an “adjustable” ring like this.

  7. Liz what Is up with the swap site it is all wonky now? Any update on the changes you mentioned would be implemented?

  8. I love this sub almost every month. It may just be me but this ring felt kind of cheap.

    • I’m glad I waited until after the review to consider ordering. It does look cheap and I do not like adjustable jewelry. That adds to the cheap look in my opinion.
