BoxyCharm August 2018 Theme Spoiler!

Not liking this months box. Looks like my first Boxycharm disappointment! 🤔
The only thing that catches my eye is the Smashbox lip palette.
NO LASHES!!! I’m HIGHLY allergic to all adhesives!!!
I’m not liking the bold colors of the eyeshadow palette and I don’t like masks of any kind either…. unless it’s for hair.

I am not crazy about variation boxes either, wish they we just send everyone the same every month and hold the extras for another month. That being said I would be happy with any except the mascara. I am on overload with that but I could always pass it to a friend. I am loving the eye palette for this month. Those bold colors are exactly what I have been looking for and was excited to see something from Laura Lee. I have not tried anything of hers yet and the last palette she released was a nude one. YUCK. But I absolutely adore this box for the value and good content of items. I would also love if I got that smashbox lip palette, don’t know if everyone is getting the palette or just a lippie, but the palette would be amazing. I never get lip colors I can wear and that you could customize. The nude look makes me look dead. I usually go for bold colors in the purple family, reds, or have been known to wear blue and green. I am really pale but love bold lips. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I’m nota fan of variation boxes — I always get the one I don’t want. Can’t It all just be the same?? Love the blue and purple of this palette.

Wow! Theme fits the box this month. The more I see that blue next to the purple shade in that palette, the more I want to play. Full year this month with Boxycharm and I am good thru October. Very awesome build of makeup stash so that I now know what palettes and formulas I peronally love. My taste has evolved through this sub box and I’m grateful.

Im excited for the fall season, i noticed that most subscription boxes get really good…. im cancelling my coctique subscription… and i havent gotten my 1st box yet.. last months box was great.. this nox doesnt look good… maybe i will resubscribe in October… Boxy im liking the smashbox palette.. i dont care for the mascara… i like variation 1… i can give the mascara away.. i would rather have the eyelashes… but most likely boxy will give me variati ok n 1 because i always get variarion 1… i wonder if it goes my area or by who has signed up and when?

I’m glad I unsubbed back in June, the July and August boxes aren’t exciting enough for me. However, it seems like they haven’t had a wait list in some time and you could sub during the month after seeing full spoilers which is pretty cool. Hopefully when I see a box I like again that will still be the case! Even though the value is great my general rule is it’s a no unless I’d actually buy one of the items. Also I needed a break after disappointingly getting 3 way too brown lip items.

I’m thrilled about the Wander Beauty eye masks, I just bought some from Sephora for full price, so I’m excited to see these.

I resubbed for this box, the palette makes it worth it, the rest is a bonus. I’m hoping for variation one. I’d like the cuticle oil!

I usually get variation 1. Now that I actually prefer it, watch me not get it. I just really don’t want lashes. And what sucks is that I don’t have anyone in my life who uses false lashes so it really goes to waste.

I usually get Box#1, so this looks good.

Only once have I received something other than Variation #1, but if I get a Smashbox lipstick I really want it to be the pink one in the upper right corner of the spoiler photo. Here’s hoping for a variation with pink lipstick, but no falsies.
