I skipped last month – does anyone know if you can skip two months in a row?

None of this month’s choices really appealed to me – four out of the five are some flavor of literary fiction, which is not my jam. I skipped this month; hopefully September’s picks will be more diverse.

I picked The Air We Breathe. I usually pick thrillers so I wanted to try something different.

Dinner, Paris and Appalachian Noir. It’s a good mix.

The Dinner List sounded the most interesting to me, so that’s my pick this month 🙂

I’m torn on which to pick this month. The Paris one seems like an easy read based on the excerpt. The air one sounds interesting but I recently read a similar book. The detective one got mixed reviews and seems like the writing isn’t easy to get through. What’s everyone picking?
