Stitch Fix started offering a styling service for plus sizes, and I couldn't be happier. I signed up on the very first day, of course!

Stitch Fix is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service. When you sign up you take a pretty in-depth survey about your sizes, your style, and pricing preferences. After choosing when youíd like to receive your delivery, your stylist handpicks 5 items based on your preferences. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)

My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Stitch Fix may be completely different!

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing July 2018 Review

This is the invoice that was included in my package. It lists out the items I received and the cost to keep each. I think a 25% discount for keeping everything is pretty generous!

This really fun sheet of cards was also included. It has a note from my stylist in the upper left corner. I really appreciate the personalization that goes into her selections! All the other cards are styling ideas for the items in my box. How clever!

Andra Orbital Drop Earrings by Bancroft - Cost to Keep $28

I LOVE these earrings! They are so pretty and shiny! The interlocking orbs are really cool! I also like wearing big earrings in the summer when I tend to wear my hair up more often. They are a good price, too.

Dorthie Bell Sleeve Top by Satin & Heart

Dorthie Bell Sleeve Top by Satin & Heart - Cost to Keep $54

This poly blend top is totally my style. It has a cool boho print, and the cut is funky and fun, too. The fabric is silky, but it does not seem to breathe very well, and the top has long sleeves, so it does not feel very seasonal. It looks seasonal, but I don't think it will be very comfortable in this heat.

Simon Wide Leg Linen Trouser by Liverpool - Cost to Keep $88

I love a wide leg trouser, and these linen blend ones are just perfect! Of course, I will need to hem them a half inch or so, but that's simply the way of my life. I am not usually a fan of linen because it wrinkles so easily, but these have a slight synthetic content that seems to mitigate the terrible wrinkles associated with most linen garments. I like these a lot!

Lalaine Cutout Sleeve Detail Knit Top by Goldray

Lalaine Cutout Sleeve Detail Knit Top by Goldray - Cost to Keep $48

These sleeve cut-outs are so cute! While I really like the fresh take on the getting-somewhat-stale cold shoulder trend, this top is kind of wrong for me in most other regards. It's too long, which is why I pulled it up a bit, and the fabric is that thick, sort of itchy old-school polyester. I'm afraid this top is a bit of a miss for me.

Benny Maxi Skirt by Fortune + Ivy - Cost to Keep $48

Stitch Fix loves to send me synthetic blend printed maxi skirts, and guess what? That's just fine with me. This one is flattering and comfy, and it's just the right length. I think I preferred the print on last month's skirt better, though. This one is cute, too, but not quite as cute.

Here are details of the top and skirt:

The Verdict: I am a big fan of Stitch Fix! Ths month's box was another great one! I love the earrings and trousers! The skirt is really nice, too. I am enjoying my subscription to Stitch Fix so far, and I think their prices are among the most reasonable. I can't wait for my next Fix!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Stitch Fix curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $266. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I'd end up spending $179.50 for the whole box. Ultimately, that's a savings of about 33%. The average cost per piece in this box is $53.20.

I got that white shirt too! I hated the fabric. I guess they can’t get rid of them!

I got that same white top last month and felt the same way about it. It was strangely heavy and just hung funny.
