Bespoke Post “Aloha” Review – May 2018

The Aloha box has two products inside. But there is one major item – and that’s the Line of Trade Hawaiin shirt.

It comes with an information card with some details about both items.

Line of Trade Hawaiian Shirt – Value $40-50? (based on their other custom shirts)

The hero item of the box is this Hawaiian shirt. It’s from Line of Trade, which is Bespoke Post’s in-house line – with that in mind, these aren’t available in their online store, so I did my best to guess the value based on the other button-up Line of Trade shirts that are available.

The quality of this shirt is super high. The material is a bit thicker than I expected, it’s not that light-and-breezy type of shirt.

While I’m not really sure about Hawaiian shirt in general, I didn’t hate it. My grandfather used to consistently wear shirts like this, so this was a bit of a blast from the past. The fit was as expected.

EiR Surf Mud – Value $6 based on 2-ounce full-size pricing

The second item is a small one. This is a facial moisturizer, SPF 30 sunscreen, and leave-in hair conditioner in one – that just sounds crazy to me!

On top of that – it smells great, thanks in part to the use of Cocoa powder! They also note that you’ll want to store this in a cool environment since the Cocoa powder is organic.

Here’s a breakdown of the ingredients from their website:

  • Zinc Oxide – An all natural, non-chemical protection against UVA and UVB light rays. Helps to prevent burns, signs of photo-aging and irritation.
  • Beeswax – Creates a barrier which helps to seal moisture into the skin making the product water repellent.
  • Cocoa Butter – It is high in fatty acids help penetrate to the skin for deep hydration. Improves skin tone & elasticity, keeping the skin young & healthy.
  • *Coconut Oil – Soothes eczema, sunburn and psoriasis, and its antiviral and antifungal benefits even help to treat bug bites.
  • Cocoa Powder – Packed with antioxidants that help repair skin cells and neutralize harmful free radicals. Loaded with antioxidants, cocoa protects the skin from harmful UV rays and acts as a natural sunscreen. Promotes blood flow and increase cellular healing to develop a sunkissed glow.
  • Vitamin E Oil – Boosting collagen production, a connective tissue that keeps skin elastic. Used as a natural preservative.
  • Tea tree Essential Oil – Has a cooling effect on the system and reduces inflammation. Helps skin heal from burns, prevent acne, and a natural bug repellent.

Verdict: The quality of the shirt is really high – so if you’re into Hawaiian shirts, then this could be a good find for you!

  1. Very nice colors on the shirt and it looks good on you, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one worn with a tee underneath!

  2. Two thumbs up!

  3. Liz, you should wear the duster from spring box of style and go on a date together!
