Pop Shop America Monthly Print Box March 2018 Review

Each box comes with a card listing the box’s contents and the total retail value. This month's total value is estimated to be $32.00, which....as you may find by the end of this review...seems a bit high.

Damask Rose Botanical Print – Retail Value $22.00

This delicate flower print is stunning. It arrived in a protective clear cover, and it's printed on firm paper with a weighty cardstock backing included for secure matting or framing. The petals really look three-dimensional—I rubbed my fingers over it thinking they were actually pressed petals, but it's just very skillful illustration!

I'd love to frame this with an unexpectedly bright-colored frame. A touch of styling mixin' and matchin' never hurt anyone!

This is the second box I've received from Pop Shop America, and both have come with a specially-wrapped goodie. It feels like Christmas unwrapping a tissue-covered item within the box! Their attention to detail is so wonderful.

August & Oak Potted Thyme Greeting Card – Retail Value $5.25

This was the surprise goodie I unwrapped! It's a gorgeous greeting card made by August & Oak, who specializes in colorful cards, wall art, party paper goods, calendars, and journals. The inside of the card is blank, which I love—I'm getting better and better at keeping cards on-hand for surprise celebratory occasions! I'd be proud to give this card to one of my closest friends.

Printable Adult Coloring Pages – Estimate Retail Value $0.00?

These...these felt a bit disparaging to receive. The pages were very wrinkled when they arrived, but that's the nature of the printer paper they were illustrated on. They're part of a series from Pop Shop America's Adult Coloring Pages, which you can download and print for free on their site here. I know I'd have a fun, relaxing time coloring these in, but I hope these weren't assumed to part of the $32.00 box value!

Cactus Gift Tags – Estimated Value $0.50

And, last we have these cacti-printed gift tags! I loved the twine that tied them together—I'll always be a sucker for rustic touches when it comes to gift-wrap! From what I gathered, it looks like these could be a part of Pop Shop America's Terrarium Gift Tag Printables, which can also be downloaded and printed for free on their site. These are printed on thicker cardstock, so I upped their estimated value just a tad, but they still don't feel like something to write home about.

Verdict: I was, unfortunately, let down by this month's Monthly Print Box. Last month, I received their Monthly Pop Box, which is a combination of a bit of all their boxes, and it was amazing! This one fell flat simply due to the quality of the added goodies. The pressed flower print is beautiful, and I do think it's worth the $22.00 price tag. I also loved the care that Pop Shop America put into creating a theme and packaging their items to suit the green, desert vibe!

This month's total value is $27.75, which is slightly higher than the $26.47 box cost ($24.00 a  month plus $2.47 shipping to PA) but does not meet the $32 promised value. I feel there's a big disconnect regarding cost vs. actual value.

To Wrap Up

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You can buy a number of the items I received on their own, but you'll receive a random assortment of Pop Shop America goodies when you order the Monthly Print box. Each box ships within two days of purchase!

Value Breakdown: This box cost me $24.00 + $2.47 shipping to PA, which means that each of the 5 items in the box (stickers not counted and coloring pages counted as two prints) has an average cost of $5.29.
