brush descriptions

The info card comes with a photo and short description of how you can use each brush. I’ve noticed a lot of these have multiple uses, and at the end of the day, you can really use each brush for whatever suits your needs best!

It’s good to note that you can check their blog for a video rundown of the brushes and how to use them as well. I am by no means a makeup guru, just a regular gal trying to do her best with these brushes!

This is the first month I’ve received four brushes again (like last month)! One of them has the same matte black rounded handle with rose gold metal accents and two-toned bristles like last month, but the other three are a glossy black tapered handle with gunmetal grey accents.

R2 Pro Tapered Powder Brush – Retail Value $15.00

Even though I have been laying off the powder recently, I love a big soft powder brush like this one. It’s tapered so it’s more rounded than flat for a little more control and to get into the corners of my face more easily.

E47 Small Flat Angled Contour Brush – Retail Value $9.00

I don’t have any brushes like this one, so I’m delighted. This flat angled brush is about an inch wide and can be used for contouring, which I’m dipping a toe into but still a novice at. I’m glad to have this one to better perfect my budding contour game.

E17 Crease Precision Blender Brush – Retail Value $7.00

This is probably the brush I’m least excited about simply because I have several blender brushes at this point that seem pretty similar. I used this one to blend my two subtle eyeshadow colors together at the crease of my lid. It can also be used to dab some highlighter on the small area above my eyes and below my brow.

E11 Angled Brow Brush – Retail Value $9.00

To finish up, the last brush is my favorite of the month. I was sure that I’d get an eyebrow brush like this last month because I had JUST purchased one after the woman who waxed my brows kindly showed me how to fill in my brows by using a brush and powder instead of a pencil (which is how I had always previously done it). I gotta say- it’s been a GAME CHANGER and has totally elevated my brow game. At a half inch wide, this brush is a bit larger than the one I purchased but cuts down the time it takes to fill in my brows because of it. I can then use the smaller one if I want to get more detailed. Love it!

Verdict: This month MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club sent me four brushes for $19.99 that have a retail value of $40.00, so it’s like getting all of them for half off! The angled brow brush is the clear winner for me, but I was also excited about the small flat angled contour as well. The other two seem similar to brushes I already own but are still super nice and soft.
