Car Ice Scraper with Attached Mitt

Oh my gosh, my friend Tim has one of these! He used it to help me scrape my car once this winter, and I've been thinking of getting one ever since. I'm awful at remembering to shove gloves in my pockets, so having a fleece-lined glove built right into your ice scraper is a great convenience. I wish it had a little more reach than it does (y'gotta really lean over the windshield to get all the ice with this guy). Still, this is going into my car ASAP. Spring has supposedly sprung, but in Pittsburgh, we've had snow flurries then 65 and sunny days then more flurries then freezing rain... Never hurts to be prepared!

Family Chef 10" Ceramic Sauté Pan

I haven't been able to find this brand online, but other ceramic-lined sautee pans seem to start around $25-$30 and move up from there. I like the non-stick nature of this pan (great for cooking eggs, which are my favorite thing to whip up in a pinch) and the bright red color doesn't hurt either! It's a cheerful medium-sized pan that should get a lot of use in my kitchen. I love that it's dishwasher friendly, too!

Fuller My Kitchen My Home Silicone Measuring Cups

I can't decide what I think about these flexible plastic measuring cups! The box mentions that the material can bend to form spouts for easy pouring, but I worry that liquids inside will splash or squish out as I pinch the sides to pick up the cup... Maybe I'm overthinking it. Maybe I'll just use them for dry ingredients!

Hashtag Me The Game  - Retail Value $15.99

This game seems like a nice icebreaker for a dinner party full of new faces. The idea is that players pick up cards that prompt them to tell stories. As they do so, other players use cards with hashtags on them to comment on the story being told. It's a cute way to encourage people to engage with each other and get some laughter going.

S'mores Cocoa Mug Set - Listed Value $9.98

While it is snowing in March in Pittsburgh, it definitely doesn't feel like the holidays anymore. So this holiday-themed cocoa gift set feels a little out of place. That said, the presentation is cute—they include literally everything you'd need to create two cozy cups of fudgy cocoa and a few smores, to boot! And if I stash the snowman mugs away for next December and use some regular mugs instead, that Christmastime vibe will fade away.

Edible Arrangements Sweet and Savory Gift Collection

It looks like this assortment is no longer available on Edible Arrangements' site. It also has a holiday vibe with its snowflake-patterned boxes. The treats inside taste just fine, though. As the name suggests, there's a nice mix of savory and sweet treats, including trail mix, caramel corn, chocolate toffee pretzels, yogurt pretzels, and a slew of chocolate-dipped goodies like peanuts and graham crackers. I think my favorite treats were the hazelnut twists—I just love the light, crisp pastry and the contrast of the thick, yummy cream inside.

The Verdict: While I don't doubt the quality of the holiday treats I got, I will say that they made the box feel a little more clearance-aisle-ish than it usually does. I was most pleased with all the useful products I got, like the ceramic-coated pan and the car scraper (though hopefully, I don't have to use that much more this year). This box is definitely unpredictable, but if you're up for a surprise, I'd say it's worth a try!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? There's no telling which random items you'll get inside this box, even if you sign up today. Subscribe now to get your own box of surprises!

Value Breakdown: This box cost me $24.99 (with free shipping). There were a few items that I couldn't find prices for, but what I was able to find amounted to $25.97, which is already over the cost of the box. Based on the $24.99 price, I paid an average of $4.17 per item.

This would have all been junk for me. The “wine vouchers” are usually a $100 off when you spend $150… they’ve sent those non magazines and random hand outs. I’ll be avoiding this box 🤦🏽‍♀️

I would strongly advise against using those measuring cups for dry ingredients in baking. You will not get accurate measurements using something intended for wet ingredients and that will typically cause issues with baked goods.

I think as long as you don’t pinch the container too tightly, it should work just fine.

Just my two cents as a long time baker.

I’ve heard that the silicone measuring cups can be especially good for wet ingredients because if you pinch them the right way, they can function as a funnel.

I appreciate this SO much, Jackie! I’m still a relative amateur in the kitchen, so I need good advice from experienced bakers and cooks <3 Thank you so much!

If I knew they would send me sweets/snacks, I would sign up right now. I am not fussy about the decor as long as the food is fresh.
