This box comes with a mini booklet detailing all the items included:

Now, on to the items!

Skin Laundry Renewing Eye Cream – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $30

This eye cream is a lightweight lotion that almost feels like a gel. It absorbs quickly, too. It’s designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, and puffiness. I found it to be gentle, and I’m happy to report that it is fragrance-free, too!

Votary Facial Oil – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $102

Props to MINTD for including an item that alone covers the cost of the box! This all-natural facial oil is designed to hydrate, plump and heal skin. It’s safe for sensitive skin, and you can use it in the morning and at night. This didn’t irritate my skin at all, it was lightweight, and the essential oil blend reminds me of my favorite winter flower – paperwhites!

Oribe Balmessence Lip Treatment – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $35

I’ve sampled this before and it is on par with what I would expect from Oribe: a super luxe lip balm. This lip treatment is super moisturizing and it doesn’t have much of a sheen, so it’s great for everyday wear. Would I pay $35 for this in the future? No, it’s not that different enough from an under $10 option, but I’m happy to receive it at a discount in a box!

de Mamiel Altitude Oil – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $44

This essential oil blend is designed to help keep stresses away when you are on the go (flights, commutes, etc.). The formula is made of organic and natural ingredients, with peppermint being the most dominant scent for me – very invigorating!

African Botanics Marula Mineral Cleansing Mask – 20 ml Value $28.33

This mask is designed to target redness, inflammation, and acne, but is ideal for all skin types. You leave it on for 5-15 minutes (it somewhat dries), then you add warm water and lightly massage to gently exfoliate as you remove it. (It is very gentle – no detectable exfoliating particles.)

I liked the natural floral scent, and my skin felt fab after using this. Definitely a great mask for a soothing experience.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $239.33. I paid about $97, so I’m happy with that value for luxe beauty items. (Almost everything was full-sized, too.) This was a great skincare box, too – they covered everything

  • Facial Oil: $41.34
  • Oribe: $14.19
  • Altitude Oil: $17.83

  1. BTW, they were offering a large discount on pretty much all the boxes in the gift store. I used GIFT40 for 40% off but I know they were also running GIFT30. If you’re interested in this box or one of the others it’s work a try!

    • Both codes are not working for me..:(

  2. I bought two of these. The Votive oil pays for the box and I love this facial oil. Liz Cadman, I know this is off topic but you said you’re not that impressed with the Oribe lip balm. What does impress you? Anyone? Anyone?

    • Sorry if I didn’t clearly express my thoughts on the Oribe. I think it’s a great lip balm, I just wouldn’t personally pay $35 retail for it in the future, but I’ll definitely enjoy this one while I have it! 🙂

    • I know that Liz thinks the formula of the Stila liquid lipsticks is impressive because that brand in patina is her favorite lipstick!

      • You know me too well 🙂

  3. I’ve had my eye on this box for so long but I just can’t seem to justify the price compared to other subs.

    • I recommend signing up for their newsletter – they sometimes have sales on past boxes!

      • Oooh! Thanks for the tip, Liz!

      • Yes, thank you for tip, I just signed up for their newsletter. I am interested in this box,
