I love the placemats!

YSL is not a cruelty-free brand (yes, there are some companies that insist on torturing animals for no reason, as there are better technologies these days). Despite the palette being nice, I’ll stick to giving my money to brands who do NOT test on animals, like Le Métier de Beauté, Illamasqua, and Julep.

Me, too. Very fair with green eyes. These colors look much better on me than the taupes and browns.

Hey Liz–Thanks so much for the great pics. One question–when you have the necklace on, is that at it’s longest length ? Where on the chain is the end fastened in that pic? Just trying to get an idea of it’s length.

YAY! This is looking like a great box! So glad I got it (I got gold). YSL is an incredible brand to include, and their makeup is very high quality in my opinion. I know some may be put off by the pink shade, as I was when I first encountered pink in a palette, but I played around with it and found that it actually makes a gorgeous blending color over normal base colors. Just add a touch and it adds so much warmth and glam. Give it a try!

Personally I hope we get the Jonathan Adler barware set and the pineapple (shaker or ice container-there are two variations), and the cheese tray. Would be very happy! By my calculation, if we get all those items, we’d have a little left for a yummy snack and maybe the rose gold eyelash curler. Would love a box with those goodies in it!!!

I’d be down to buy the palette off of someone who wants to get rid of it 🙂

While I LOVE the eye shadow I don’t wear a lot of makeup (I work from home) and have plenty for the occasions when I go out. I will be swapping mine for sure.

I did some quick Googling, and it looks like this palette was released for Fall 2017 and is a Neiman Marcus (the store itself, not this box) exclusive. I have way too much eyeshadow already, but I am excited to try out these colors! They seem perfect for a party or a night out!

I half love the placements! But the rest to me, is aweful. However, I am not complaining because I’m actually going to skip this box for the first time ever which feels weird and sad all the same time I thought the third spoiler would push me over the edge and I would get it for sure I’m glad I didn’t jump on the pre-order. I can see how some people would absolutely love the necklace and earrings, they are pretty not my style and I am overwhelmed with extra jewelry at the moment. The pallet is actually gorgeous but totally not my colors as I use benefit big beautiful eyes every day pretty neutral

I got the spoiler emaailnd I see a Smith & Cult Nail Polish on the tray. I may be wrong but I see something very similar to Smith and Cult packaging.

Ugh… I love getting spoilers, however, this is driving me nuts. I’m half tempted to order a second box since if I get the extra plate mats online it’s already almost half the box at regular price. If they do another spoiler I like … I’m gonna get in trouble with my hubby

I am sooo hoping there are no allergens in the shadow for me, such pretty colors!

I can’t afford the box at the moment, but I LOVE the eyeshadow colors.
Bravo to PS and NM for not going with nudes or neutrals. 🙂
As a person with very light hair and eyes, I love the cool tones so much!

Nothing in the box is something I really want or need, so I will be passing on this box. Everything so far is very festive; if I didn’t have so much stuff and other things higher up on my wish list, I would be tempted.

It’s all very nice so far but definitely not my taste. Glad I decided to pass on this one. Maybe one of the less touted spoilers yet to come will give me heartburn but so far, nada.

This YSL palette is very pretty! Although I am 99% sure I will not buy this box, I would love a tutorial video. I just can’t commit almost $300 to a box when I do not know all the contents.

I’m loving the colors of this palette (not so much the pink, but I love purple eyeshadows!) but I’ve never been drawn to YSL shadows. I only ever bought a couple of them – maybe I just made some poor selections.

For me, this box is on the verge of being awesome. Just… not QUITE there. At least not $250 worth of there.

p.s. Maybe I will change my mind entirely about the box when full spoilers are revealed but almost $300 is a lot of money for me since I lived on a fixed income and I am almost 100% I will get the Rachel Zoe Winter Box and some Fab Fit Fun add ons.
