Good To Know: These are all exclusive items!

Collector Corps is a bi-monthly subscription for Funko fanatics. Every delivery is themed in some way – some are themed after comic events/movies, like ‘Civil War‘, or a category of characters, like ‘Women of Power‘, as well as specific characters like ‘Ant-Man‘ and ‘Deadpool‘.

You’ll get a card with creation details on each exclusive item in the box – you should definitely take some time to read these!

Patch + Pin – Value $5-10?

Every month includes a theme patch and pin. The pin is inspired by Spidey’s web shooter hologram (which I’m assuming we’ll see more of in the movie) and the patch includes the movie’s main villain – Vulture.

Midtown High School of Science + Technology Shirt – Value $15?

I’m really liking this month’s shirt – instead of featuring a Funko’d character, it’s a callout to Peter Parker’s alma mater. Every once in a while Funko includes a shirt like this – and I always enjoy when they do it!

Spider-Man Glider POP – Value $25?

This month includes one exclusive POP vinyl featuring Spidey himself with a glider suit.

This is definitely a cool variant for Spidey – and I’m excited to see the glider in action when the movie releases!

With each new Marvel movie comes a whole new line of POPs – so many to keep collecting!

Spider-Man Mystery Mini – Value $10-15?

You’ll get 2 of a possible 4 exclusive mystery minis – you’re guaranteed one Spider-Man and one villain. I got Spidey in a sort-of superhero pose.

Like all Marvel Funko items, this is a bobblehead. All 4 of these minis are only available through Collector Corps – I’m curious to see what they will sell for, or if people will just buy a second box in hopes of completing the collection.

Shocker Mystery Mini – Value $10-15

The villain I received was Shocker – but you could have also received Vulture.

It’s not the most exciting sculpt – and I definitely would have rather received Vulture – but, since it’s exclusive, it’s still fun to own.

Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #1 – Value $4.99

The last item in the box is a comic with an exclusive variant cover. Inside, the writers explain that this is a new look at Spidey that is aimed at getting new readers caught up and up to speed in anticipation of the movie – and it features a bunch of Marvel characters – it’s packed!

Verdict: Like always, I love Collector Corps. For about $30 – you’re typically recouping the majority of the cost in your POP vinyl if you’re a collector like myself. On top of the vinyl figures, I’m a fan of the other types of items as well – so it’s definitely a big win this month! Now let’s get ready for the next Spider-Man movie!

  1. Now that’s a pretty weak box IMO but I also don’t collect Mystery Minis. I also appreciate the shirt design but would have much preferred a shirt with “Spidey vs Vulture”, similar to the “Spidey vs Green Goblin” from last year’s Spider-Man box.
I must say I however love the design of the pop this month and will have to pick him up at sometime.
