The theme for this month’s box is “Say Yes to New Adventures” and focuses on masks that help your skin keep glowing no matter what you are doing or where you are going. Not traveling this summer? These masks bring you everywhere from Mexico to Jeju Island.
Wow! There is so much information on these cards, it’s amazing and super helpful. Because a lot of these masks don’t have English writing on them, it’s hard to know exactly what you are getting into and how to use it. This card solves that problem! Not only does it have directions and information for the masks, it also has the retail price included.
Skinion Mexico Nopal Cactus Water Bomb Mask - Listed Value $3.50
I loved the smell of this sheet mask! It was just fresh and sort of aloe smelling too. This was super easy to apply and very very liquid-y. I kept this on for 20 minutes and rinsed it off after removing. I know you can just rub it in and pat dry, but I prefer to rub it in while rinsing off. I already have oily skin so I don’t like to over-moisturize. Once I dried off though, my face looked fresh and soft.
Dearpacker Step Solution Anti-Pollution Mask - Listed Value $6.00
This anti-pollution mask is the most expensive one in this box at $6.00, but I do think I liked it most. This one was a charcoal mask, but it also had 3 steps including a pre-mask clay cleanser and then a post-mask solution. I loved the scent of the clay cleanser and it really did get my face super clean. I think it was the combination of all 3 steps that made this mask the so good! My skin felt soft, firm, and my skin tone looked great too.
Tomaru Camellia Mask - Listed Value $3.50
This floral-scented mask was really a nice way to end the day. The smell was heavenly! Seriously, this had a lovely floral scent and my skin was so soft afterward. I definitely want to get more of these.
Adaline Keep Cool and Let Shine Mask - Listed Value $3.50
I couldn’t quite put a finger on what this mask smelled like, but it still smelled good. Clearly, smell is important to me because if I pulled a mask out and had to put it on my face smelling bad, I would not be happy. Thankfully, so far all of these smell divine! This is a skin brightening mask meant to help with harsh and warm weather conditions. My skin certainly felt great and perhaps seemed a little brighter. I put this one on the AM while waiting for my coffee to be ready. Figured I would start my day off right with a bright face.
Hectic It’s Pack Time AM 07:00 Mask - Listed Value $3.50
I tried out this mask in the morning, though admittedly not at 7 AM. It was the first thing I did after washing my face and I gotta say, I really liked this one. It came in two pieces, one for your eye area and one for around the mouth. It was easy to apply, gentle and had a faint smell of grapefruit. I found it to be slightly tingly in a good way! When I removed it after about 10 minutes, I rinsed my face and it felt so refreshed and ready for the day.
Skin deCeleb White Flower Celeb Mask - Listed Value $3.50
With this mask more than the others, I noticed that my face felt cool. When I went to take it off and rinse, my face and the solution on it felt cool to the touch. In this hot weather we’ve been having, that was definitely a nice added bonus. This mask also had a floral scent and of course made my skin feel super soft.
Lindsay Water Balance Mask - Listed Value $4.50
All of the other masks in this box were paper masks coated with solution, but this one was a gel mask so it was pretty slimy. BUT, I actually think I liked this one better than the other ones because it stuck to my face very snug and also I just think that the solution got absorbed into my skin much better with this one. The smell reminded me of a bronzer I used once, it wasn’t floral or sweet, but just fragrant in some other way I can’t quite put my finger on. My face was soft when I removed the mask, but I also think my skin tone looked amazing!
Verdict: With the value of this Facetory box coming in at $28.00 and the cost only being $15.95 (+$3.95 for shipping) this box really is a steal. These aren’t masks that you would just find in your local pharmacy or beauty departments, but they are much much better. My two favorites were the Dearpacker Step Solution Anti-Pollution Mask and Tomaru Camellia Mask.
