Cookie Luv Subscription Box Review + Coupon – May 2017
Cookie Luv is a cookie-of-the-month subscription box. They offer month-to-month cookie plans as well as subscription plans for college students. All cookies are made fresh and from scratch. Each month features a different flavor.
There are two cookie collections to choose from: Just Like Home Cookie Collection and Fancy Schmancy Cookie Collection. The Just Like Home collection features classic drop cookies (12 cookies total) while the Fancy Schmancy collection features unique artisan cookies (12-20 cookies total depending on size).
There are also several subscription options. The Month-to-Month subscription ships on a monthly basis, while the College Care Package Subscription is similar to the Month-to-Month but on a slightly altered shipping schedule to accommodate the academic calendar. There are one-time purchase Midterms and Finals Care Packages as well.

Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
This is the cookie for May from the Just Like Home collection. Cookie Luv recently increased the number of cookies from 12 to 14 for better box value, so there is 14 cookies total. Each one is individually wrapped sealed with a gold foil sticker.
Delicious! The bitter aroma of cocoa powder made me frown a little, but the flavors are lovely. Each cookie is crunchy on the outside and pleasantly moist on the inside. The chocolate chunks in the cookie have a smooth, rich taste and melt in my mouth.
The cookies are very sweet, sometimes a little overwhelmingly so. I had mine with milk (a classic, of course), which balanced out the sweetness.
Verdict: The Double Chocolate Chip cookies were very delicious! I think last month’s cookies were more unique, but the presentation, care, and ingredient quality are evident in this batch as well. Without shipping, the cost breakdown is about $1.64 per cookie; including shipping fees, each one is $2.07. I appreciate that Cookie Luv increased the cookie count from 12 to 14, which definitely makes the value better for me. Despite that, it’s still a pricey subscription for drop cookies. This would be great as a gift or for college students who don’t have time to bake cookies. Outside of that, I don’t feel incentivized to get Cookie Luv if I have easier ways to get my cookie fix.
If you’re interested in Cookie Luv, I suggest using our MSA20 coupon on your first box, which brings the cost down to $18.39 + $6 shipping or getting a three-month subscription, which brings the cost down to $20.69 per month + $6 shipping.
