POPSUGAR Must Have Vacation Mystery Box – SPOILERS!

Anyone else still waiting on their vacation box? I ordered the first day they were available (fomo runs strong!), and I emailed them 2 days ago because my shipping update on their website had been saying processing for weeks. Rather than a response, I got a FedEx delivery notice. Shipped yesterday from California and due in West Virginia Friday night. I’m not holding my breath.

Also, my number says 2016_11_VACA. There is no extra number indicating which version. It is 4 pounds. Anyone else already receive that number/weight combo? I’d really like to have an idea of what is coming and if it is giftable since I was counting on something in there to round out my presents for my sister!

Blah… As I thought, I got the exact same box as Sara (box pictured above, 3.6 lbs/#14). I pretty much hate it. I am trying to console myself that each of the last two times that they sold mystery boxes, I ordered one and got lucky with them.

I am going on a long weekend cruise in Feb. and was hoping for stuff for that or for travel in general, but this just doesn’t feel useful to me at all. I didn’t order the beauty box because I didn’t want more product and this feels like a lot of products. Unfortunately the cover-up won’t fit me. I am not taking the swan or ice tray on a cruise… Ugh. Wah!

Crossing my fingers for a good Cozy Home box next week!

Just got my box, and not too thrilled with it. Here’s what I got:

1) The cover up- might use it around the house, not really sure. Might end up sitting in a drawer.
2) A straw hat, pretty banged up- the hat is all banged out of shape. Not so happy about that. We’ll have to see if it can be fixed. If so I might wear it. Otherwise I will add it to my kids’ dress up box.
3) Inflated swan- first time getting it and it went straight to my 3 year old to play with. She’s scooting all over the floor on it, big smile. I also an thinking of filling the “cup holders” with art supplies so the kids can have a small art area with it in the middle.
4) Indie Lee Coconut Citrus Scrub- it smells nice. Will add it to my bathroom.
5) Pineapple Ice Tray- Will probably do something with the kids with this. Not too excited about it.
6) Sachajuan Hair in the Sun- probably will never use
7) Let it Block Sunscreen- This will be saved for the summer. I like the small size. It will fit nicely in the diaper bag.
8) Elizabeth and James Dry Shampoo- probably will never use
9) Pacifica Deodorant Wipes- might use these

There was a lot of things in the box, but not a ton that I was over the moon about. Its an ok box. I (or the kids) will use 4 items for sure and maybe 2 more.

I have box variation 16. 5.2 lbs out of Watsonville, CA. Anyone get that one? Mine isn’t scheduled to arrive until the middle of next week…

I wish I had passed on this darn box!!

I got a deformed straw hat that can’t be reshaped (that I can see), the Lemlem cover up that is too small for me (boo), Sachajuan Hair in the Sun (meh), Deodorant Wipes and Sunscreen (useful), Inflatable Swan Drink Holder (cute), Pineapple Ice Tray (cute again), and the one thing I love in the box: Indie Lee Coconut Citrus Scrub.

If this was the only mystery box I’d received, I’d be upset (especially with the terrible deformed hat). However, the fashion and beauty box was good enough to make this less painful.

Actually, I did not even receive a setting mist!! So my box is only worth $164!!! This company is way dishonest. Stay away!

I’m going on a cruise in January, and I definitely needed some sunscreen! Love everything else in it as well!

Looks like the “LE” items are all from the CFDA box. And a lot of mini box items.

My box is 14x11x5 4.3pds and the variation number is MYST_2016_11_VACA_13……Totally different from what most people are posting on here,which has got me kind of worried…Mine will be here on Friday so I guess I will know soon

Maybe I’ll be lucky and get the nail polish from Smith & Cult. I Pd $50 for freaking nail polish, lol

Not a great box for me, personally. But it’s jam-packed with good stuff if you’re a sunshine and water person. My personal motto: Inside, good. Outside, BAD. 😉

I just got shipping notification from Popsugar. It says coming fed-ex smartpost. I thought they were going to ship them fed-ex ground for the late shipping as well as add an extra item in there. I can’t even pull up shipping details on the fed-ex site so what the deal Popsugar???

I got an oops email from Popsugar yesterday that said they somehow lost track of my mystery boxes. I was an optimist and got one of each. It was a nice email and said any boxes shipping the 14th thru 16th would include an extra item for the trouble and receive expedited shipping so they will arrive by Christmas.
I didn’t plan to use any of the items for gifts so this is fine for me but those celebrating Xmas away from home may be affected by late shipping.

Am I the only one who would love to have the cover up? Had I known it was a possibility of it being in this box in would have bought it…oh well

Got my box today. It is almost exactly the same as spoiler, with one item difference — I got the Henry Bendi dopi bag instead of supergoop sun mist.

Hate both items from the special edition box. So regretted purchasing the box.

Has anyone still not gotten a shipment notification yet? :'(
