Lindsey's Favorite:
The Item: Spider Bite Beer Company Boris the Spider Russian Imperial Stout
The Cost: Craft Beer Club costs $39 per month
From: Craft Beer Club (Coupon: Receive 3 bonus gifts with your first shipment!, no coupon required, just use this link)
Why I love it: I’m a big fan of dark beer, and this one was great. Rich, tangy, and roasty, the flavor reminded me of coffee and chocolate. I also really love the label artwork. (Just look at Boris the spider’s fuzzy Russian hat! Awesome.)
Anna Rodriguez's Favorite:
The Item: Robby Dress by Tart Collections
The Cost: $164
From: Wantable Style Edit
Why I love it: I kept it! I love this dress. I know, it's a lot of snake print, but it's so stylish and versatile. It's a very easy day-to-night dress with a quick change of accessories.
The Item: Unique Vintage 1950s Style Black Rita Halter Flare Dress
The Cost: $78
From: Unique Vintage Dress of the Month Club
Why I Love It: This was a fun dress and I don’t have anything like it in my closet. Plus, it fit very well, which made me happy (I’ve been having some fit issues with clothes since losing weight). Now I am just waiting for some holiday function to wear it to.
Haley's Favorite:
The Item: Little Birdie Blouse
The Cost: $40
From: Golden Tote
Why I love it: This has been a great transition piece for my wardrobe! It's light enough to wear alone on warmer Fall days but when it's chilly it looks fantastic with a blazer or cardigan. Plus the fit is good and I love the tunic length. I've loved pairing it with these grey skinny jeans, which I also got in my October Golden Tote!
Bekki's Favorite:
The Item: Spaulding's Specialty Spices - Holiday Spice Sugar
The Cost: $6.50
From: My Texas Market (Coupon: Save 25% off your first box with code MAIL25!)
Why I love it: I've used this sugar in my coffee every day since receiving it. It's that good! This sugar is blended with cinnamon, clove, ginger, nutmeg, and lemon. Initially, I was wary of stirring this into my coffee, thinking that it wouldn't mix in completely. I was totally wrong - it melted in smoothly and made my coffee taste delicious! It's almost like having a pumpkin spice latte...with a ton fewer calories. I'm definitely purchasing some of these for gifts this year.
Nancy S' Favorite:
The Item: MCC Accent Gel Eyeliner
The Cost: $17.99
From: Mishibox
Why I love it: I use to have trouble finding the perfect liner for my hooded, oily lids... until this love came along. This gel liner is convenient, portable, and absolutely kills in the long-wearing department! The color payoff is spectacular. I wore it by itself, no primer, for a whole day and it looked almost pristine at the end of the night. There is little to no smudging (usually unheard of for me). It comes off easily with oil-based cleanser or makeup remover too. Holy grail!
Jessica's Favorite:
The Item: Candy Floss Lip Scrub
The Cost: $4.99
From: S & G Beauty Box (Coupon: Use code MSA1 to save 10% off your first box!)
Why I love it: I love this lip scrub because it’s effective, smells amazing, and is handmade. It’s great to find cruelty-free, organic, fair trade beauty items on Etsy and be able to support small businesses. This is a product I’ll be buying again!
Shawn's Favorite:
The Item: Good Earth Sweet and Spicy Tea
The Cost: $0.50 (for 2 tea bags)
From: Zen Box by Jen (Coupon: Use code MSA10 to save 10% off your first box!)
Why I love it: I usually buy a much more expensive tea that tastes almost exactly like this so I was super excited to find discover this Good Earth tea. The name is perfectly descriptive as this tea is both sweet and spicy but adjust your brew time if you need a less flavorful taste. This is a full bodied tea which is the only kind I will drink!
Nich's Favorite:
The Item: AHA Toner (Alpha-Hydroxy Acid), sample size
The Cost: $1.25
From: Satva Box (Coupon: Use code SATVA10 to save 10% off your first box!)
Why I Love It: I have been using this for the past month and have seen a noticeable difference. I use it at night and rinse off in the morning. I have less dryness and dullness in my skin and love how my skin perks up after use!
Anna Reilly's Favorite:
The Item: Wild by Water Clutch in Skellig Views
The Cost: Value approximately $38.52 USD
From: MyIrelandBox (Coupon: Get a bonus gift in your first 3- or 6-month subscription box! No code required.)
Why I love it: I love the image on the front of this clutch. The colors and the beauty of the fabric-printed photo are daydream-worthy. I also just love when boxes have items that aren't just pretty, but practical, too. This piece is perfect for carrying around on its own, and its faux-leather body and strap make it sturdy enough to survive being thrown into my bustling tote bag, too!
Liz's Favorite:
The Item: Nuema neuStyling Smoothing Creme
The Cost: $3.60
From: Beauty Fix
This hair creme smells like a lemon cookie – I’m obsessed with it! This line from Neuma is also free of any ingredient you may want to avoid, like parabens, sulfates, phthalates, FD&C Colorant, etc.
And the hair creme itself works really well, too. You can use it both on dry or damp hair, and it didn’t weigh my hair down at all – but did tame frizz!
I've already used this sample up - time to buy full-size!
