I Love You Night & Day by Smriti Prasadam-Halls - $6.03 on Amazon (retail price $7.99)

This gentle and touching book about a small bunny and large bear sends a beautiful message of unconditional love. The bunny and bear tell about all the different times they love each other. The soothing illustrations are beautiful.

Red Wagon by Renata Liwska - $4.08 on Amazon (retail price $6.99)

Lucy can’t wait to play with her new red wagon. Lucy’s mom, however, wants her to do some chores and go to the market. Using her vivid imagination Lucy manages to make an everyday trip into an exciting adventure. Renata Liwska is one of my favorite illustrators; her animals are always the sweetest!

Find the Triangle by Britta Teckentrup - Value $6.95

This board book is great for teaching shapes to preschoolers. With simple text and bold, bright colors children have fun spotting triangles in this depiction of a very geometric world. There are other shape books in this series.

Amazing Alphabet by Annie Simpson - Value $10.13 on Amazon (retail price $12.99)

This was our favorite selection this month. The ABC book market is fully saturated so it needs to be unique to really stand out. This one fits the bill. In some spreads, the letter is raised, fitting into a recessed page opposite from it. This makes for a tactile experience, ideal for tracing with child-sized fingers. Bright colors and cute graphics keep this teaching book appealing. We’ve been using it with my daughter to help teach her all the letters.

Animal Buddies: Puppy by Roger Priddy - Value $5.99

This is a very short book, perfect for the youngest of children. The brief text means they won’t lose interest and the fuzzy puppy ears are just begging to be rubbed.

Here's a look at all the books stacked up!

Verdict: Lillypost is amazing! The value is over $33 and all the books came individually wrapped which makes it ideal for gift giving. We especially love the Amazing Alphabet, Red Wagon and Find the Triangle selections this month. I review a ton of children’s book subscription boxes and for the price (plus free shipping) I think this box offers the most bang for your buck as well as a charming box, wrap, and stickers.

Dana

I just subscribed to the picture book box and also ordered a couple of the past board book boxes as a one-time purchase directly from the website. The packaging was literally the cutest ever and the fact that the books come gift-wrapped too is just amazing for the price. This is a fantastic box and I’d be shocked if anyone who has littles doesn’t order this!!!
