The Forgetting by Sharon Cameron - Retail Value $18.99 (On Amazon for $11.99)

Book Summary from Amazon:

What isn't written, isn't remembered. Even your crimes. Nadia lives in the city of Canaan, where life is safe and structured, hemmed in by white stone walls and no memory of what came before. But every twelve years the city descends into the bloody chaos of the Forgetting, a day of no remorse, when each person's memories -- of parents, children, love, life, and self -- are lost. Unless they have been written.

In Canaan, your book is your truth and your identity, and Nadia knows exactly who hasn't written the truth. Because Nadia is the only person in Canaan who has never forgotten.

But when Nadia begins to use her memories to solve the mysteries of Canaan, she discovers truths about herself and Gray, the handsome glassblower, that will change her world forever. As the anarchy of the Forgetting approaches, Nadia and Gray must stop an unseen enemy that threatens both their city and their own existence - before the people can forget the truth. And before Gray can forget her.

The Forgetting Mini Notebook - Value $3?

uppercase-september-2016-010

This tiny lined notebook is a nice promo item for the book (I'm guessing on the value).

This sticker was designed by the same artist behind the Nerdy Post subscription box! (If you are into fandoms, I recommend checking out our Nerdy Post reviews!)

I love a good bookish pun and these library book carts are adorable on the purple background.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $29. That's lower than usual but still on par with the cost of the box. (Plus you have a signed book and exclusive items that I didn't assign a monetary value to.) I'm almost always happy with this subscription. I think the curation is great, and it seems like my taste in YA books is similar to Lisa's so that works out very well!

What do you think of this month's Uppercase box? Have you finished the book yet?

Hey, Liz,
I was perusing CrateJoy and came across a box called Nocturnal Readers. It sounds interesting, I wondered if you all would consider reviewing it to see what it’s all about?
Thanks!

My daughter and I FINALLY started this book last night. The book is beautiful. I love the little leaves on the pages within the book. I dropped down to book only last month, but my daughter liked the out of print pouch, so I added it on to our October shipment (which arrived yesterday). It is already packed and ready for school.
