Now, onto the items!

Mio Liquid Yoga Restorative Bath Soak – 53 ml Value $10.60

I’ve sampled the Mio brand before and I really like it. Their formulas are free of ingredients you may want to avoid, and the scents are usually great, too.

This bath soak has a refreshing minty scent, and the formula is designed to basically do all the things:

  • Anti-inflammatory Andiroba Oil eases muscle aches and pains
  • Epsom Salts relieve cramps
  • Horse Chestnut Seed Extract soothes bruises and restores tired legs.
  • Sage and Basil to reinvigorate your senses.
  • Mentha Arvensis Leaf Oil, Citrus Lemon Peel, Cypress Leaf Oil and Lavender to alleviate insomnia, stress and anxiety
  • Fig Extract encourages natural skin renewal

I think this bottle should be good for 2 uses. Now I just need to have an intense workout so I can justify using it!

Polaar Lip Balm – FULL SIZE! Value $11

This lip balm is perfection. It’s free of parabens, fragrance, and color, it is super moisturizing, and it’s not too shiny. Needless to say, I’m glad this is the full-size item in the box!

Caviar Anti-Aging Moisture Intense Oil Creme Pre-Shampoo Treatment – 25 ml Value $6

This oil cream is designed to be used as a weekly nourishing hair mask. I left it on for about 10 minutes before I shampooed my hair, and the scent is FANTASTIC! Plus, I love that Alterna products are all free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates, etc. (I can’t recommend this haircare brand enough.)

I wasn’t sure how much to use (it doesn’t say on the tube) so I went with almost all of it. It was easy to rinse out, and then I used my regular shampoo and conditioner. I can definitely tell a difference in the softness of my hair the next day. My curls are more defined, too. And even though I used the whole tube (which might have been overdoing it), my hair wasn’t greasy at all.

OSKIA London Renaissance Mask – 12 ml Value $14.50

This mask is a rose-colored gel that turns into a white cream mask when you massage it into your skin. Once it has changed colors, let it sit for 10-20 minutes, then rinse off. It has a faint rose scent, and it was gentle on my skin. Most importantly, it left my skin feeling very soft and hydrated!

Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel – 10 ml Value $10.60

This peel is a cream you massage into your skin and let sit for 10 minutes before rinsing/removing it. Whenever I see the word “peel” I worry that it will irritate my skin, but this one was so gentle and left my skin ridiculously soft after using it.

Laura Geller Lip Liner in Cabernet – FULL SIZE! Value $18

(Subscribers will receive one of three shades.)

Here it is swatched:

It goes on smoothly and has great pigment. And this color works well for my skin tone, too!

And this box includes the latest issue of  Elle UK Magazine:

Value $5

I love getting this mini mag with the box – it’s a fun extra, and the size is great for throwing in your purse, too.

The Verdict: This month’s box has a value of about $76 – I think that’s amazing for a $22 beauty box shipped from overseas! (And you can get the $15 a box annual price without having to pay the full amount up front, too.)

The brands, sample sizes, and packaging are great – I can’t recommend this box enough!

  1. I love that liquid yoga and will be gett ok ng the full size. This is a great box of products that don’t seem to come in the US sub boxes. Love it so far.

    • Will be getting full size. Typos. Hahaha.

  2. So sad I messed up my shipping address (no state)
I REALLY wanted this box ?

  3. I can’t update my delivery address! So annoying! I have tried to contact CS numerous times but they are not being helpful at all! Has anyone else had this problem?

    • I have had no problems with CS. They always got back to me quickly and fixed any issues I was having.

      • Luck you I wish I could say the same :-/
I finally got CS to fix my address for me but because the address mess up was my fault they will not help locate the missing package nor will they replace it.
Oh well I guess it was my fault :-/

    • I messed up my delivery address by not including the state, as well, but my boxes have been delivered without any issue or delay (received 3 boxes so far). I think as long as your zip code is correct, the post office can figure it out.

  4. I just received my first month of LF. I am soooo happy with it. This box is much better than Glossy box which I cancelled after a horrible CS issue, and I signed up for a year so it’s only $15 a month. The packaging it comes in is wonderful, even better than GB which was the only positive I could find in that sub. I love subs that have collectible and useful packaging so I have somewhere to store all my beauty products. I am really suprised LF is so cheap and has free shipping over seas. I hope they never end up going out of business. Does anyone know how long LF has been around?

    • It was 2 years in September!

  5. I’m still waiting on my box. It’s supposed to be on it’s way, I wish they gave you tracking information!

    • I agree. I can’t stand it when I get shipping emails from boxes, but they don’t provide a tracking number or any info (even when you log into your account). So, I have no idea when I’ll be receiving it, or whose delivering it.

But, if this helps any…. I received my LF box on 10/15, and I received the shipping notification on 10/11.

  6. Friendly edit- in the Murad description, you misspelled “ridiculously ” 🙂

    • Oops! Thank you so much for catching that!

  7. A fabulous box at an amazing price. My only wish is for more makeup.

  8. Well I finally broke down and ordered this box. It’s now down to $14.50 a box with a year long subscription. Hopefully I entered my address correctly. There was no place to enter your state so I guess they will just go off of your zip code. I’m really excited, this box seems great and the value is fantastic! I’ve been stuck at home these last 2 weeks after surgery and I think it’s left me with too much time to read MSA posts. I’m now signed up for this box, FFF, Little Lace Box, Julep, Graze, Fabletics, Sephora Play and I get the Target boxes when I can. Subscription addiction indeed! Bring on the boxes!

    • My address got mangled when I signed up (that darn missing state field!). As a result my first box shipped but never arrived. Trying to correct the glitch mere hours after I made it didn’t help. I suggest you go to your customer profile and double-check your address information. Try to input the state *somewhere*, even if it doesn’t have a specific spot for it.

      • Thanks for the info! I went back in and entered my state into the county field but they had already shipped my box (dang that was fast!) Just crossing my fingers that it gets to me as I specifically want this months box.

      • Have you gotten any notification about your box yet? I accidentally did the same exact thing! And by the time I tried entering the state the box had already shipped! I have also read that many people have made the same mistake and never got there box 🙁
I also read that it takes 30-45 working days in order for lookfantastic to investigate the missing box!
I hope you receive your box issue free ?
        Keep us posted

      • Hi Sabrina, I just got my box today! It made it safely and everything arrived intact, yay! It took 10 days from when they said it shipped for it to get to my house. I live in Oregon to give you some context. I hope yours arrives soon and you don’t have any problems.

    • When I signed up I noticed that as well. However, after entering my address without a state and hitting the button for the next page it auto-corrected for me. It gave me a “suggested address” and placed my state (CA) in the field titled “county.” I’m assuming that’s where it’s supposed to go. I hope. I signed up for the year subscription.

    • Oh my gosh. Same here. I just gave birth and stuck in the house and all I do is read reviews and box openings!! I subbed to a couple of boxes and even got one for my husband. Lol!!!!

  9. So happy with this box and really looking forward to trying out the products – especially that bath soak. The box alone is lovely and strong – a keeper! I bought their advent calendar too and am eager to see what goodies it holds. I’m going to try to be strong and only open it one day at a time. (:::she said with false hope:::)

  10. Well, it’s not Boxycharm to say the list but it’s the second best.

  11. I LOVE this box!! This is my 2nd month and it’s even better than last. I will use everything and it’s a great value I dropped Glossybox and picked up this. Best decision ever. I’m locked in at $15/mth price for the year. Couldn’t be happier.

    • So happy to hear you love it, too! It’s great to see a box that is consistently fabulous! 🙂

      • Liz – I inadvertently put my email address in the wrong spot with my comment. Is there a way you can change it to just “Trish M.” Or if not, just delete my comment? Sorry and thanks! 😀

  12. Look forward to LF every month. Have discovered some great products. The mini Elle mag is a great plus.

  13. I used the whole tube of the pre-shampoo treatment as well, I do have very thick hair, it was amazing, and I will be purchasing this! Love the mask also, should get a few treatments out of it!!! Look Fantastic and BoxyCharm are hands-down my favorite subs!!!
