Candy Club is a candy subscription that sends 2-3 pounds of premier, brand name candy directly to your door each month.
Each box contains four different kinds of candy, and Candy Club offers both a curated box and a custom box.
I’m subscribed to the custom box, which allows me to select my three main candies every month. (FYI- I’m able to choose three out of the four candies I receive in every box. The loose, individually-wrapped candies are always a surprise.) This month, I couldn’t resist picking Halloween-themed candies!
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

When I logged on to pick my candies for this month, I was SO excited to see a selection of themed candies available for Halloween. If there’s one thing I love more than candy, it’s holiday candy! My first pick was these lovely sour pumpkins. They’re sour jellies, as opposed to gummies, so they’re pretty soft. The sour orange flavor is potent, but not overwhelming, and there’s a nice balance of sour and sweet.
Next up are these fun sour bats. They have a similar texture to the pumpkins, but they’re a bit more sour. All three flavors are nice, but my favorite is the sour apple.
I’ve said this before, but Albanese makes the absolute best gummies. They have a great range of different flavors (see: 12 Flavor Gummy Bears), and I think the texture of their gummies is just perfect. Sour neon worms aren’t a new discovery for me, but they’re one of my all time favorites. Flavors include blue raspberry, lemon, orange, strawberry, and green apple.
As soon as I popped one of these Primrose Rootbeer Floats in my mouth, a wave of nostalgia swept over me. I’ve loved root beer candy ever since I picked up my first root beer-flavored Dum Dum Pop as a kid, and this candy brought those lollipop memories rushing right back. I rarely get super excited about the loose candy in my Candy Club box, but this one is great!
Here’s a shot of all three Halloween candies, side-by-side:
Verdict: I think this is my favorite Candy Club box yet! I’m so pleased that Candy Club offered a selection of spooky treats to pick from this month, and I’m going to enjoy snacking on these pumpkins, worms, and bats while I watch scary movies this Halloween. Value is always a little tricky with this box because it would be easy to buy bulk candy online for less than the subscription cost; however, even though this box doesn’t offer great value for money, I can’t help but love it. It’s so much fun!
