This is my first time stumbling across this box (thanks daily MSA email!), and I’m intrigued. Do the chopsticks come in all the boxes or just the full?

Hi Stacie!
The chopsticks are the “special item” that will only be included in the Premium Box. Hope that helps! 🙂

I am not impressed by this box and I do not think you should be reviewing a box that seems to bastardize and exploit a culture, as well as having very disturbing “exoticizing” elements to it’s concept. Halloween themed chopstickss for my hair *roll eyes* It’s frankly a tacky concept and they should be ashamed.

The box is coming from Japan, according to their website. They’re just taking their own culture and trying to share it in a way they think will relate to an American audience. ?

I’m not impressed and honestly a little skeeved by this box in general, but the chopsticks produced a resounding wtf from me.

“In Japan, chopsticks are essential eating utensils that can be found at any restaurants or Japanese homes. Next month, we bring you special Halloween themed chopsticks which you can use to eat your favorite Asian cuisines or even use to style your hair!”

I have never put chopsticks in my hair. That’s honestly disgusting. And Halloween themed chopsticks?? This seems like an exploitation of a culture for quick cash and I do not like the “exotic” implications of a box like this. At all.
