Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs in Medium – .75 oz Value $4

This leg makeup is temporary tanner that washes off with soap, water, and a washcloth, but otherwise is pretty water and transfer resistant. It has some serious staying power (which is a good thing), but that means it isn’t as easy to blend as I would have preferred. So my advice is to start spreading it over your skin immediately before it sets! (Swatched below.)

Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer in Fair to Medium – 2 oz Value $2

I received this in the Spring Walmart Beauty Box as well, so I was a little disappointed to see it again! This was my go-to self-tanner in my highschool/college days, but I’ve since found self-tanners that are better suited to my skintone, so I’ll pass this along to a friend or donate it.

Here are the swatches for the Sally Hansen legs:

On the top is the color as it comes out of the tube, and below is my best attempt at blending it out quickly!

Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Diamond Color & Radiance Conditioner – 50 ml Value $.85

Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Diamond Color & Radiance Shampoo – 50 ml Value $.85

I’m always happy to see a matching shampoo and conditioner set in a subscription box – and these are good sample sizes too! (They should be good for 2 uses each.)

I’ve always avoided haircare products with sulfates since I color treat my hair and a hairstylist told me to do so, but a quite a few MSA readers have mentioned having no issues with sulfates an color-treated hair. So, use these if they work for you! (This shampoo does have sulfates in the ingredients, but it is also marked as color-safe.)

Incoco Nail Art – Value $5

These are 12 strips made from real nail polish. (Instructions on how to apply them in pictures below.)

Goody Slide Proof 8 Soft Touch Silicone Elastics – Value $3.50

I’ve received these before in Target Beauty Boxes and I LOVE them! The little silicone nubs do a great job of holding your hair in place without sticking. These are my go-to hair piece for workouts I was about to buy more so this is perfect timing!

Here is more info on how to apply the Incoco Nail Art Strips:

In the box you get 12 strips and a mini file:

You’ll remove the clear cover from the strip, then peel off the polish and apply it to your nail. It will be longer than your nail, so you press it against the nail with the rest hanging over:

Then you just file off the excess part of the strip:

These were pretty easy to apply (about 3 minutes for one hand), and they stay on well, too. (Since this is a nail polish strip and not a sticker, you’ll need nail polish remover to take them off.)

Truly Radiant Clean & Fresh Clean Mint – .9 oz Value $.75

Toothpaste is one of those items I’m always happy to get a in subscription box. These sizes are great for travel or donations.

Aveeno Skin Relief Gentle Scent Body Wash – 1 oz Value $.60

The scent is Nourishing Coconut, and it is described to be as gentle as fragrance-free. I think the scent is very subtle, and the formulas feel gentle, so they’ve succeeded in my book!

Verdict: I am happy with my Summer Trendsetter Walmart Beauty Box. The value comes out to about $17.50, which is great for a $5 beauty box, and I’ll use almost everything in this box. What do you think of the Summer Walmart Beauty Box? Did you get the Classic or Trendsetter box?

  1. I received my box today. I knew there would be products I wouldn’t be able to use because you can’t customize your box. But for $5, it’s worth the risk. In my box was the Incoco nail wraps (different style), aussie hairspray, Sally Hansen airbrush legs, Degree motion sense deodorant, Simple micellar cleaning water, Revitalift re-volumizing serum & re-volumizing cream, ecoTools makeup brush cleansing cloths, Caress body wash, and Aveeno restorative night cream. I won’t use a lot of my samples but I’m content for the price.

    • I received my first box today…same exact Classic configuration as tinsley330. Very satisfied w/ this $5 box. Looking forward to the Fall box.

  2. Got my box today and very dissappointed – got the tan product but not sunsceen (I live in Florida what do I need fake tan for?) Also got Full-size Degree solid a triple fold card with shampoo sample and nail stickers (crazy pattern) and a small caress and the hairspray. totally not worth 5 bucks

  3. I got this exact same box. I am very happy with it. The coconut nail art was the price of the box alone so everything else was a bonus. I can not use the leg makeup though because I have fair skin and it is way too dark. The goody elastics will be given to my niece because my hair is too short now. I am still very happy with this box. This was my first one and I am looking forward to my next.

  4. I was so lucky that I didn’t even get mine and I probably never will. It was signed into my apartments, so it got here, and it was never signed out, but there is no package. I actually got this because my Mother and I are so low on all beauty products I was hoping to get a good deal on some stuff we might need (which is everything.) Unfortunately, since I’ve already contacted Walmart and their liability is fulfilled when it is accepted at the end point (my front desk) they cannot/will not replace it. Neither will my apartments. Big bummer and a waste of our money. :/

  5. I just got my classic box today. This is only my second box and while it’s a little better than the first, I feel that is missing something. I got: Pantene hairspray, banana boat sunscreen, jergens natural glow moisturizer, and a nivea in shower foil packet. I cancelled and opened a new subscription with my age adjusted to trendsetter.

    • Do you know what age would be considered trendsetter and what age would be classic?

  6. I got the classic box and it is probably worth $5, though pretty sure I wouldn’t have bought any of it: degree deodorant, pantene hair spray, Caresse…frangrance?, aveena and jergens natural glow , and the nivea foil pack……not keeping this as a sub, even at $5. I can always use moisturizer/body lotion, but for $5 I could have gotten a bigger bottle.

    • This is the same box I received. Not terribly exciting, especially after reading reviews of past boxes, I was a bit disappointed. That being said, I will probably use everything in it except possibly the self tanner which I have never even wanted to try. Maybe though…..

Will keep this as a sub because it’s so cheap and I can always use trial sizes but was hoping for the burts bees lippie or shampoo and conditioner I hadn’t ever tried….

  7. This one was a bit of a disappointment . I received the classic box.
    * Degree motion sense antiperspirant
    *Caress body wash
*(yet another ) Jergens Natural Glow
    * ( yet another ) Banana Boat spf 30 sunscreen
    * Pantene Pro V hairspray

and a foil of burts bees BB cream in a color too dark for me
and a foil of Nivea in shower lotion

The Body wash will be fun to try , and eventually I may use the hair spray .

I would love to try some shampoos

  8. Got my trendsetter box today..utter disappointment ?. It contained:
    Degree deoderent- full size
    Aveeno lotion- sample bottle
Jergens Natural Glow lotion- sample bottle
Caress Mystique Forever body wash-sample bottle
    Pantene hairspray- sample bottle
Nivea In-shower lotion sample packet with $1 off coupon

Apparently I received ‘left over’ items.

  9. I got the box with the Burt’s Bees lipstick, Vaseline intensive care advanced repair lotion, and the gold/black nail art.

  10. Got mine today, not sure which, as I thought I was set up to receive both. It contained degree deodorant, brilliant brunette shampoo, Aveno body wash and lotion, Aussie hair spray (love this stuff), small simple micellar water sample, foil sample of Nivea in shower lotion which came with a $1.00 off coupon. Not terribly exciting & nothing full size, but I will use a lot of it. At least last time the toothpaste was full sized but for $5 I won’t complain. My boxes seem to follow a pattern of 5 larger items, mostly deluxe but sometime a full size item, with 1 or 2 tiny samples thrown in.

    • I got the same. Really disappointed.

    • I received this same box, and frankly, I am happy with the items. I love Aveeno products and these are the perfect travel size. My hair changes – from dark blonde to pale brown (seasonal), so the Brunette Shampoo is welcome. I used to use John Fredia’s Blonde shampoo and loved it. I think that for the price, it is a good value – hey! I don’t have to buy deodorant for 6 months!!

  11. I got the classic box yesterday and received:
    Full size – Degree deodorant
Travel sizes – Pantene hairspray, Caress body wash, Banana Boat tanning lotion and Jergens Natural Glo
Foil packets – Burt Blee’s BB Cream and Nivea body lotion.

I have seen better boxes but I will use everything in it..

  12. I got Nivea foil packet body lotion, Vaseline intensive care 2 Oz, leg makeup .75 oz, essence shampoo and conditioner 1.7 oz, nail art gold, truly radiant tooth paste and the burts bees lipstick full size which retails for 8.99 so I am incredibly happy with this box!

    • And the Nivea comes with a $1.00 off coupon

  13. Got the classic today and it was terrible! Got shaving cream, st Ives scrub, jergens fake tan in light, tiny aveno and carress body wash. Everything went up for swap except the body wash which I love. My trendsetter was so much better.

    • OMG! I received the exact same box yesterday. Thought I was the only one that got that terrible box. Lol!

    • Terrible!! I’m going to try to change my birthday and get the trendsetter. I feel like it’s all the same as the last box but even less somehow

    • I got the identical box, I have now discovered the trendesetter box is way better than the classic box. I will be unsubscribing to the classic, it is ok though for $5, I just do not need this much stuff.

    • I received the same stuff. Was very disappointed. The jergens, st ives, and aveeno have been in the last 3 boxes I got from walmart. So, as usual, I basically received 2 new samples to try. The value of this box isn’t worth much more than $5, and who wants to receive the same products every single time!! Cancelled my subscription.

  14. I received mine today and was very happy with it!. Instead of the Hair ties I got the full size Burts Bees Lipstick in Blush Basin. Also my nail strips were super cute!!, gold and black colors, I’m actually gonna wait for nails to grow out a little before I use them hehe.
The leg makeup thingy was a little dark but definitely makes your legs look smoother, something I’ve been interested to try.
I love these Walmart boxes and they are always worth the 5 bucks

  15. I am obsessed with this box. Only $5 and I’ve always loved every single one of my boxes. I’ve had a subscription since it started. My box always has twice the amount of items than I see posted on the reviews, and most of the items I use. The rest I give to coworkers. I think this box beats Targets every time.

Love it. Highly recommend the Trendsetter box (I am 27 years old for anyone interested).

    • I get half of what I see posted and if this trend continues with this latest box, I’m cancelling. I know it’s only $5 but it’s aggravating that some get a lot, some good enough, and some get the leftovers. At least Target is fair to all subscribers.

  16. I didn’t get the hairties but I did get a full size Burts Bees lipstick. Unfortunately, it was a casualty of our 100 degree weather. I could still apply it with a brush, though. I really like this Walmart box and I’m glad I kept the subscription after the last box was a bust.

  17. I really wish Walmart would send boxes monthly. Even if they bumped the price up a few dollars. I haven’t received mine but I’ve not had a bad box from them yet.

I wonder if maybe the coupons can be sort of like “traced”. Like if you actually use the coupons they send better boxes since they know you are going out to buy more.

  18. I was so pleased with my WMBB this time. It is just what I would love very month to be like. I got the classic box with deodorant (smells good and says it’s for working out), vaseline lotion, aveno lotion, hair bands, caress body wash, and foil packets of Nivea shower lotion and loreal hair products. I’ll use everything but the loreal and have been wanting to try the caress and nivea.

I know I already said it, but this is what I want from every month. Drugstore products that I want to try but not buy a large container of unless I really love it more than my usual.

    • I have beauty box 5 for the same reason. While I love the trendy high end stuff, I love to try brands I can pick up at while I shopping at Walgreens or the grocery store.

  19. I received my Trendsetter box today. I received the nail wraps, shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, leg makeup, Vaseline lotion, in shower lotion sample, and a gorgeous shade of Burt’s Bees lipstick. I’m happy with that box!

    • Sounds like a good one! I love the formula of that Burt’s Bees lipstick! (And the honeycomb packaging is cute, too!)

  20. I got some of the same stuff no hair ties, different lotion, trendsetter box, but I got a full size Burt bees lipstick so I’m pretty happy

    • I did too! I just go my box today. Apparently they shipped them out in waves. The lipstick alone was worth more than what I paid for the box so everything else is a bonus. I think I am finally going to try the nail stickers. I have tons but I am kinda weary of actually putting them on.

  21. I did not get hair bands or leg makeup but got lotion and burtbees lipstick. Took it to Walmart and got a better shade.

  22. Just checked my mail. I got this exact same box, including the same pattern of nail art. It’s a “just ok” box I guess.

  23. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a Burt’s Bees lipstick instead of the hairbands and Jergens self tanner. The rest of my box was the same as this, though. I would have probably canceled the box if I hadn’t received the lipstick. Happy here, but I am sad for everybody that got mostly foil samples.

    • That lipstick is great! Definitely makes this box worth it! 🙂

  24. Can someone please walk me thru how to subscribe to the Trendsetter box as well. I received the Classic box but would like to get both! I see where you can add a subscription but it only asks for my shipping address. There’s no option to pick another type of box.

    • When I added another subscription, I just googled Walmart beauty box and signed up using my daughters name and birthdate. She’s 20, so I’ve been getting the trendsetter using her bday. I used the same address and thought I used a different email but when I go to my account it shows both boxes.
      Monica- Classic
      Haven- Trendsetter

    • I just signed up with my other email and hacked 15 years off my age kept name and everything else the same

  25. I’ve been keeping an eye on my account and they just updated today with a tracking number…and now I’m expecting my box within the next couple of hours! I’m anxious to see what I got. I was very happy with the spring box and used everything. However, the summer box seems to be all over the place. I would love to get the elastics instead of the Lady Gaga perfume. We’ll see.

    • Fingers crossed no perfume for you! 🙂

    • I got the Lady Gaga perfume instead of the elastics 🙁

  26. My trendsetter and classic boxes were nearly identical?

  27. I got almost exactly what was posted by ‘my addiction subscription’. The only difference was the nail covers were in a different design.
I was happy with the box. It was my first one. What I liked the best was the Aveno bath wash. I’ve seen youtubers talk about this product.
My least favorite was the shampoo and conditioner because my hair is not treated. Not sure if I can use them.

  28. I have gotten 4 boxes and I always seem to be at the end. I still don’t have Summer. I am not sure on their methodology on sending. I see people that have just signed up getting multiple boxes and I am still waiting. Waiting would be fine, but my boxes are about 1/3 the value of what I see posted by others in the past 3 boxes. I feel like I am getting leftovers…foil samples and maybe 1 of the items. The same Jergens lotions over and over. Fingers crossed I get the polish, toothpaste or hair ties this time to make it worth it.

    • I saw someone post somewhere they always got crap but then they changed their profile to someone younger and got better stuff after that.

    • I feel the same way. I just got the summer trendsetter box today. I got a foil lotion packet, a red Burt’s Bees lipstick and Vaseline lotion instead. I’m 26. I would have loved the hair ties for running and the Jergens and Aveeno instead! I’m so sick of red lipsticks, I have a pile of them from various sub boxes. I’m going to try my age at around 20.

      • I think that 35 and below is trendsetter, 35 and up is classic. So if you change your age from 26 to 20 you’d still get the trendsetter box.

    • I’m not sure how it works. My daughter’s trendsetter arrived over 2 weeks ago and I’m still waiting on my classic. SAME ADDRESS!! If I get foil samples again in my classic box then I’m cancelling.

  29. Walmart sends their boxes out in “waves”. It was a 1st, 2nd and 3rd wave. Not sure if that is still the case. I don’t know how they do it, but maybe it’s by zip or some other force of nature unknown of? Whatever their method is, it doesn’t make much sense. I got “junky” box after junky box, even when the 2 “great” boxes were out with the full size deo, ROC, etc. last year?

If they run out of an item, you usually get some kind of substitution from a prior box or nothing at all. You can get a box with 4 pitiful samples and someone else get a full box of great stuff. There is no method. If you contact them (which I did, more than once) they tell you they are different for different people. I personally think they run out of samples and you either get someone who puts a prior box sample in there if they have them–or nothing at all.

One time, I swear I got the last box they shipped before the new one. It was like 3 months after “everyone” had received theirs. I had decided I was just not getting those that season. I finally got my 2 boxes and I guess they had run out of everything, and I got two full size Vaseline lotions (huge) and 2 full size lip product with other samples. I was very happy. But, I couldn’t find where anyone got the combo I got in either box that season and as soon as I got it–their website changed to the new season—and again I got on the last mailing. Each and every single time. My zip (or whatever the protocol is) seems to get the last boxes each time. I got mad at my junky boxes and unsubscribed but I am thinking of taking a chance again. The past two times I got the boxes (I got both classic and trendsetter, so 4 boxes total) were so bad I quit.

I wish they’d make it where everyone got about the same stuff–but evidently this is how they roll. Every time I see a “good” box, I am tempted to subscribe again. They do have some great stuff—and some random stuff. I guess it is the thrill of the chance I like, too.

    • I agree. They should be consistent. I have received one box from them, what must have been in their last batch of boxes, that had many foil packets. If I got that regularly, I’d cancel. Even for $5, nobody wants a handful of foil packets. It seems I’m normally in their first batch though, so I am pretty happy with their boxes, overall.

    • I agree. I got my box today and I was surprised to see a full sized burts bee lipstick, everything in this box and 2 jergens lotions instead of just one. Last quarter I got complete scraps . Literally a foil shampoo sample and tooth paste. Not that I’m complaining this month, but it needs to be more uniform.

  30. Liz, I think our skin tones may be similar, and I love the Jergen’s self-tanner. What have you found that works better for you, as it may for me as well.?

    • I was going to post the same question as my skin tone is similar. I’ve always used and loved Jergen’s but it seems their formulation has changed? I don’t get the same natural color as I have in the past It also seems to streak now. ;-( I’ve tried a few other brands but after those failed attempts I’m back to the Jergen’s.

      • I use the Jergens year round. I don’t really use it to get a dark color, just about once a week to kind of even out my skin tone. I find that if I exfoliate really well beforehand it doesn’t streak.

    • I am pretty pale and use Banana Boat Summer Color sunless tanner and works great for me. It’s buildable so you can start out light and work it up to where you want it. I’ve never ended up orange with it. I had received it in one of those quarterly Allure boxes and ended up really liking it.

      • Thanks for the suggestion — I’ll give that a try.

  31. Got the trendsetter & classic boxes and am happy with both. I didn’t get the St. Ives product 🙁 (Back in the day, their apricot scrub and blue clay mask were my holy grail products.), or an Aveeno product, but I did get everything listed above.

I loved my nail wraps (white with geometric black lines). Happy to see they covered the cost of one of the boxes.

I also received (contents of both boxes) Pantene hair spray, Tom’s of Maine toothpaste, Lady Ga Ga perfume (repeat), Caress body wash, Burt’s Bees Milk & honey body lotion and Vaseline Intensive Care lotion. Foil packs included Loreal Revitalift and Age Perfect serums, Nivea In shower body lotion, Micellar cleansing water and I got a 100 count Blotting papers.

I opened my Play! box after I opened the Walmart boxes, and honestly, I was happier with the Walmart boxes. Not that June’s Play! box wasn’t good, I just felt like I got more for my money – at least in quantity. Quality however, may be a different story… But either way, I was really happy this go around.

  32. Liz – Do you have the classic box review yet? I was wondering if those of us “missing” stuff just got the classic instead.

  33. Wow I’m actually starting to feel pretty lucky about my box. I got most of the above except the Jergens and Aveeno. Which I don’t use anyway, instead I got the Lady Gaga perfume (and I actually liked it) and an in-shower body lotion with coupon. Can’t remember the brand name right now.

  34. I didn’t get either of my boxes yet. Do they send out any kind of shipping notification, or do you just wait for the box to show up?

    • I received a shipping email for one of them. The 2nd box showed up and I got the email for it the day it arrived. lol

    • Sometimes I get a notification and sometimes I don’t. You can log in and track it that way. (That’s new.) I subscribe to 4 boxes and only got an email for 1.

      • I get a notification to check my address that the box is coming at the beginning of the month and then nothing until it shows up.

  35. Liz, I’ve colored my hair for years and have used cheap shampoo and high end and all in between. Sulfate or not I’ve never noticed a difference. I read up on sulfates on Paula’s Choice and I don’t think it was an ingredient that got a negative review. I use that site regularly for their reviews. They are fair and not biased to Paula’s Choice products. The offer a wealth of information as well dispelling some common beliefs

    • Same. My hair has not seen its original color for about 6 years now, and sulfate/no sulfate shampoo didn’t make a difference in color brightness / longevity. There are so many beauty myths that are taken as common sense so I try to really analyze my specific situation, and I think sulfate & colored hair thing is a myth.

      • I have colored hair and I have noticed my color fades much faster and doesn’t look as glossy when using shampoo with sulfates. My husband and I also experience hair loss when using shampoo with sulfates. I think it depends on individual experience when it comes to these harsher ingredients.

  36. I got the classic box (and am mostly happy with it), and I also ordered one of each of the trendsetter boxes for 2 of my daughters. One of my daughters received the exact same items as you received, but the other daughter has not opened hers yet. As I mentioned, I am mostly happy with the boxes, but I am pretty disappointed that I didn’t receive any coupons.

  37. I got the exact same box and had never used these hair ties before and I LOVE THEM! this discovery alone makes me so happy with the box! glad customer service pulled through and sent me a new box despite the post office mix up.

  38. Mine was missing the Jergen’s, but everything else was the same. I thought it was one of the best boxes I have received from WM. The Classic box arrived yesterday……it was a horrible box!!! Three tiny lotion samples, some foils, more hair ties and a deodorant. I realize it’s only $5 and I will use everything, but I don’t understand why they can’t get it together like Target. Target appears to at least try to curate the box with a good mix of products and everyone gets the same items or variations. Yes, Target has increased their price, but their $5 boxes were pretty outstanding.

    • Oh, and my nail strips were a really cute orange floral pattern on a silver background with tiny black dots. Here’s a few application tips:
*. Use a base coat before applying.
*. Trim the length of each strip before applying… leaves less leftover
      strip to file away.
      * When trimming strip, leave a tiny bit past your natural nail. After
positioning and sticking decal, tuck the extra bit over your nail…..
this will seal the ends and help strip last longer.
      * Use a good top coat over the strips after application.
      * Save the extra bits left over from trimming……if a strip chips before
you are ready to change manicures, you may be able to repair the

      Hope this helps!!!!

      • Target is $10. If you combine the contents of both Walmart boxes it gets closer to a Target box. Some Target ones a little better, some not so much.

      • Target is usually 7 actually, once in awhile they release a more expensive box. I believe it was either last month or the one prior that tarets box was only 5 dollarz. And I agree with above pp, target does a much better job at including interesting, exciting and in general higher quality products for (usually) only 2 dollars more. One of my most favorite finds from beauty boxs has been from target! The shea moisture from last month, the cream rinse, it’s amazing. This box has been my first walmart box and I’m gifting/donating most of it. I honestly can barely remember what was in it.

  39. I’m Black so I don’t need tanning lotion.. Glad my money didn’t go to this box.

    • I’m African-American and I’m crazy enough to try it! ?
There are items in general beauty boxes like this one and target that aren’t “for me”. I usually try everything and I’ve been surprised by finding items I’ve liked and would buy again.
On the flip side it would be great if these boxes would take people of varying colors and shades into account.

  40. I’m curious to see what will be in my box. Mine will arrive tomorrow. I was subscribing to both boxes, but I got two very similar boxes for Spring (and two identical boxes on Winter) so this will be my first time only with Trendsetter.

  41. Just got the Classic box. I received the Aveeno sample (small, but will get used and smells good!); Vaseline IC lotion (what I consider full-size for a tube of hand lotion (Just used up the one in my purse so this is perfect timing and I like the formula); Goody hair elastics (happy to get these because I just cut my hair off but still need to pull it back on occasion and these don’t slip off of my little pony stub): Full-size Degree solid A/D (Had to giggle at the scent name: “Sexy Intrigue.” I usually wear an unscented one, but it doesn’t smell too bad so I will give it a try); sample bottle of the Caress fine fragrance body wash (smells alright so I’ll give it try…although this is NOT a new concept because there have been several brands over the years that have introduced a releasable scent wash); triple foil pack of the L’Oreal straightening hair shampoo, conditioner, and treatment (probably won’t use this as I color my hair and it’s already straight); and a sample foil of the Nivea In-shower body lotion with a coupon (been wanting to try this so even though it’s just a foil I was happy to get it). Super exciting? Nah. But for $5, are you kidding me? Of course it’s worth it, at least to me. I’m sure that if I had received all foil packs or something I would be disappointed. But heck, I spend twice as much every month for ipsy and barely use any of it. I am probably dropping it after this month. Just started the Allure box and we’ll see how that goes since if I hadn’t received an extra gift for waiting through the May debacle the box would have been only okay. Getting the Sephora Play! next month, too. Nice thing about Walmart and Sephora is that if I DO like something enough to repurchase I don’t have to order it as I know I can get it in-store. Not so much with ipsy and Allure. And like someone else said, if you get both boxes for $10 it’s still WAY more useful and a better value than what comes for $10 from some other subs and as such is money well-spent.

  42. I got classic box and received 6 items Aveene lotion, vasealine lotion, caeres deluxe samples. loreal foils 3 pack, neivea body wash foil pack. Ponytail band’s and Degree deodorant full size. I ordered more 2 more classic and one trendsetter for family members. Taking a long time to receive. Its worth more than 5 dollars.

    • Full size deodorant is great! Sounds like a good box! 🙂

    • I am disappointed as I did not get what you did in the Classic. The Aveeno lotion and Degree Deodorant is only thing similar! Here are the other things I got: Nivea Shower body lotion (one time use), Aveno body wash (trial size), Aussie Hair spray(don’t need hair spray), John Freida brunette shampoo, and foil pouch of simple face wash (one time). I wish I got the Caress, the ponytails and the Loreal instead. I did order trendsetter box (hopefully )as I put in my daughters age in second order) and hope I get some other items. I wonder why I didn’t get what others did?

  43. For the Spring box they had three different trendsetter boxes (I am assuming based on age?) but I didn’t get the same as other trendsetter boxes got. So I changed my age hoping for a better box. We shall see.

  44. I got that same box, but my nail art strips are a different (black & white) design.

    • Same box I got.

  45. I got the classic box, and Walmart should be ashamed of themselves. I got very small samples, good for only one use, and practically worthless coupons. I have been extremely disappointed the last 2 boxes, and this will be my last. Walmart gets samples free from the product suppliers, I would think, and they have become smaller and smaller. There used to be decent sized products, and value coupons. Again, this is my last box.

    • Of course they get the samples free from the manufacturers. Did you expect them to pay for samples?

      • We are…. ^.^

      • Venders want their products to be distributed so that’s why they have the free samples…to demo their products to the buyers in hopes their stuff gets put on the shelves. It’s not that easy to get box stores to sell your stuff. Even if they do decide to sell it, you have to pay for the display space in the store. The shelves at eye level cost a fortune for venders. I know this because someone close to me worked in retail on the business side where he would see people comes in to the office with samples to show.

  46. All of this was in my box. I was happy to have the repeat self tanner because I was about to go buy some. I remember using this in high school too lol. Thanks for showing how to use those nail thingies!

    • Glad it was helpful! I realized I’ve been reviewing these nail strips for years and never actually showed them on!

  47. No, the Classic and the Trendsetter are two different subs now. You can sign up for both under your one user ID (I did).

Glad I didn’t get the Aveeno. For $5, this box is an awesome deal.

  48. The Classic box has not shipped yet. At least I have not received mine yet.

    • I got mine a few weeks ago.

      • Same here. I received my classic box several weeks ago. Although last time I was at the end of the “waves” and received a box with last minute thrown in items so I’m not sure how it changes each time.

  49. I only got a few of those items in my box! I was missing the Jergens, goody elastic bands, and Aveno! Totally lame even though it’s only $5! When I opened it I thought it looked pretty empty ?

    • I was missing the same items too! Oh well still a good box for the price!!

    • Oh no – sorry to hear it! 🙁 Did you get other samples in their place?

      • Instead of hair ties, I got a tiny sample vial of Lady Gaga perfume. Yuck.

      • 🙁 sorry about that!

    • My box missed the exact same things. I could have used some hair ties :/ I also got lady gaga perfume sample in place of those three items lol.

    • Yep me too! Wasn’t anything like this box????

  50. I sure didn’t get all of those items in my box! ????

    • Yea mine was missing a couple of those items as well but overall, I can’t complain. I thought the box was pretty cool for just $5. definitely look forward to them:)

      • Not to me! What a disappointment!
