Wooden Photo Frame, Turkey - Value $15

This wood has a rustic/raw quality to it, and I think that goes perfectly with the simple design. I imagine this will work well with most decor styles!

Wooden Pencil Cup, Turkey - Value $15

I think this is my favorite item in the box - I'm always happy with simple and clean designs! Here is a closer look at the wood grain:

Undated Weekly Planner by Marie Mae Co. - Value $18

Since this planner was sent out in a March box, I'm very happy to see it is undated. Here it is out of the packaging:

I like the cover, but my first thought was, "I miss that beautiful print!"

Fortunately, it appears again inside:

Elephant Poo Bookmark, Sri Lanka - Value $3

This isn't the first time GlobeIn has sent Mr. Ellie Pooh paper! (Check out the July GlobeIn review, too!)

If you aren't familiar with this paper:

All of our paper products are 100% recycled. They are made up of 30% fiber from elephant dung and 70% post consumer paper. There are no toxic chemicals used in our paper making process. Natural vegetative binding agents, along with water-soluble salt dyes for coloring are used. Mr. Ellie Pooh’s papers are handmade, acid free and as organic as it gets.

Compared to using virgin wood, paper made with 100% recycled content uses 44% less energy, produces 38% less greenhouse gas emissions, 41% less particulate emissions, 50% less wastewater, 49% less solid waste, and—of course—100% less forest destruction.

Palm Leaf Basket – Value $12

Each box comes with some of the contents packaged in a palm leaf basket - they’re great for storage!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $62. I think that's good for a subscription box that focuses on fair trade and giving back. And as always, GlobeIn impresses me with their themes and curation each month!

I really love the two wooden pieces this month. What do you think of the March 2016 GlobeIn Artisan box?

Looking forward to mine. I like the idea of an undated planner; might save it for next year. I can always use more picture frames, especially since I just found out I’m going to be a grandma (for the first time) at the end of August!
